Reminder that the ONLY reason why everybody had to get slaughtered by Nappa, which led to the entire Namek saga, was that Kaioh (over the several months that he trained Goku) forgot the time it would take for Goku to travel back to Earth.
King Kai forgetting time worked out in his favor at the end
Since it lead to Goku being strong enough to train himself and Gohan in Cell saga to beat Androids created by Gero which later lead to his death and SSJ3 which lead to Buu defeat
It works out in his favor at the end since he becomes stronger than ever for new threat.
Butterfly effect
This is a common trend in Dragon Ball what-if'ing where trying to fix a certain circumstance ends up making everything go to shit later... it's probably because of how good Toriyama was at making arcs connect to each other.
Yeah, exactly. The DB arcs flow so fucking well, even in early DB it was pretty good. The only weird one iirc was the transition from the first and second arcs, Goku was just like "Um, well ok, I'm gonna go train with that old guy now, see ya!"
Not really.
Goku was offered by Master Roshi to train him because they met Ox-King and Chi-Chi which indirectly lead to Roshi learning about Goku being Gohan grandson and his potential.
Yeah, I almost mentioned that, toriyama def planted the seed there, but its definitely not the flawless transition we see like in the Saiyan to namek sagas for example. Did Goku have a solid reason to train with Roshi at that point? I don't really remember, but I don't feel like he had any super crazy shit, I remember it being like he just kinda wanted to do it combined with not having much to do after the first arc.
Goku wanted to be trained by Master Roshi because Grandpa Gohan was trained by him. He described it as a great honor to be trained by his grandfather’s same mentor.
Eh idk, like if Goku was already there when the Saiyans arrived, nappa is a non factor most likely. And then it's like 6 people at full power vs Vegeta. The humans won't be able to do much against full power Vegeta, but Goku would wear him down to their level like in the actual series, especially with piccolo being significantly stronger than the humans, even if he's not on the same level as nappa. Like think of the end of the Vegeta fight, where Gohan and Krillin are actual genuine threats to Vegeta. Now add piccolo there and it's over
Also, Vegeta never wanted to kill Piccolo because of Dragon Ball
Piccolo got killed saving Gohan
Also, Piccolo is stronger than humans and Gohan too with power of 3500. He is least likely to die
Your entire reasoning is based on Kai not forgetting time leading to Goku friends not dying.
If they still die, then it makes the story case same and changes no narrative
He did in the BOG movie where he wasn’t even actually late, it was revealed that goku was watching the whole time the gang were getting pummeled by Beerus.
It works out for good at the end.
If he was not late during Saiyan saga, then there would be Immortal Frieza and Android easily taking over the world since Goku would be too weak without SSJ.
He’s gotta be doing this shit on purpose at this point
Probably wants Krillin to die again to unlock a new transformation
If beeruss halals krillin think of the next power boost goku will get
Nvm halaling krillin…what if he HARAMED HIM?!?! 😲😲😲😲😲
what if krillin got haramed and locked away in the time chamber?
Stop you’re going to make me goon 🥴
Then Goku need to wash his hand 7 times
Krillin purpose in story is being used for Goku power boost First with Demon King Piccolo and then Frieza.
Unfortunately humans in db are doomed to this fate. Bulma did everything for the z team and bog treated her as a plot device
Hakais\*\*
in challah
Halal krillin?
Unlimited transformation glitch

If he got there before anyone died, no one would've gone to namek, right? So Freizar becomes immortal.

They'd still have to fight Vegeta and there's no guarantee Piccolo survives that

Ahhh true. Vegeta would've gotten smoked

He has a habit of showing up late to his children's births (laughed at goten
If goku had a watch it would only have 4 hours: Goku Time Classic, Goku Time Z, Goku Time Super, Goku Time
It's always gokus time
"A habit? Last time Yamcha, Tien, Chaozu & Piccolo died because you were late!" "Oh you had to bring that up, I was dead"
That was Nappa and Vegeta being early bird. They arrived in 11 months instead of 1 year
"Hey Vegeta look, we're early!"
Two constants in these panels. Goku is always late and krillin is always holding it down despite being above his pay grade.
“Kept you waiting, huh?” -Snake Goku
“Stupid looking watch you got there.” “Yes, it tells time. And nothing else.”
"Yeah that's what a watch does, dumbass"
This panel right here Just gives me Z vibes
Moro arc is kind of Namek saga redo
Yeah it’s peak db Need that animated
Cell saga copy ending
Goku fight scenes are more of a Namek saga redo. Overall arc is mixture of Saiyan+ Namek+ Cell saga
