Here's a few I can think of:
In the Line of Duty: The F.B.I. Murders
Die Hard
Inside Man
Ocean's Eleven
The Score
The Brink's Job
Reservoir Dogs
Swordfish
The Getaway
Heist
The Bank Job
Had to scroll through to find Heist (2001). Gene Hackman, Danny Devito, Delroy Lindo, Sam Rockwell, Patti Lupone and Rebecca Pidgeon with a plot twist to die for…
Bob Le Flambeur (Bob the gambler, very influential film)
The Good Thief (not my favorite, but it's a remake of bob the gambler)
Le Cercle Rouge (The Red Circle)
Very influential on the heist genre, Melville is the first one I've seen that focused that much on the heist process, you'll see the connection to a lot of newer heist films.
Dragged Across Concrete. (2018). This one flew under my radar. It is definitely worth a watch.
The Thief (1981. Dir. By Michael Mann who dir. Heat, one of the best heist movies)
The Driver (1978)
The last two movies are mainstream heist movies.
How to Rob a Bank on Netflix right now is a documentary but feels like a movie. It’s insane. Bank heists, dogged lawmen, police shootouts, disguises…it’s got it all.
Killing Zoe (1993)
The Underneath (1995)
Point Break (1991)
A Fish Called Wanda (1988)
The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974)
Ronin (1998)
The Wild Bunch (1969)
Kelly’s Heroes (1970)
Band of Outsiders (1964)
The Duke (2020)
Out of Sight is one of my favorite films, probably my favorite heist film. Three Kings also excellent. The Italian Job (Mark Wahlberg) isn’t the same quality but is fun.

Thief (1981) is on Tubi. It was directed by Michael Mann who later directed Heat (1995), also a heist movie.

Heat is *THE* best heist movie.
Hell or Highwater
It makes me a Comanche
rififi
Came here to make sure this was here. Rififi rules and totally meets his requirements as it’s certainly not mainstream (and from like 70 years ago).
Den of Thieves is very solid. Just rewatched it. It feels like the trashier version of Heat in the best way.
How to Blow Up a Pipeline (2022) is basically a heist movie, it follows the plot beats of a heist movie. It's a very tense thriller
I enjoyed this movie quite a bit. Very riveting.
The Italian Job Mark Wahlberg Jason Statham
The Italian job has a stacked cast! It's definitely a good one!
The original version is pretty good too.
Here's a few I can think of: In the Line of Duty: The F.B.I. Murders Die Hard Inside Man Ocean's Eleven The Score The Brink's Job Reservoir Dogs Swordfish The Getaway Heist The Bank Job
Had to scroll through to find Heist (2001). Gene Hackman, Danny Devito, Delroy Lindo, Sam Rockwell, Patti Lupone and Rebecca Pidgeon with a plot twist to die for…
It was a decent movie. The F.B.I. murders one was actually based on a real incident were agents lost their lives trying to bring down robbers.

I like Tower Heist
Bob Le Flambeur (Bob the gambler, very influential film) The Good Thief (not my favorite, but it's a remake of bob the gambler) Le Cercle Rouge (The Red Circle) Very influential on the heist genre, Melville is the first one I've seen that focused that much on the heist process, you'll see the connection to a lot of newer heist films.
Melville is amazing. I love pretty much everything he did.

the great train robbery
Dragged Across Concrete. (2018). This one flew under my radar. It is definitely worth a watch. The Thief (1981. Dir. By Michael Mann who dir. Heat, one of the best heist movies) The Driver (1978) The last two movies are mainstream heist movies.
