Same, and I didn’t even finish it. After realizing how slow the progress is too I’m not purchasing any passes until the end of the season at this point.
Also spent on a Bugs announcer pack. If I spend on anything else it’ll be another pack.
The progress is doubled now and tiers don't scale, every tier is 1000 XP and it's twice as easy to reach. Every tier now is the equivilant of tier 5 of the preseason pass. It'll be so incredibly easy to reach the end of this pass within the time we have, I promise
Yeah, haven't played a super crazy amount and I'm at level 15, that's almost a third and we still got PLENTY of time. I'm almost worried that I'll lose some motivation to play down the line cuz I'll finish and have nothing to make progress on for over a month.

Yea I expected no gleamium in the pre season pass but to not have it in the season 1 pass took everyone by surprise. Especially since that’s the standard in almost every game that implemented the battle pass system so far. I’m happy with the pre season pass but the season 1 pass just didn’t have enough for me to warrant getting just that pass knowing if I like next season’s pass, I’m gonna have to buy it again
But they at least allow you the choice to decide if it's worth it to you. They've got a sucker in me tho tbh, because I will happily throw money into anything involving Harley Quinn

I don’t spend money on F2P games unless you get a advantage or difference in the game of some sort like a character that’s why I am leaning towards maybe getting the founders pack for the character tokens and gleamium
For me,if the advantage is just some minor cosmetics or some cool stuffs I’ll just skip it,but if the advantage is those P2W shits like VIP tiers I’ll just leave and give up the game cause I don’t like it

Compared to other fighter games with their DLC, the price per character when JUST considering the $100 value for 30 characters is better than most other fighter games. I could spend time grinding the characters, or I can buy this as if it was a full-priced fighting game being released. That's how I see it.
New to fighting games? Not every fighter has insane rosters like MvC or Smash Bros, especially starting off. In fact, I'd rather have a tighter roster that's well-balanced than a game with a crazy roster right off the bat.

The pre-season pass and season 1 pass are well worth it.
If a game were to go on the market as a premium luxury brand like you are hypothesizing then those who are willing and able to play the game at that price point would decide if the product can sustain itself or if it fails.

Compared to other fighter games with their DLC, the price per character when JUST considering the $100 value for 30 characters is better than most other fighter games. I could spend time grinding the characters, or I can buy this as if it was a full-priced fighting game being released. That's how I see it.

I have NEVER spent money on online games like this. It feels dirty but also satisfying because they're my favorite cartoon animations of all time

I don't spend money on free to play games. That's why I look down on all the people that complain aboout a free to play game being too predatory. If it's pay to win, you shouldn't play it in the first place. If they get their income with skins and you are buying too many and are now angry about it, then sucks for you for not having self restraint. No sympathy from me.
I only purchased 500 gleamium whatever that adds up to...I dont purchase much In games. But however this game has some cool cosmetics. The banners and fx and announcer packs and no pay 2 win elements so far is pretty sweet. Like no stupid loot boxes. Ill probably spend money on a future finn or iron giant skin. Im avoiding the BP....don't care much for bugs. No hate for the bugs. I missed out on getting the finn skin but when they add the shop he will be in there. Unless they categorize it as an "exclusive" skin lol

Both season passes and I'm licking my lips whenever I look at the spooky space kook ringout. It's funny, if the in game purchases were cheaper I would have probably already spent $25, but at $15 a pop it's hard to justify purchasing anything.
I got the pack that I think was $20, has more character unlocks than I'll probably ever use and that was really all I cared about.
So far it feels like a $20 game for me in terms of value and playtime, so I was fine with it.
