The notches in the adapter and the look of it is more aesthetically pleasing when installed on a suppressor than the normal atlas adapter

I liked the looks of the atlas r but man is it a good little chunk of metal. I sold it and opted for an atlas ti for the sake of weight. Are there plans to make the r in titanium

It is made in titanium - it’s not my product so I don’t control pretty much anything on it other than the tolerances. Just curious as to what some people like about it.

I did not think that was a full Aero build. I was sure you had a HB handguard. Nice! I like the donut or ACSS; so, a PA MD-25 or Cyclops if you want to save 💰 or an EOTech 512 for a little more unless you need the EXPS-3.

I have or have owned MD-25 ACSS red dot, 2x Cyclops 1x prisms, 2.5x prism (great for carry handle builds), GLx 1-6 ACSS, PLx 1-8 M8 ACSS Raptor, and 2x LER 3x magnifiers. I had a screw strip out on my 2.5x, and they sent me a brand new replacement. Love doing business with PA!

Haha it’s just luck sometimes how the threads and how many shims line up the timing. But generally you want a .75” diff in barrel to HG to get minimal gap with SF MDs and SF Suppressors/warden

I have a Nomad on a 10.5” BA barrel with an Aero 9” (slightly over 9” I think) handguard and it’s a nice gap but not quite as nice as OP’s

Pre built is great if you just want it now. I did the internet hunt and peck for a year and found discounted parts.

Even at msrp you’re saving a good bit and you can buy everything at once and assemble it on your kitchen table in 15 mins.

That Kodiak brown finish is so goddam sexy. If I wasn’t already in the middle of a different build when they implemented the AWB in my state I would’ve picked up another lower.

I’m in Seattle and I bought to complete sets right before our AWB. Next up is a 10.3 5.56

Yea, the good news is that we can still get the other parts but I only snagged one lower beforehand. I’m thinking of doing a 10/22 for shits and giggles though.

Rainier Arms won’t sell locals barrels anymore. I have found stores that won’t sell any “assault weapon” parts because the law is so vague. Sucks.

I bought 4 barrels beforehand. I have seen a lot of shops with different random parts though. Handguards, triggers, etc. I also asked my local shop if they could get gas tubes and blocks so I should be covered on that front. I’m an idiot and forgot to get buffer weights and springs though so I’ll have to ask around about those. I’m just hoping they work this shit out in the courts in the next few years. Absolutely insane we’re dealing with this. Not to mention the WSP being able to access sealed records now too.

Or just buy it in Idaho or Oregon. Barrels are not illegal so it’s batshit that stores are afraid to sell them. But I can see their concern.
