Bud get a grip and maybe do a google search, this is a fake story that's been floating around for about 5 years. Why would you go straight to the assumption that animal protection agencies are just fucking about?
I get baffled by the hate specifically for animal rights people, like everyone loves dogs and cats, but doing something nice for a cow or a chicken is seen as sacrilege in their eyes sometimes.
That’s do to the intolerance…and hate…people can’t tolerate those with a differing opinion…take for instance a sports team, some can’t tolerate someone else whose a fan of an opposing team during competition. Once a competition has ended and a successor has been declared, some fans engage in intolerance and hate and will taunt and belittle fellow humans even going so far as just killing the other fan..:intolerance and hate. Yes it is baffling.
This really annoys the hell out of me, I assume these organizations have experts, they couldn't differentiate between the two species? As a layman, just looking at the head profiles you can tell they're completely different
I mean honestly it just takes a matter of actually paying attention rather than just glancing at it because why the fuck with a polar bear be in the middle of the North American Forest? Like I understand polar bears get up to some quite nefarious activities but it wouldn't want to pop up in the middle before it
Disagree. You think *this* is a common sense non-story? It's certainly believable, if people were saying in this thread that it *was* a true story then I'd believe it too, it's perfectly plausible that experts can make stupid mistakes
Turns out its a mute midget, after escaping facility, it began its sprint, passersby saw the kid and immediately report it, being mistaken again, it was sent to an adoption center....
That sounds like an SNL skit . (Billy and Jane don’t know why these people are moving them to the Arctic “We just wanna to go home”! says Billy with tears streaming down his face ) 🤣🤣🤣
These are all different bears in these clips. I'm not buying it. Sending a bear across the sea to a different continent costs thousands of dollars and he doesn't even actually look like a polar bear besides being light coloured.
If this was real… then the bear is actually pretty lucky. He got to travel and see the world and got really good drugs for free a few times. Now he’s famous and one of the most well traveled bears in the world. You say poor Joey. I say poor us.
For all those taking this too seriously, it's satire/fake. For one, the "albino" bear shown in the video is clearly a "spirit bear". This basically a blonde grizzly, and they are well known and have a fairly specific range. There's no way bear researchers would mistake it for a polar bear and if they did, they would immediately realize their mistake once the bear was sedated due to the many differences between brown and polar bears, perhaps the most obvious being the shape of the head. If you rewatch the video, you can see this difference in head shape. The researchers also would have tagged the bear. Makes for a fun story though.
For all those not taking this too seriously, it's true. For one, the "albino" bear shown in the video is clearly a bear. This is basically a bear and they are well known and have a fairly specific range. There's no way bear researchers would not mistake it for a polar bear and they did, they would not immediately realize their mistake once the bear was sedated due to no differences between brown and polar bears, perhaps the most obvious being the bear. If you rewatch the video, you can see the bear. The researchers also would have tagged the researchers. Makes for a sad story though.
Putting aside the fact that there are different bears in the video. The bear is not albino. Albino refers to a total lack of pigmentation (including the eyes resulting in the characteristic red iris). The bear is **leucistic**, only partially lacking pigmentation.
This is amazing and I hope it’s true. What a TIL and testament to both the human spirit and the adage about the path to hell being paved with good intentions. Hope you doing well Joey

Spirit bears are very much known about. Native cultures have specific mythology surrounding them in that they believe they were placed here (Pacific Northwest) to serve as a reminder to be thankful of the beautiful and bountiful landscape. In all that I meant this story is fake, the bear told me
Blatantly fake story. He would have been tagged/chipped straight away. This is propaganda designed to negatively depict wildlife organizations. And quite effective judging from the comments. There’s an angry sucker born every minute!

Jesus christ tag the poor fella
But the anatomy is different. Easy to see that.
this shows the level of professionalism of the animal protection organization
Activists are notable for their compassion and little else.
Two of them
Bud get a grip and maybe do a google search, this is a fake story that's been floating around for about 5 years. Why would you go straight to the assumption that animal protection agencies are just fucking about?
Because gullibility and hate…mostly hate…people love to hate…and they love to point fingers at others with their hate….this is what they love to do…

The story is fake, don't believe anything you see on the internet
“You can trust anything on the internet.” - Abraham Lincoln
Took the words out of my mouth
Damn poor Joey 😭😭
Alexa play Don't call me white by Nofx
I wasn’t brought here, I was born.
Circumcised, categorized, allegiance sworn
Does this mean I have to take such shit for being fair skinned? No!
The absolute dumbest researchers ever it seems.
This really annoys the hell out of me, I assume these organizations have experts, they couldn't differentiate between the two species? As a layman, just looking at the head profiles you can tell they're completely different
It's cus the video is fake
I mean honestly it just takes a matter of actually paying attention rather than just glancing at it because why the fuck with a polar bear be in the middle of the North American Forest? Are u stupid? Before you get mad, use your brain and figure out that this is a made-up story please
Disagree. You think *this* is a common sense non-story? It's certainly believable, if people were saying in this thread that it *was* a true story then I'd believe it too, it's perfectly plausible that experts can make stupid mistakes
It's very very obviously fake...
Animal protection agencies are not researchers. They are bleeding hearts with dunning kruger syndrome.
The researchers sound like most of Reddit commenting as 'experts' on nearly everything imaginable. Ie. Boston bombers.
Like, can't the first team like fucking tag him. So the next team will notice the tag?
It's all fake; none of this ever happened.
You would think the bear was tagged and identified after the first encounter.
Maybe because the whole story is very fake
Narrator: *But they didn’t*
I wish these wildlife organization would notice a homeless Homo sapiens child and give it shelter food education and love
Turns out its a mute midget, after escaping facility, it began its sprint, passersby saw the kid and immediately report it, being mistaken again, it was sent to an adoption center....
OR... send them to the Arctic.
That sounds like an SNL skit . (Billy and Jane don’t know why these people are moving them to the Arctic “We just wanna to go home”! says Billy with tears streaming down his face ) 🤣🤣🤣
Bah fuck the homo sapiens
Found my spirit animal...
Their named spirit bears
They are? Source? I'd love it if this is true!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spirit_bear
Thanks so much, good Redditor!
#TAG THE DAMN BEAR. Also, that bear travelled more than the average american
@whiteassbrownbear
Maybe they didn't because the story is clearly fake...
These are all different bears in these clips. I'm not buying it. Sending a bear across the sea to a different continent costs thousands of dollars and he doesn't even actually look like a polar bear besides being light coloured.
Crazy thought - what if the video is unrelated???
Crazier thought, try finding even a single source that isn't a meme or this tiktok
Any support that this story is true and not just clickbait?
Nope. Total bullshit. Polar bears and grizzlies look completely different in the body head and ears.
Plus, the white bear at the beginning is actually a black bear, not a grizzly, anyway.
If this was real… then the bear is actually pretty lucky. He got to travel and see the world and got really good drugs for free a few times. Now he’s famous and one of the most well traveled bears in the world. You say poor Joey. I say poor us.
Or we could spend this money on helping fuckin humans and not annoying some random bear?

Spirit Bears are black bears not grizzlies. There was a white grizzly at Yoho National Park, but it was killed last month. They're exceptionally rare.
Yep, whoops, however the non-polar bears pictured in the video are clearly spirit bears

Get rekt Joey holy shit

Video is fake as shit. Stupid tik tok cringe
He needs a wrist band: "I am albino. I am not a polar bear. Leave me the fuck alone."
I seen this show before. Man I can’t remember its name though?
wow, great "professionals". and no one thought to tag it?
It’s fake, this whole story is made up.
I met my spirit animal...
This sounds made up AF
I do appreciate the banjo and kazooie music in the background, though.
God damnit PETA
That vear has done more traveling than I ever have.
Aww poor Joey
Stupid humans.
Joey HATES humans now
People need to fuck off and leave that bear alone
„Experts“
Where is the starting animated bear from?
AI generated FB clickbait I dont know why people make these
That is how you get grolar bears lana. Do you want grolars?
Most proffesional animal protection organizations:
I can't find a single source that isn't a meme or a TikTok video on this story... Please people don't believe everything you see on the internet
Idiots who make idiot videos.
Poor fuckin joey, he just can't get a break.
“Oh God please no, not again….”
Spirit bears are very much known about. Native cultures have specific mythology surrounding them in that they believe they were placed here (Pacific Northwest) to serve as a reminder to be thankful of the beautiful and bountiful landscape. In all that I meant this story is fake, the bear told me
Those agencies are stupid or something, much like my high school thinking I'm Mexican when I am from South America
Unlucky bear or catastrophically idiotic humans?
This bear got abducted 5 times and woke up in a different location everyrime. No one will believe him.
Blatantly fake story. He would have been tagged/chipped straight away. This is propaganda designed to negatively depict wildlife organizations. And quite effective judging from the comments. There’s an angry sucker born every minute!
Oh those animal protectors
This should be a Pixar movie
People suck!
If this is true all those people should be imprisoned or at least put in the town square in the stocks.
Another AI narrated nonsense story. The only places I can find any mention are sites like 9GAG and the Daily Mail.
Yeah, we know what we're doing. And nobody thought of tagging his ass brown at any point. Really.
Stupid fucking people. Why don't we just leave everything the fuck alone
It's fake
