It looks really good. Mine is fairly similar. I don't use that much Evade Extender or Quick Sheath. I run Tool Specialist 5 and 1 level of Earplugs. It is pretty much a Zero Skill Discharge build.

Frostfang Barioth has a lot between the whole set, as an example, but not three on one piece).
A charm that gives 5 levels huh... sounds easy enough. Haven't fought fatalis yet, dropped the game when safi was the last big boss years ago. Started over recently and just finished the main game and moving to iceborne now but the current kulve tarroth siege is giving me heavy fomo.
Well of note the rank 5 charm does require beating Arch-Tempered Velkhana, which is technically harder to aquire than beating Fatalis since the event is only available after master rank 100. So it's not easy to get. But it exists!
Also if I were you I'd wait for post game and do the Master Rank Kulve Event quest instead of the siege. It has a rather obnoxious phase-by-phase time limit so it's best done following a guide with post game gear, but it's less of a hassle than doing the full original seige.
Good luck and welcome back. Don't sweat having meta gear either, aside from a few hard DPS checks it's fine to just do what you want, especially if you're prioritizing defensive gear. Lots of people get hung up on purely optimizing damage but utility and defense is, in my opinion, far better until you've learned fights.
i just need attack +2 jewels and i can get rid of some other skills i didnt show since they arent much helpful without them maxed out, but PP is always a must

for starters, depending on which u want more get the charm for it and upgrade it when possible, farm jewels from investigations, critical eye is what u wanna maximize most out of the 2.
Dope. I've been wearing the Divine Blessing 3 necklace since I entered high rank. So far there hasn't been any reason to take it off, but Iceborne monsters are one shooting me even with it, so it may not matter.
After the reindeer and the viper both carted me a solid 6 times each on those first hunts I couldn't even tell if DB was activating or not. In 12 total carts I'd expect it to proc once.
I was wearing full Nergigante HR armor, but it was doing nothing. Thanks to a YouTube guide I got a master Kulu chest and a couple of Beo pieces, but that still doesn't seem like it's helping as much as it should. (Yes even fully upgraded with armor spheres)
I've mostly been dual daggers, but recently been loving switch axe. So I have the Val Hazak, Teostra, Bone, and like 4 other axes all between rarity 7 and 9
I run the same thing except free meal 3 vs atk boost 4. Im cool with 95% affinity on non-tenderized weak parts.

quite literally torture, i was using LS mainly when i got to fatty, but i started using swaxe whike grinding for armor and ended up loving it

DB, EW, and EE seems like a bit of overkill. Could fit in a bit more damage if desired.

yeah, early iceborne is pretty brutal, what weapon do u use? the banbaro armor should maybe help a good amount

If you like to use ZSD then I would add tool specialist 5, or whatever you can comfortably slot in, otherwise it looks great.
How do you cope without speed eating? Or are you a max potions only kinda guy?

Put 1 point into Earplugs that way you won't get thrown out when the monster roars at you while doing ZSD.
2 points of focus will let you charge your sword in 1 combo
