Congrats, OP! Do you have your original results for comparison?
You are the second out of 3 people who have an update and loaded their DNA in 2018. I looks like there is a particular order in which this update is being rolled out.
Not exactly. Lots of British people have Breton ancestry, but Breton is its own ethnic group. It’s one of the 6 Celtic tribes/nations (along with Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Isle of Man, and Cornwall.)
Probably a dumb question, but is there a detailed estimate for each genetic group or just some? I’m middle eastern and north african, so I was wondering if I’d get any new update myself?
I had this when I opened the app. This is my oldest upload. My other uploads from last year also say coming soon. I am assuming it will be rolled out to everyone by the end of June.
There's a Breton category now? That's really interesting
Breton is from La Bretagne France?
Gosh what Dutch and Breton wtf omg YES. Can't wait to hear the music they added

OMG BRETON?!?! 😭😭😭😭 I cannot wait for my results lol EDIT: did you lose any of your older genetic groups? Or just gain new ones?
Mine are the same from before.
I wish mine were, because they were accurate. Mine are woeful, hence I have restored my previous results.
Is Breton the same as British ??

Can someone click on all regions and show all regions that are new? My results are not yet updated and I can only see the old regions.
I can try to do this when I get off of work. It’s going to be difficult to do it with my phone.
thank you!
>thank you! You're welcome!

It looks like there are some updates for north africa and the middle east. I will post a list of the categories when I get a chance.

How long did it take? I have the “coming soon” notice on my ethnicity estimate and to check back soon.

Did you get an email notifying you it had been updated or do we have to just keep logging in to check?
I did not get an email.
If the update is so much better then why isn’t there no genetic community for English. and Scottish, Welsh.
I have deep roots in America.
Exactly my thoughts!!!!
I hate mh I still didn’t get my update
