Clannad Afterstory is so good that it's a cliche to say that it completely changed how you see the world. That's a wild thing to say about anything much less a TV show and Afterstory found a way to make that a completely believable, understandable reaction. It's an incredible show.
Code Geass R2 is still my favorite show ever even after 15+ years of watching anime. So Iāll choose that. But Mob & 3 Gatsu are close second places, and both be objectively better. Just on a personal level nothing can ever beat CGās second season for me.
Unpopular opinion: While Iād like season 2, I actually enjoyed season 1 of Vinland much more.
I loved the adventure aspect and how fascinating Askelad was as an anti-hero/antagonist. Also, because it had Thorkell lol.
3gatsu without question. It truly wraps up the showās point of self-reflection and personal human studies as well as Reiās growth and chemistry with any of the cast.
While not mentioned, I might as well give 86 a shoutout too. Similarly, it really concludes war-drama, human trauma, and the duo between Shin and Lena extremely well.
K-on, as 1st season is more funny, 2nd take it more seriously as girls know that they their graduation is soon, so the 2nd half of the 2 season really worth to watch all anime

Demon Slayer: The Red Light District is better as a whole
A major part of the villains plan get revealed. The major villains make an appearance and their incredibly coordinated plan actually succeeds after a massive character moment for Gojo. And now because of it, the stakes are so much higher. Many major characters make an appearance. Yuji has a major character moment because of it and questions his entire philosophy and what heās even fighting for. Todo has a major character moment. Megumi has a major character moment. Jogo has a major character moment. Choso has a major character moment. Even Miwa has a major character moment. And I havenāt even talked about Nobara or Nanami. Yuji resolves and reaffirms himself at the end of Season 2. Ends on major cliffhanger reintroducing a very major character setting up perfectly for Season 3. The entire story of Jujutsu Kaisen builds up to the second half of season 2. It is easily the most significant part of Jujutsu Kaisen as a whole so yeah, horrendous take.
