Titans going OL again? Three drafts in a row. Give you respect for doing this. I don’t know 3/4 of these players.

fierylady

I admit part of that is I think Latham is a RT and this will allow them to move him to his natural position. But I know the Titans brass thinks differently and it's hard to disagree with Callahan the elder. It's just what I would do.

PwnzillaGorilla

Interesting you'd give us Egbuka. I take it you think Allen is gone after this season?

fierylady

I do, and I think you guys will want Caleb to continue to have weapons. Helps that you've got 3 picks in the first 2 rounds.

PwnzillaGorilla

Makes total sense. Personally I'm hoping for more than a 1-year rental with Allen but getting Egbuka to fill that void would be NICE

fierylady

I just don't have a lot of faith in older receivers. Allen's the type of guy who probably keeps it going longer than most since his game isn't predicated on athleticism, but I still think he'd be something of an outlier overall. And at least for mocks I try not to bet on outliers too often.

LucKy_Mango1

For what it's worth, Panthers should have the Rams 2nd next year

fierylady

Well shit. I tried to choose one of the sims that had it right - some of them are just terrible right now re: traded picks - but it seems I've failed.

LucKy_Mango1

Yeah lots of mock draft simulators are iffy right now. Ive seen some that have Emeka Egbuka going 10 or 11 overall above Tetairoa AND Burden which is absurd imo

fierylady

Crazy

watchingsuits

You Dont see Quinn ewers being an early pick? Where do you see him getting drafted?

fierylady

I am not a fan of Ewers personally, though I know some are (and I've been wrong enough on the QBs enough times to know I could easily be wrong again lol). Personally I've got him in that Mason Rudolph, Foles, Cousins, Barkley, Garoppolo, Connor Cook, Lauletta, Will Grier, Kyle Track tier of QB grade-wise, and those guys were all late 2nd-early 4th rounders, so that's about where I have Ewers too. He's not an easy eval because it's easy to love a lot of the stuff he does mentally. Like, he's more advanced than most prospects which is a breath of fresh air to watch. However I think his accuracy is really scattershot - his footwork and body positioning are all over the place - and his arm is borderline weak. Probably not TOO weak to be an NFL QB, but on the very low end. Maybe that improves as he gets his upper and lower body in sync, I don't know, but right now I'd be worried a single injury could send him down the Chad Pennington road.

Perkins does not have a position in Nielsen's defense. Too small to play end and not good enough in coverage to be a LB.

fierylady

I know, same problem LSU staff has with him. Perkins is the toughest guy to slot, he could go mid-first or fall all the way to day 3. But I also have a lot of faith in Blake Baker to get the best out of him, and if you get the best out of a guy THIS explosive, it's hard not to see him being coveted. The Saints also drafted Baun for Nielsen's defense, so he must have at one point at least thought he could get something out of a similar player.

LionWinz

Bro has Lions going TE in the first. Lol

reddogrjw

I hope the Lions trade up for Mason Graham if he's still there in the middle of round 1

fierylady

I REALLY want one of the great DTs in this class (Walker is my personal fave), but it's also very deep, so if one of the studs doesn't fall in range, waiting is a viable option.

fierylady

BPA situation, just like the Raiders taking Bowers. Really wanted to go WR but nothing wrong with two badass TEs, especially considering how much we like to run the ball. And Loveland's a great blocker, as you expect of someone from Michigan.

LionWinz

Nah it’s a shit pick Lions aren’t taking a TE in the first round next year be real. Lmfao

fierylady

Fair enough. I don't think we will either, but I disagree that it's not possible.
