Idk what a sherm head is. Aren't they $79.99 on release? Also 450K VC is $133.49. So even if it is $99, still more expensive than the base game by 133%+. Anyways, not sure what you're even going back and forth about. The shit is dumb.
Honestly I think it could be the best build system if they let you pick what you upgrade first like in the newer systems. A lot of people forget that you could make fun builds but they’d only get key attribute upgrades late into their overalls which meant you’d have to really grind to make them work.
You describing this reminds me of 2K20 and I really miss that build system. The fact we couldn’t choose our upgrade AND had to re-earn rewards when we made a new build is insane. Still better than 2k21 though
2k20 underrated builder i had [some fire builds](https://www.reddit.com/r/NBA2k/comments/kiqbgm/sometimes_i_miss_2k20/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
yea that sounds good. 2k19 mixed with some of 20 and 23 builder. i just want something more balanced and allows all builds to be unique and good like in 20
Omg I made a max height pg, passing And post scoring build and it was so fuckin legit. I loved that game, still my favorite.
BUT it pisses me off that I can't play the mycareer anymore! I can't even have proper nostalgia for the game because it just makes me angry that I can't ever have that experience again
I loved this 2k. Made a pure point, a post scoring shot creator(Kobe build), and a stretch slasher. Builds felt very varied and it was super enjoyable to have different matchups every game.
It made people play to their strengths and learn what they can do and what they can’t do based on their build. Now everyone thinks they can do it all when they aren’t good at the game to put it bluntly. Just because you have more freedom with the builder now doesn’t mean it’s made the game better. Gameplay has gotten worse and teammates selling is at an all time high this year.
The selling is a community issue. The game is fine. For some reason randoms have 0 court vision and the most toxic mentality. I have never been more frustrated with teammates than this year. With That said, I still play. So that goes to show how good the gameplay is.
lol bro the good ol days where they didnt even tell u what the actual number stat for the attribute was, u just assume its good because its almost maxed
You had to navigate over every attribute specific to see actual number on your build, but you could not see other people exact attributes i think.
But the grind was insane you could hit 99 by only playing career and become legend.
Build variety has gone out the window.
I like the idea of SuperStar Role-Players, because you can be both.
Now everyone is a “super star” and can do everything, it doesn’t teach you how to play your build to maximize its strengths.
Didn't play 18, but park in 2k20 was same like in 2k19 and a lot of stuf, you have post above this some guy who hit legend 99 and icons are the same like in 2k19. Universally accepted is that 2k18 was worst 2k of all time, and 2k19 is generally liked so at least game play was different.
Yeah I was referring to the icon and attribute screen. Visually I thought 2k18 looked like that. You’re definitely right about the gameplay tho. 2k19 was really good and 18 was horrible.
This builder was alright. Upgrade system sucked. Forced you play on one build all the time. Beyond tedious. Random upgrades were garbage. Played so much and never even made it to 99 on my build. Was at 98. Nah man this wasn’t it. I rather be able to have fun on multiple builds and be able to upgrade them in a reasonable time. You guys love to live in nostalgia.
when leveling up didn’t cost the same as the base game itself
3x times as much and like 40 hours of grinding the game out to get cap breakers
Getting to 99 is around 450K VC, just FYI. 200K is $50.00
fyi the game is $100 in canada
It’s $30 in Canada.
not on release date, or new consoles. don’t be a sherm head

Canada L
underrated 2k
Imo I got it 3rd right under 16 & 17
one of the best build systems. needs to go back to this
My build was not meta but 94 unlocked lock and play take, I ruined so many playshots day.
nasty do you remember what your 3 ball was
70 and i was shooting it nice once i got good
sounds fun as hell

FIRE. Stretch playmakers were super underrated imo

yep now we just face inside out scorer but at different heights
They didn't even let you pick
That 2K attribute upgrade system was trash shit was to random

My favorite 2k. Made a Pure Athletic Finisher center and it could shoot consistent from 3.

Pretty sure this is a screenshot from 2k18. The road to 99

My bad. I stand corrected. Looks awfully similar. Wonder if that was a copy-paste job from 2k18->19. Or maybe I’m just trippin
