MyLeague with a created player Player Lock is the best way to play MyCareer IMO (2k22).
Sometimes I don't do player lock and just roll with it as a typical MyLeague because I like the control
I liked MyCareer a lot better when it actually had a story, EX high school —> G league or College —> NBA, now the story is practically nonexistent. Now MyNBA/Myleague takes the cake as the best game mode for me.
Turn the cap all the way up and the inflation all the way up, whenever you enter the off season check the rule changes and completely replace any that impact contracts or cap space.

Rebuilding teams in my league, customizing the nba (expansion, relocation, fantasy draft, etc), or playing with college rosters, euro league rosters
I wanna love MyEras, but the team budgets not increasing through the years is brutal.

If my connection wasn’t trash It’d be my team and 5 on 5 because of versatility. But I mainly play rec.
