My favorite setup for vanilla is this:

Yes! Also, you're resistant to disease, completely immune to poison, and can breathe under water, but it isn't a constant effect. You have to cast it to breathe under water. Not sure why they did it like that but you can cast it unlimited amount of times.
They did it that way because of the Canal Puzzle quest for the Tribunal Tempel, and the final room with the solution being >!to drown yourself!<. If you had constant effect waterbreathing as a racial ability like the nords constant effect fortify attack you wouldn't be able to complete that quest in that playthrough.
That's the only reason I can think of for it being a cast spell instead of a constant effect.

I just found the Fists of Randagulf naturally! I mean, I didn't know where they were and I didn't go looking for them. I was just following the Main Quest, and when I found it, I remembered that you had mentioned something about fists.

First off you seem to be playing on openMW, or at least some sort of PC build of the game, based on the UI. That means that you have access to the [Official Plugins ](https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Plugins), which are free DLC for the game. The notable ones here are Adamantium Armor and Helm of Tohan. Adamantium Armor adds, well, Adamantium Armor to the mainland sections of the game. This means that you don't need to go to Mournhold (City of light! City of magic!) to get a set of very good medium armor, and can instead buy or steal it from merchants around Vvardenfell. The Helm of Tohan is a special adamantium helm that you get after a short quest, which is open faced meaning that Argonians can wear it, and has the highest enchant value in the game besides the Daedric Tower Shield.
Beyond that, for armor you need to remember that you cannot wear boots or closed face helmets as a "beast race", and instead have Unarmored level every once in a while. You can change this very easily with the construction set, as it's literally just a single check box, however doing so trades one downside for another very minor one. It breaks the torso section of the player model (at least in the inventory screen) when not wearing clothes or armor. You also get a natural slight bonus to Medium Armor. For weapons Argonians have a natural bonus to Spear, which is kinda nice. It really doesn't matter what weapon you spec into though if you train it to a usable level.
Argonians also get a +15 to Athletics which is kinda huge, and have 100% poison immunity and 75% disease resistance as constant effects. They also get a waterbreathing spell, 120 seconds for 5 Magicka. You also get a 5+ to Unarmored and various magic skills.

When I first started playing BG3, the Githyanki race *sort of* reminded me of Morrowind's Argonians. What I mean is, each has a very unique appearance that deters some people, and an absolutely ***awesome*** set of racial bonuses! For the record, I love both.
