suposedly it's relaxing for some people and increase focus and its beneficial for skin, brain and etc because it improves blood flow to certain areas.. i thought it could help me sometimes.
Ive tried it a couple of times. Isn’t relaxing for me, makes my skin glow up for a day or so. I think any of these intense quick fixes don’t do much compared to dietary and lifestyle changes
Yea I hear you, the capsules I bought were 500mg and I took 3, I didn’t realize it was gonna be like that. Since that day I’ve taken niacin pretty much daily, it’s been really good to me.
It’s difficult to get pure nicotinic acid. Often they’ll say ‘niacin’ on the ingredients and or NDE:
In niacin (nicotinic acid) labeling, NDE can also refer to "Niacinamide and Derivatives of Ester." This definition is significant as it indicates that the labeled product may not be pure nicotinic acid but instead could be niacinamide (nicotinamide) or other related compounds, including derivatives such as inositol hexanicotinate.
Each time you take nicotinic acid, it is a different reaction. In the beginning, if you do not flush it can mean that you are deficient. Keep increasing your dose. There is an awesome book that explains everything about niacin. It is called Niacin: The Real Story 2nd Edition.
Is this whole flush thing actually beneficial?

My first time I took 1,500 mg, I had a very intense flush, I liked it but I don’t recommend to anyone
i heard people flush from 100mg so i bought 100mg capsules because i always try with the least amount possible.

Some niacin products are flush less though really less effective
but it says "nicotinic acid". This one should flush

I’ve read enough of the references posted by Dmitry Katz to realize it’s the pure nicotinic acid that is the one to take.
Maybe your gut is good? According to a biologist you take butyrate with flush niacin in certain amounts so you won’t get the flush.
U take it a lone ?
No, with food
Try taking it in empty stomach and some supplements or drugs can interfere with it . Pace from Arabia 🦁👋

I take the Rugby brand, and I flush like crazy, and love it.
Ok ill keep taking. I wish i could flush sometimes
Oh you will!! I take 2-3 grams a day, and sometimes I flush, and sometimes I don’t. It is awesome when it goes nuclear! I quite enjoy it!
Try and eat something 20 minutes afterward. Some times that will trigger a flush.
