We do bubble baths and my son really enjoys when I grab a handful of bubbles and then he pours a jug full of water over my hand to get rid of them, and he likes to grab bubbles for me to pour water on.
How old? We use bath crayons and foam letters and numbers to teach my 2 year old the alphabet and to recognize numbers. There are also some toys that are more fun than others like we have an electric speed boat that races around or a fishing pole and fish to catch.
We bought this kids shaving cream stuff. It’s Mr. Bubble brand. My kids loved it. You can spray it on the wall and write , or their bodies, or right in the tub. I think I got it at Walmart.
A projector!!!! My kids love this. It’s not entirely interactive but they love talking about/pointing at different animal shapes. I usually pair this with glow sticks. Shut the lights off and it’s a party!
I blow bubbles for the kids during bath time! It’s so much fun! I draw up a bubble bath then get a container of blowing bubbles and it’s a bubble party! And the fun part is they can catch and hold the bubbles with soapy hands. Loads of fun.
Lush has a product called [FUN](https://www.lush.com/us/en_us/c/fun) that's like a soap playdough. My kid plays with it endlessly. We've had some luck listening to kids audio stories in the bath, either through Spotify or our Yoto player. She's only three so they don't capture her attention for very long, but when they do she is totally in the zone.
You can get soap that's colored for finger painting!
Plastic cups or jugs can be thrown in the dishwasher
My two year old loves using the empty soap pump to squirt water
Colored tabs or bath bombs to color the water are fun
How old is she? Fave toys here are basic cups and a watering can.
Loads of much fancier things available, as in other comments, but…does she need to play in the bath? Sometimes it’s fine to just have a wash/splash and then get out. Also just lie in the bath being calm or singing songs etc
We had bath letters and numbers, sticking to the wall as we said the letter/number or color. Found some animals, too. Color changing tablets for the water, we enjoyed mixing colors to see what they would make.
I personally hated the crayons. They were hard to get off
We use bath crayons to mix it up. She loves them.
I was going to suggest this! Or even listening to music/singing songs.
Bath crayons are great! Also, as I learned, any crayon can be a bath crayon, just make sure it's washable

Agreed! Bubble baths are just so much fancier and fun. We also sometimes put food colouring in the water to make it fun too

There are non toxic light up glow sticks. We throw them in and turn off the lights. When she was younger, I had her grab specific colors etc.
