Twins and Windy. Fairtex my least favorite

KoreaNinjaBJJ

Same. Always go back to Twins. Windys are very similar. Mine didn't last that long though, but I could have been unlucky. I don't like the padding on Fairtex, but I know that is also preference. My Top King were also good, but the velcro gave up before the rest of the glove. Sad.

my windys outlasted my Twins actually, and i bought them a few months before. the velcro on the windys is my only complaint because it didn’t hold up. my twins both ripped around the bottom of the thumb right below that leather band that connects the thumb to the palm area. that was my issue with fairtex too though, the padding was stiff and lack of a grip bar felt weird for me. they honestly hurt my hands because the hand compartment had no room to move, which was something i appreciated with windy and twins i’ve been looking at too long since twins became basically impossible to find in the states, might make them my next glove and see how it goes

Robb1821i

My fairtex feel a bit hard when sparring and cover like half my forearm. Twins would be better for sparring no? I prefer to be hit by them then say hyabusa.

Complete_Athlete_480

If you go on Nak Muay Wholesale they redirect you to twinspecialgloves.com. I do not know if it’s real twins sold there though.

I don't have experience with a wide variety of gloves but I love my Hayabusa T3's.

T4nTV

Do you notice any strong odor from them?

Riot_child96

Boons all day

AppleSalty2916

Twins almost exclusively for nearly 15 years now. Windy a close second for me however I’ve found (in the one pair I’ve had) the Velcro doesn’t last as long.

yokkao are the person favourites boons are a close second

Neither-Assignment16

Would love to get some twins or Boons but in my region (eastern europe) i only find sketchy 3rd party websites and the actual thai website. Anyone know if they deliver the gloves from thailand in a reasonable time to the region?

Twins all the way. A side note though, I don’t care how nice of a glove the Hayabusa T3 is because it is without a doubt the stinkiest glove. Every time I train with someone who uses them and I get a whiff of their glove, it’s horrendous.

T4nTV

Oh no I just bought some, do you think I could de-orderize them in any way?

thetaekwondokid

Honestly I’m just being harsh on them. But what I do is wipe my gloves with a lysol wipe inside and out after every class, then I stick some paper towels or those paper hand wipes that are in the washroom and let them absorb any moisture on the inside for about an hour. Then take those out and let them air dry. It sounds like a lot but it’s honestly not in practice once you start doing it regularly

T4nTV

That's 2 minutes of work for clean gloves, thanks for the tip I'll definitely be doing this
