Honestly I think we need stronger DI when being hit overall, since MVS does not have SDI. There are so many moves like Bugs nair that loop you because of weak DI.
To be fair with IG being IG I'm sure there are a ton of loops "on some characters." But yeah situations like this happen all over the game. Like all those double Superman clips.
Currently watching a stream where a Taz player is doing 0-90 consistently due to looping jab and neutral attack.
They rolled out a patch earlier patching this for Joker but seems like they need to fix it for a few more characters
Absolutely agree. Stronger DI, higher ending lag, less dodge cancellable moves and an actual priority system are four fundamental things I think MultiVersus desperately needs.
It's a bit sad that they take more than a month to nerfs those things, I'm really worried for the future... I paused the game for 10 days now, really waiting the "big patch" to see if they are going in the right way (for my taste I guess).
Taking a month to nerf something is a fine pace. Even the largest games on the market only get two balance patches a month. MVS' pace so far has been wild in the grand scheme.
I'm sorry but they did a patch to remove TWO frames of the side B of Banana guard for exemple, do you understand how much is two frames ? Nothing for something that is that long. If it's not to make fun of us I don't see what's the point. And 55-58% char vs 40% winrate char in a game that was designed and build for competitive... all of these make it a bit underwhelming.
We know for sure they CAN patch things "quickly", look what they did with IG (even if it's still not that balanced and probably a bad idea to implement giant char in a game like that).
And there is a lot more problems but yeah I can understand that they were pressed by WB or something to launch the game probably too early and I don't know if they really had to remake the whole game for U5 but so far it seems like a lot of money and time wasted, I'm maybe wrong and I would love to be wrong... we will see that in the long term I guess.
It’s so funny how the dodge text just pops up sometimes no matter if you dodge or not
Jesus Christ. Seriously nerf this shit
Naired at 30% at center stage? Believe it or not, straight to the blastzone.
Bugs Bunny up air moment

Hard agree. Harley also has a nasty air loop that can catch you regardless of DI on some characters.

I think almost every character has some form of loop. Heck, Harley still has one of her Forward Air loops from the beta.

I quite like this proposal. Would future proof cheesy combos
You can 100% DI out of bugs nair loops currently.
Crash Bandicoot be like
I'm so with you on that they need to nerf this ASAP. I pair with bugs players who do this and think they're the best thing since slice bread.
His safe needs to be nerfed too. 0-100 in 2 attacks is insanely stupid
Yep
This is why we need attack decay to also affect knock back and stuns
I always give up when I see this. I mean, wtf can I do? There's no cooldown and It gets you even when you dodge

No, see, they took the game offline for a year to make stuff like this better....
Dodged into bugs?
just DI or parry, of course he would follow with up air it’s not true. smh
Funny cuz it was nerfed in the beta. You were stuck in one place. Plus the aggressive anti spam in the beta. There is so much spam now.
I knew the dodge button was useless.

All good bro, this sub has no idea what sarcasm is lol
Screw you dude! Acting like you don’t see how broken that is!
What are you talking about? The game is just being lore accurate.
Then Jason should be able to kill him like nothing, since he's overpowered in the comics.
