Yeah I mean you can do that without it. It was harder to score backhands without it in prior games. You’re also not going to take as many backhanders (in general) during the course of the game (especially if you’re further away) so it’ll significantly loose the minimal ability it has the further out you are (unlike Heatseeker, schnipe, seeing eye and make it snappy). If you’re close enough to use backhand beauty, you’re better off with close quarters.

The back hand is faster in nhl 24 than forehand so going to backhand is better than going to forehand.

That’s fine. The backhand being faster is even more reason not to use it cause you can score easily without it. You’d be better off using/activating pretty much every other trait then wasting points or a trait slot on beauty backhand.
As a gold your right, because it also costs so little to add. A player with gold beauty backhand and silver close quarters is a monster anywhere around the net. It sucks that Crosby didn't have the gold version this year and had the stupid train.
Wow not to me. I always try to put unstoppable force on all my offensive players, first and foremost. Then I go with Elite Edges or Make it Snappy. For Defenders, Shutdown is number 1, 2 and 3!!

Severely underrated.
I get a lot of tipped-in goals or goalie screened goals when there’s traffic in front of the net, almost all the goals I’ve scored with Makar are wristers from the blue line just because of how good gold heatseeker is.
I remember playing ones with Crosby in the older NHL's and beauty backhand was next level. Basically a goal everytime. I can't believe his xfactor didn't have the gold ability in 24.
What game? Cause in 24 you can score on the reg without it.
24 I know that you can score without it but you can do so much with the zone ability. You can literally score every backhand its op
