Crazy thing is that I noticed you can't skip it till 5 seconds goes by in my career. In other game modes however, you can skip it pretty much immediately.
But it’s only in mycareer for some reason, if you’re playing MyNBA you can skip timeouts almost immediately as well as all the pre-game and halftime show stuff
Simply due to 80% of the community only playing my career, I thought MyTeam was the same way but haven't played 2k since 21. No one wants to pay premium value which im sure 2k hits em with the 20% of our players play other game modes, but you could have a chance to reach the other 80% bleh bleh bleh. I'm sure no one has even thought about ads in 2k other then MyCareer.
I hate how much 2k waste your time in games. After winning a game or losing we dont need a fucking cutscene that takes 60+ seconds breaking down your gameplay. They can explain all of that OUTSIDE of a cutscene or using a game history tab. Instead i have to wait 60 seconds everytime a park game ends cause im on shitty PC and thats all we got. Rec is dead so im stuck with games up to 21 and 60 second intermissions between them

i don’t really play park ever, but that was honestly a huge deterrent and just lack of courts. that sounds dumb but i mean like immediately open courts for you to play. a lot of park to me whenever i played was a lot of waiting then a lot of 2k BS and lag whenever i did play lol nothing like real basketball. if all the 2s are filled in one area by sweats that are on 20 game streaks i dont want to go all over the city to find a court, they should just do lobbies or something quick that you load into not queue and wait until one game ends so all those animations can end then startup game animations take forever and so on and so forth. ik it was bad when on next gen you only had to wait 3 seconds to close a timeout and last gen was a lot longer, i forget exact numbers but just that principle to me was insane how they can literally force us to wait. just like how every time i load up 23 i am forced to closed back to back ads to buy 24 EVERY SINGLE TIME I PLAY 23. they’re just blatantly money hungry and it won’t stop bc they have been feeding for so long

I can't stand this game anymore (for years already). So many boring and ugly cutscenes you can't really skip, loading screens, pointless trips in the awful city... This game is such a waste of time. And all that takes 180GB... for a basketball game.

I’m convinced 2K leaves all this fluffy “immersion” shit in like timeouts, dance performances, basically anything that triggers a cutscene to waste our time. I’m certain I could easily save over 5 mins each game if the cutscene skips actually happened instantly rather then triggering other animations that still take up time. Furthermore, the opposing coach only ever calls timeouts whenever you’re on the court.

I can accept the weird glitch where you clip to each other and semi moonwalk up the court, I can even accept buggy animations which lead to someone dribbling directly through another player (and I mean the ball going through their entire body not a bulldozer animation or anything), but please can 2K stop wasting our time with BS cutscenes. If you change your language setting to something other than English it skips it, and shows a shorter stats screen. It's not much, but it's what I do
