Undertaker makes more sense. He lost to Roman at WM. Roman then came out and said the ring was his yard now (the following night). Taker has always been considered the behind the scenes judge, making sure justice is served. And finally, that's his yard (not Roman's), and he was tired of the bull shit.
All true but Austin makes more sense as the one to stop The Rock. Just like they had Cena come out to stop Solo as revenge for Cena losing to Solo a few months ago, Stone Cold being the one to come out and stop The Rock from continuing to interfere would have made more sense since they had a way bigger feud back in the day.
I think both would have worked.There were a good number of videos posted after this that showed the rivalry between Taker and Rock. Including one of the Rock costing Taker the HC title. People just remember Austin/Rock more.
