[Battlefield Earth (2000)](https://www.metacritic.com/movie/battlefield-earth-a-saga-of-the-year-3000/critic-reviews/) . . . but the reviews are hilarious!
The ones with all three, Mike, Kevin, and Bill are pretty much like classic MST, just missing the silhouette! A good double feature rifftrax if you love 80s action movies are Miami Connection and Samurai Cop. Their website sells physical(admittingly not much) and digital, and I'm sure they are/will be having a 4th of July sale too!
Leonard Part 6 - long considered one of the worst movies ever made. Now! With extra cringe! It stars Bill Cosby.
Mac and Me
The list of Razzie winners and nominees will provide many more possibilities:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Raspberry_Award_for_Worst_Picture
I saw Leonard Part 6 in the theater. I was at my friend's house and his mom took us. Even as a kid I remember thinking that this is not how movies are supposed to be.
I did too. I remember the Burger King after more fondly. Seriously. I can’t remember a thing about the movie, but I know I had a cheeseburger after and picked off the pickles to eat them first.
Firefly & related Serenity are gold.
Jupiter Ascending has it’s cheese factor, and some moments (lines) are hard to stomach, but overall there’s a lot to like. Even the cringe is fun, sometimes!
MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE (1987) Searching the year revealed that the title is actually all in caps and should definitely tell you something lmao. It’s so wildly bad and cheezy that it’s absolutely hilarious. Like it’s really trying to take itself seriously. From the Soda vending machines killing little leaguer’s launching cans at heads, to the Diner’s 80’s electric carving knife chasing waitresses 🤣. Stephen King and Emilio Estevez on the set in the 80’s there musta been so much cocaine around 🤣.
The long director's cut is a surprisingly good movie(theatrical cut omits a LOT of plot). I know I'm biased because I grew up with that movie. It's bad but I also find it oddly charming.
It's also got a pre-Bond Brosnan!!
May have to hunt down this director's cut lol. I love a good terribad movie. Just cos it's objectively janky and bafflingly disconnected from the supposed source material does not exclude it from being enjoyable.
I actually think it's a legit good movie(i also know im in the minority with that too lol). We just lucked out and happened to buy the Director's Cut vhs back when it came out. I probably still have it downloaded too(it was difficult to find that version sailong the high seas). The DC never got a dvd release, but I think it's Scream Factory that finally released it on blu ray(which I have lol).
The movie makes so much more sense in the DC cut.
It's a weird thing because the DC is like 2 hours and 49 minutes long but you really don't feel that runtime at all.
Also as a King fan, I'm completely happy with VR and Jeff Fahey and Pierce Brosnan donning Tron suits with early 90s CGI on display. Seems much better than a naked fat ancient god worshipping lawn cutter telepathically controlling his mower while eating grass shavings.
Sorry for the long reply, talking about this movie has me wanting to watch it again.
In the 70s, I went to the drive-in with a car full of us girls for a double feature: Motel Hell and The Incredible Melting Man. We ordered a cheese pizza from the snack bar, and it looked exactly like like the melted face of the unfortunate man.
No way jury duty !!
Deep fry the asssss. Deep fry the asssss.
*dances around*
Any movie that has a line (moment) that sticks with me and brings me such joy for 20+ years can’t be all that bad, can it?
Of course I’m pretty confident that this is the only part that made the movie worth it, but that it did !
I just pulled up this scene online to show my sister a few weeks, after talking about it a few times, because it’s so great ! And I cackled like a weirdo while I sang it and it played.
I have to ask what age you are? Nothing But Trouble is hilarious bc it’s so bad. So is Evolution, Tremors, Dumb and Dumber, Idiocracy, Mars Attacks, etc. My dad couldn’t handle Napoleon Dynamite bc he took it too seriously. Sounds like that’s what happened?
Now hang on - there is a perfectly good cut for Manos The Hands of Fate - the Mystery Science Theater 3000 cut. I mean, sure, TV's Frank apologized for the movie, and said not to tell Dr Forrester or the doc would kill Frank. And Dr Forrester apologized for the movie and said not to tell TV's Frank or the doc would kill Frank.
Okay "good" is clearly relative, so I'm sorry, but if you tell anybody, I'll have to kill Frank.
“Drag Me To Hell” is a fav. It’s got evil dead / cult horror vibes. It’s a good movie though…. But along the lines of “so bad it’s good.” Hope you watch it.
I genuinely enjoy/love all of these, but have often seen them referred to as "bad" movies by other people...
Masters of the Universe (1987)
Earth Girls Are Easy (1988)
Chopping Mall (1986)
The Stuff (1985)
Killer Klowns From Outer Space (1988)
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (1978)
Attack of the Killer Donuts (2016)
Jack Frost (1997)
Bubba Ho-Tep (2002)
SlumberParty Massacre II (1987)
Dude Bro Party Massacre III (2015)
Popcorn (1991)
Mindhunters (2004)
Dead and Breakfast (2004)
and my favorite, Survival Island (a.k.a. Monster Island)(2002)
There’s a lot of great 80’s films in the comments on this post. I feel a distinct lack of appreciation (by many) for the awesomeness that was the style and vibe of 80’s flicks.
Wonder Woman: 1984
Not Another Teen Movie
Eurotrip
Dude, Where’s My Car?
Any of the Evil Dead sequels
Venom: Let there be Carnage
Basically any sequel really
Early Peter Jackson movies.
Bad Taste
Meet the feebles - basically the Muppet Show on crack
Dead Alive - a zombie movie with some incredible scenes
All these movies show how amazing Peter Jackson was with practical effects and puppets and how he was the right choice for avoiding CGI in Lord of the Rings
Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001). Mixes multiple genres together, mostly martial arts, murder mystery, and monster flick. Takes place in rural France in the 1700s. Despite some good elements, it is very easy to make fun of this film while watching it (if that's what you're hoping to do).
Gymkata
American Ninja (all of them)
Death Race 2000 (original)
Samurai Cop
Mazes and Monsters
Doll Man
Dark Man
Enter the Ninja
Gleaming the Cube
Notting Hill
1. The Kentucky Fried Movie (don’t forget to make popcorn, and watch with friends)
2. Gods Of Egypt
3. The Velocipastor
4. Bad Taste (the best kind of bad movie)
5. Brain Damage
6. The Forbidden Zone
7. Hell Comes To Frog Town
"The Forbidden Zone" makes a nice bizarre double feature with "200 Motels". Musician madness, Nonsensical plots, Bizarre cameos, and gratuitous nudity!
Cool As Ice
Oh God
It is indeed delightfully terrible but well-shot by Janusz Kamiński, Spielberg's DP on Schindler's List and Saving Private Ryan.
Three tragedies
Why are you trying to make him kill himself. Also nothing but trouble is fantastic. And I'll die on that hill.
If he survived Ishtar he’ll survive anything
Drop the zero and get with a hero.
[Battlefield Earth (2000)](https://www.metacritic.com/movie/battlefield-earth-a-saga-of-the-year-3000/critic-reviews/) . . . but the reviews are hilarious!
I'd suggest the Rifftrax version for any MST fans, it makes an already funny bad movie even more hilarious
The first horror movie I ever saw was "The Crawling Eye" and the MST was icing on that cake! I'll have to look for Rifftrax.
Thanks!
I'll add one worse than that one: Skyline.
Skyline was a guilty pleasure, I was surprised! I barely remember the sequel however.
Trying to give this person a prolonged migraine?😂
Plan 9 From Outer Space. The Stuff. Attack of the Killer Tomatoes. Anything by Uwe Boll.
Whoa whoa whoa. What's wrong with the stuff? The stuff is solid.
How dare you. The stuff was amazing. 🤣
These are good selections too. I've watched both The Stuff and Anything by Uwe Boll. They are very interesting.

I saw Leonard Part 6 in the theater. I was at my friend's house and his mom took us. Even as a kid I remember thinking that this is not how movies are supposed to be.
Same, saw it in the theater. Odds are you and I saw it in the same theater 😂
This is an amazing slam on that movie
I did too. I remember the Burger King after more fondly. Seriously. I can’t remember a thing about the movie, but I know I had a cheeseburger after and picked off the pickles to eat them first.
I recently watched Leonard Part 6 and Ghost Dad, and HFS they were awful.
Ha! I saw both of those in the theater.
Ghost Dad is definitely the low point of Sidney Poitier's career as a director.
Mac and Me is on Netflix as part of MST3K (which makes it a lot more tolerable).
I had a moment of panic when I thought you meant Serenity, the Firefly follow-up. But no, we're good. Jupiter Ascending!
I'm glad I searched and found your post because I was about to tear OP a new one!
Hah I was appaled that Mal and the crew of Firefly could appear on a list like this full of washed out degenerates.
Firefly & related Serenity are gold. Jupiter Ascending has it’s cheese factor, and some moments (lines) are hard to stomach, but overall there’s a lot to like. Even the cringe is fun, sometimes!
Same here!
The core
Heresy
Unobtanium!
which was then sent to the planet in Avatar

Plus Lisa Simpson is in it.
In a similar vein...Lawnmower Man!

This machine is calling me an asshole!
Exorcist 2: The Heretic
The song during closing credits is amazing, though.
Need some sleep? Watch Exorcist II.
What do you think about The Pope's Exorcist? It's very good by my own assessment.
Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966)
The master will be very disturbed. I'll get the luggage.
Tammy and the T- Rex
Idk why but I started thinking about that horrible movie earlier and the finger gun scene . (Shudder)
There’s so many messed up scenes
Showgirls.
So bad, even rampant nudity couldn't save it.
Even nude Jesse Spano couldn't save it!
Funnier still is the cleaned-up-for-cable version, with digitally added panties and ridiculous words dubbed in over all the swearing.
The jacuzzi scene with her flopping like a dying fish was the funniest sex scene I ever saw. And it was supposed to be serious and sexy!
Twilight
Great soundtrack though
Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man
When I hear "Cocaine's a hell of a drug," I picture the screenwriter of this movie pounding out the script in a single night.
Prime and tubi have "50 Worst Movies Ever Made," which has plenty to choose from and is enjoyable. Ed Wood classics, too.
Miami Connection Enter the Ninja, Revenge of the Ninja, and Ninja III: The Domination. And any other Cannon Group films
Friends for eternity, loyalty, honesty, we'll stay together through thick or thiiiiiin Miami Connection rocks!
I disagree with the ninja movies of Sho Kosugi and the best Cannon movie is The Delta Force
That is true, but I figured I string them as the trilogy they are. :)
I saw at least one of those Ninja movies in the theater. I was definitely too young and my Dad definitely regretted taking me.
Ninja III The Domination kikkks ass
I think Revenge of the Ninja might have been my favorite movie, when I was nine or ten.
R.O.T.O.R, Death Machines
Atlas 2024 with Jennifer Lopez
In the 70s, I went to the drive-in with a car full of us girls for a double feature: Motel Hell and The Incredible Melting Man. We ordered a cheese pizza from the snack bar, and it looked exactly like like the melted face of the unfortunate man.
But did you get some Farmer Vincent Fritters to go with it?
Motel Hell came out in 1980.
Velocipastor!!!!!!!
+5 for this!
This among my best favorites. I will rate this recommendation 10/10. It's the real deal.
I lost it at the introduction of Franky Mermaid😆
"And why is my name Frankie Mermaid?" "Cus you're swimming in b****es."
This... This is a masterpiece worth laughing at. Fan #1 of the car on fire VFX
Ballistic Ecks vs. Sever
Leonard Part 6
Black Sheep (2006 one, not the Farley one) Teeth
Teeth!!!!!
Black Sheep is one of my B-movie favorites!
teeth
Oh boy!
I've never watched Teeth. What's the storyline like? If it's very interesting, I would mind getting started right on it today.
It's about as ludicrous as you'd expect about a lady discovering she has the old vagina-dentata
The Adventures of Ford Fairlane.
Monkeybone. No one can understand why I bought the DVD.
Love it
Hell comes to frog town - one of Roddy Piper’s classics. Zardoz- Sean Connery wearing a red banana hammock, thigh high boots and bandoliers.
Samurai Cop
Forgot to put this in the post! I love Samurai Cop so much
Madame Web
Fantastic Voyage-Raquel Welch attacked by white blood cells.
Archer did a wonderful spoof of that movie.
Staying Alive (1983)
Rubin and Ed. I can’t preach this enough
I was going to mention this, it NEVER gets mentioned. Crispin Glover is such a delightful weirdo.
Love
Velocipastor
Trial and Error (1997) Jury Duty (1995)
No way jury duty !! Deep fry the asssss. Deep fry the asssss. *dances around* Any movie that has a line (moment) that sticks with me and brings me such joy for 20+ years can’t be all that bad, can it? Zombeaver... Species 3... SimonSez Enjoy!!
You can start by removing Serenity from that list of bad movies!
Different Serenity (2019), not the Firefly sequel (2005)
Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo
Birdemic 2
Superman 4: The Quest for Peace
Master Of Disguise. Stay Alive. Darkness Falls
Kung Fury!
Kung Fury is amazing. Don't you dare say otherwise.
It's Pat
Cobra
Rocket man is not bad!!!!!
if you’re talking about the Elton John one, than yes
Rubber is my favorite good bad movie
I have to ask what age you are? Nothing But Trouble is hilarious bc it’s so bad. So is Evolution, Tremors, Dumb and Dumber, Idiocracy, Mars Attacks, etc. My dad couldn’t handle Napoleon Dynamite bc he took it too seriously. Sounds like that’s what happened?
The Gingerdead Man
Shitty but enjoyable: Bowfinger
You think Bowfinger is shitty? Jesus, people telling on themselves with this.
"You, yes you, you don't have the golden treasure of guilty pleasures, mortal: Ninja III: the Domination" "Now you can go"
Howard the Duck
I always enjoy Hudson Hawk when I catch it on TV.
Hudson Hawk (1991) Battlefield Earth (2000) North (1994)
North is honestly one of the most difficult films I've ever sat through. It's offensively unfunny and shitty
Joe dirt 2 is the worst movie I’ve ever seen
Oh, I got the end all be all of bad movies, and it's terrible, like grounds for divorce terrible....Battlefield Earth.
Winnie the pooh: Blood and honey. It's bad and not so bad it's good, it's just bad.
Cabin Boy (1994)
Let’s not be hasty and throw art in with the trash.
Said like a true fancy lad! Want to buy a monkey
Dark Dungeons, baby!
Hobgoblins!
Oh Dad, Poor Dad, Mama's Hung You in the Closet and I'm Feeling So Sad
Race 3 (2018)
Killer sofa
Your Highness had the cast for a good movie but unfortunately it's not very good
Flesh Gordon Meets The Cosmic Cheerleaders
Mars Needs Moms Santa Claus and the Moon Men Dracula meets Billy the Kid
You reminded me of Hulk Hogan's older movies: Santa With Muscles, Mr. Nanny, Suburban Commando. Spaced Invaders (1990) might be a good one.
Samurai Cop. Hands down. It WILL be the worst/dumbest thing you've ever seen in your life.
Birdemic
Phantom of the paradise.ita pretty bad.several movies from 70s had great actors, bad movies in retrospect.this just one of them.
North (1994)
Maggie with Arnold was literally hell to sit and watch it was absolutely shit house
Old
Serenity was a lousy film but it did give Anne Hathaway the opportunity to develop the best Matthew McConaughey impression.
Love guru
“Drag Me To Hell” is a fav. It’s got evil dead / cult horror vibes. It’s a good movie though…. But along the lines of “so bad it’s good.” Hope you watch it.
Good movie. The meanest ending to a movie I've ever seen. Raimi really said "actually, fuck this bitch"
Seriously, so cold. 😂 love it
The Interview (Seth Rogan and James Franco)
I genuinely enjoy/love all of these, but have often seen them referred to as "bad" movies by other people... Masters of the Universe (1987) Earth Girls Are Easy (1988) Chopping Mall (1986) The Stuff (1985) Killer Klowns From Outer Space (1988) Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (1978) Attack of the Killer Donuts (2016) Jack Frost (1997) Bubba Ho-Tep (2002) SlumberParty Massacre II (1987) Dude Bro Party Massacre III (2015) Popcorn (1991) Mindhunters (2004) Dead and Breakfast (2004) and my favorite, Survival Island (a.k.a. Monster Island)(2002)
Most of these are really good. Bubba Ho-Tep is a classic.
**Double Team** (1997). Good luck finding a worse on-screen pairing than Van Damme and Dennis Rodman.
There’s a lot of great 80’s films in the comments on this post. I feel a distinct lack of appreciation (by many) for the awesomeness that was the style and vibe of 80’s flicks.
Roadtrip
Wonder Woman: 1984 Not Another Teen Movie Eurotrip Dude, Where’s My Car? Any of the Evil Dead sequels Venom: Let there be Carnage Basically any sequel really
Green Lantern and that other crappy movie where he is a ghost with a bed sheet over his body the whole time.
Breaking 2: Electric Bugaloo
How tf is Spiderman 3 not on there?
Trancers 1-6
Hard Target. Absolutely terrible movie that is extremely watchable.
I didn't see Moonfall on your list. It is definitely the worst movie I've ever seen. But it's so much worse than Plan 9.
Early Peter Jackson movies. Bad Taste Meet the feebles - basically the Muppet Show on crack Dead Alive - a zombie movie with some incredible scenes All these movies show how amazing Peter Jackson was with practical effects and puppets and how he was the right choice for avoiding CGI in Lord of the Rings
Dead Alive/Braindead is fucking amazing. The closest anyone has ever got to creating a real-life cartoon. Still gotta watch the other ones
They're on YouTube.
BASEketball
Megaforce Summer camp nightmare Piranha 2
Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001). Mixes multiple genres together, mostly martial arts, murder mystery, and monster flick. Takes place in rural France in the 1700s. Despite some good elements, it is very easy to make fun of this film while watching it (if that's what you're hoping to do).
Nothing But Trouble is the only time I liked Chevy Chase.
Nah cuz, caddy shack. Not bad and one of the best of his performances.
I seen Cops & Robbersons in theaters and NEVER AGAIN!! He got put into the timeout corner after that!
Six String Samurai (1998)
Gymkata American Ninja (all of them) Death Race 2000 (original) Samurai Cop Mazes and Monsters Doll Man Dark Man Enter the Ninja Gleaming the Cube Notting Hill

The M Night Shyamalan Bad movie collection: Lady in the Water The Happening After Earth Avatar: The Last Airbender Knock at the Cabin Old
Second The Happening
I am the only person I know who likes The Happening.
Transylvania 6-5000 & Vibes
I liked Vibes!
Underrated classic.
I love the line, "And then they never call." I use it a lot but fewer and fewer people get it.
Halloween 3: Season of the Witch I hate that I love such a piece of shit movie.
It's unironically the second best Halloween movie, not a piece of shit
Okay, you got me. It’s not a POS movie. I actually like it, even though I get side eye from fellow horror enthusiasts.
I'm convinced that anyone who doesn't like that movie just knows that MM isn't in it and hasn't actually watched it
It’s my fave I can’t be arsed with Michael Myers’s though Halloween 2 was the most interesting for me with him in.
My thoughts exactly 2>3>1>>>>garbage rest of series
I Spit On Your Grave (1978) Toxic Avenger (1984) and every other Troma film.
The Stuff
Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky
Benchwarmers, for some reason, I loved this garbage movie as a kid
