I would hope they are profitable. LIV pays the players salaries, not the team. They have 5 staff members and have expenses for 14 tournaments. I can’t remember how much teams make per tourney but it was a ton.
This feels like a kid sitting in a cardboard box saying he’s gonna fly this rocket ship to the moon.
Oh wow look at you buddy, that “team” is looking “profitable” already, great job!
Is he running the team or did he “buy” the team? Because if he bought it he’s a fucking moron
Edit: unless he got it cheap vs what they were claiming the teams would cost. If that’s the case they’re selling low initially to show promise and sell high later on
It’s so funny how these ppl shit on this but this guy was the former CEO of a major golf clothing company and he decided it was worth his while to take this job. Now they could be paying him a hefty amount but I highly doubt he’d do it if he knew there was no opportunity for growth.

"Adjusted EBITDA" to the rescue! Yeah they'll be profitable, if you just refuse to look at all the things that make them not so
Just ignore the players’ hundred million dollar salaries!
The article says on-course winnings are actually part of the team’s revenue lol
Doesn't the top team each week get millions for it. How much in expenses does a liv team have...

Pretty sure he’s ‘running the team’ on a multi-year contract
Nobody knows what the financials look like so why even comment on it?

TravisMathew is still one of the most successful apparel brands in golf…there’s probably a reason he’s the “former” CEO…
