Have a save point on a space station, fly out the system then fly back in to trigger the pirate battle, land on the freighter, scan it's rank then reset!
Yes you can, it'll disable the pirate fight itself, simply land on the freighter, use your Analysis visor on any wall in the docking bay and it'll tell you the class too
Is this new? When I was doing it couple of months back, ppl said I had to fight the pirates each time. Also wouldn't the freighter be on alert on not able to land during pirate attacks? If the pirates disappear, do you just talk to the captain and he gives it to you for free? Like, this works on the free one?
Hi. thx for the hint. Can you explain this in more detail? Do you mean land on the station during the pirate battle and make the save? Then leave the station?
So when you know your next warp or two is a guaranteed pirate attack, go to the system you want, create a manual and auto save on the space station or planet surface , then warp out of and back into the system. This will trigger the attack, ignore the pirates and fly onto the Freighter, hop out the ship and scan the walls of the Freighter to see its class, if it isn't the one you want simply reload your auto save and repeate the process!
I believe once you own a freighter, you have to meet 2 requirements for pirate battles to spawn in, warp 5 times and play for 3 hours, once those are met your next warp spawns in a freighter battle!
I believe that changed. I got my battle on my very first warp, and at the 90 minute mark.
Also, got my S class Juggernaught Sentinel as well! šš» Took me about 95 retries to get, but woohoo!
Yes but... When you exit your ship aboard the freighter in order to scan it to check the stats, that triggers the autosave too...no? So your autosave aboard the station just gets overwritten
Thank you for answering. I'll keep it in mind. On a side note, I'm really, really new to the game so... Would you mind telling me when is one "due a pirate invasion"? Please lol.
It says it doesn't, but mine certainly did. I was pretty pissed off. The only reason I upgraded was because I thought I wouldn't have to go through all that customization again, but nope.
Now I'm just running the essentials in a completely undecorated orange interior until I get my final freighter, cause I'm certainly not doing all that over again. It sucks cause it deletes all the parts you built inside, too. You don't even get the resources back for the rooms you previously built with this bug.
I got mine a while ago but heard from some YT channel that pre-desolation Freighters have much weaker hyperdrives. Honestly, considered going through this again but thought nah. It's so boring and I like the look of my current one.
Damn, I did like 80 resets and only 2 times A Class
Was about to give up and said next time A Class comes I'm sticking with it, got an S Class right after
It's actually not, slots are random, i saw a C with 34, an A with 25 and my S had 26.
The difference is in the bonuses for stats (hyperdrive range and fleet coordination)
A class goes from +40% to +60% in hyperdrive and from +20% to +40% in fleet coord.
S class from +60% to +80% in hyper and +40% to +60% in fleet coord.
At least that's the info on the wiki, although bonuses are random for each reroll, they stay within the bounds of the class.
Grats! Got my S class y-day too, same model :) Took me around 1,5h, not sure how many attempts (tho I recorded everything :D). The new method makes it so fast and easy. Now try to find a good method to farm salvaged frigate modules
sounds like you can now skip the battle and just land on the freighter.
Process used to be: 1. warp to system with pirate battle in progress, 2. land on space station to trigger autosave, 3. fight pirates, 4. land on freighter to check class, 5. reload autosave, 6. go to step 3
If we can skip step 3 and just land on the freighter that is really cool and should be much quicker when the RNG gods aren't with you. Mind you it will be a bit more boring without the pirate battle to provide some distraction.
- Don't have to fight the pirates anymore
- Outlaw systems have a whopping 5% chance for an S vs. a T3 system's 2%
Putting those together, if you have a design you're OK with in a pirate system, it's really quite fast (usually). P90 attempt count for 5% is 45 (9/10 times you'll see a 5% chance happen at least once within 45 tries) while 2% is 114. 114 attempts that took 2-3 minutes each was a horrible slog; 45 attempts that are each well under a minute much less so.
For the salvage modules, either go to a pirate system and pirate the shit out of it or find a good derelict freighter (lots of blue boxes) and use the glitch where you put your transponder in your suit refiner so you can reuse it.
It literally shows on the screen, 178 mil. My S-class yesterday was 178 too. If you already have some freighter (I had A-class) it will reduce the cost.
A max slot A-class lets you swap to a brand new S-class for free, if you settled for an A for the longest time like I did and are looking to finally upgrade.
As someone waiting for the new expedition to start before starting my first play through since i tried the game back at the beyond patch what is it you were trying to do?
I was reloading a save point until the Freighter in the screenshot rolled an S class, took around 6-7 hours but the dopamine from having that golden S badge makes it worth it to me!
Shhhhit man I spent like 4 hrs going to 3 star systems. And I was about to go to bed. And was like let me see that this 2star is about. And boom the on I wanted. Now do I sit here for like forever or just grab an āAā and try for a āSā later. I already spent another 2hrs reloading
Ugh. I'm at \~150 resets and don't think I can keep going. Plus the freighter I like has 8 attackers meaning each attempt takes fooooorreeeeeeevvvveeeeeerrrrrr...
You don't need to kill the pirates each time! I spawned on the space station, flew out then back into the system, triggered the attack but just flew straight into the freighter, scanned it and reloaded save if it wasn't S class. I don't know if this will work for your first ever Freighter but it certainly does for your 2nd.
Don't give up fellow space man

How do you have so much money but still not have taken the free freighter at this point? What did you do for all your money? Di you just ignore multiple free freighters or did you have this much money by your 10th system?
I had a B class freighter already, I've had 2 more before that one too, I use AI farms to make my money but I have been playing for a couple years on and off on this same save.
I don't even know why I hadn't considered this isn't the free one. I'm at the point where I'm about to farm for my first freighter so I just assumed lol. Looks like I need to look into AI farms when I get back on tho. But a high class freighter is my priority.
Spent 10 hours grinding for an s class freighter (star destroyer/venator) and finally got [this one](https://imgur.com/a/4UPFgeP) only to realize that not all venators are the same size and that I had unfortunately gotten the smallest variant. I thought I'd just make do because I spent so much time grinding for the S class.
But I couldn't help feeling dissatisfied, and before I knew it, I was grinding again, fully knowing that the odds of getting another S class is million to one.
Took me another 10 hours, but I finally got [my baby](https://imgur.com/a/wPjggg2)
I know the size variation is purely cosmetic, but that rush of dopamine I felt when I finally got my s class made the 20 hours totally worth it.
How do you have so much money!? Lol
I have like 200mil, but thatās only recently from pirating and ship scrapping (I had a fully maxed exotic, then I found a better exotic, so I made like $150mil on the old one, and now Iām scrapping again for storage mods. But my new exotic is sick, and Iāll do it again when I ever find a squid S
Is that like the pipelining thing? I started a greenhouse yesterday so I could make lube and other things to keep making stasis devices and whatnot. So far I have made 4
I took me 6 hours of resets to get my S class. This was before color customization was introduced...... And after it was it turned my beautiful red and white destroyer yellow..... I was having Elite Dangerous flashbacks.... Diamondback explorer...... The mellow yellow express
My very first freighter I encountered on my newest save game was A class. I just took my luck and ran lol.
Also, is there a system yet for increasing the class of your freighter? I know there is for starship and MT.
I have lost count of resets for the one Iām currently fly trying to get to S class š„“ itās either I get S class or I settle for max slots A class. Sanity? What sanity?
I had around this much resets too and i immediately gave up doing the battles at around the 5th reset because i would lose my sanity to keep doing those every time lol. Congrats on the S class! She looks beautiful.
Yeah I've had the best and worst luck with NMS, I got my S class solar ship in about 4 minutes from starting, took me well over a week to get other class S ships!
I do not have this ship but the Stardestroyer Class A ship on first pirate battle that I encountered. I panicked, docked at station, came back, pirates were gone, landed on freighter (S-class) and got it for free.
Hey guys, quick question. I have a pretty shit freighter rn and I was wondering if I came across a better freighter like the one OP posted (which is sick), if it works like starships where I can buy It even though I already have a freighter or if I have to not own a freighter entirely in order to be able to buy it
It really is just pure luck, I got basically the same S-class sized dreadnought and it only took me around 20 tries, maybe 2 hours worth of work spread out over a few nights.
Not sure if it's a glitch byt like why not go to a blackmarket system (forgot actual name) within two days and two different blackmailed systems I found 3 S class freighters not to mention you can edit the colors now
You have 2% chance -_- Dont waste time.
I tried 10x more times then you and never got this S class i gived up and im happy cuz i can do more interesting things then doing iver and over the same thing to get stupid s class
Does your current freighter's inside layout build with cargo modules, plants, deco, stored resources in main cargo and module cargo, transfer to the newly bought ship?
Pretty sure I did 200+ resets to get mine. I finally gave up and decided to settle for an A class. Started resetting for A class then finally got S class.
I don't have the patience or desire to keep resetting. Does the game continue to throw freighter battles at you every 5 warps indefinitely? Or will they eventually stop? And is it possible to buy freighters you don't save in a battle? (Sorry, kinda new to the game and not familiar with all this stuff)
More storage in an S class, 48 in primary and three rows in tech. A class gets 40 or 42 primary and 2 rows tech, I think. 179 resets is a lot. I have dual monitors and watch youtube. If you're not okay with long bouts of boring, mindless tedium then you shouldn't be playing NMS. /S
Yeah that's about what getting mine this week took as well. Lots of ABC ... S was a LOT of resets.
Something that helped me once I found the system with a Sentinel Dreadnought: Staging from a nearby station-less system, so that the freighter battle doesn't trigger ... let me warp my freighter in to pre-decommision and then set my save to where my next warp would trigger the fight.
Unfortunately I didn't realize the landing area of the freighter wouldn't recolor so my beautiful S-class purple and gold freighter (recolored) has a really ugly green and red trim landing area (and those colors are visible from the buildable base, too). So ... I'll *probably* hunt another S at some point.
PS. Weird note: my freighter in the new expedition was my freighter from my S-class permadeath save. Pretty cool but I'm not sure it was intended. Didn't have any tech or cargo unlocks but had the purple and gold recolor I had done. Nice touch if intentional.
Man, my stupid ass eventually set for an A cuz i though it didnt matter for the amount of slots of the freighter. Turned out ofcourse it mattered, now i cant upgrate the total slots to max (just missing one row at the most left side which triggers me immensely lmao)
Mine only took me 3 resets, I am starting to feel like I won the jackpot and that rarely happens to me. I'd been eyeballing a freighter from the coordinates exchange for a while, never got around to getting it but then Endurance hit and I was like....yeah, this is the time. Went there, reset 3 times, bingo.
I like that design of ship, but went for the Star Destroyer one instead, mostly because whoever came up with this one thought putting tower-like structures with really sticky collision physics on them *right in front of the launch bay!*
Seriously, if the update lets us clear the "runway" with base building tools, I might try for one of these again.
Is having a class S freighter or ship really that important ? I went more than 200 hours with the same class A ship and class B freighter and I didn't notice much change compared to my other saves with class S vehicles. Sure, the stats are slightly better but like it does the job and I don't really wanna reset a 100+ times just for that.
On the grand scale of things no it doesn't make a difference to my playstyle or impact my experience, however I like dopamine, and seeing that little golden S badge gives me some
Oh okay I see, it's like wanting to complete a game at 100% by collecting all the useless items on the map so a number changes in your progression bar, that kind of dopamine ?
I saw my first S-rank freighter with that model. I was super tempted since I have never gotten an S rank before, but I had a fully upgraded A rank super star destroyer and passed on it :(
I started with a c found a b and swapped them, the b was so much worse plus I didnāt know you lose the things that were in it, I ended up loading an old save
What good is class S anyway? I guess if you want to max out hyperdrive range or something? I have better things to do than spend that long looking for a class S freighter. I like my long class B oculus that I just serendipitously came across one day.
I took over a C class after saving it from pirates. And the second one I saw was this same ship in A class. So I nabbed it up. I don't think I'll ever even try for an S class freighter, maybe if I get super bored down the road. Idk though...maybe if they automatically swapped your entire freighter interior for you.
Took me roughly 18 hours to get an s class. Suggestion.. If you're looking for the ship in the picture you'll need the battle to spawn. That said there's 2 types. Gek and vykeen spawn the pictured type, robots systems get the star wars triangle. The colors will depend on the system. That said find the 3 star system with the preferred ship colors and keep jumping to that same system until you get your s class.
Manā¦. I had no idea how lucky I was to get an S class literally my first play until I heard all these stories of 100ās of reloads. Unfortunately my s class only started with 14 or so storage space but that is easily upgraded over timeš„²
I got A class Venetor family's 2 indentations type but next day while playing I was looking 3 star system for new good starships and saw a freighter Seemed Venator class ship's imperial type but I was like " Good enough bigger than my current one at least ". So I saved it. Checked tier and it was **S type**. I overjoyed. Without removing any interior structures I just cleaned my current one's inventory and directly went to buy that one.
I was thinking of getting new one for biggest size with S tier since I want that. I just realized yesterday I actually claimed biggest one lol.
All that work just to immediately run into that antenna tower right after you leave the hangar.
Jokes aside I really don't like this game design and wish they would do something about it. It doesn't feel great to incentivize reloading hundreds of times, and I can't imagine it's great on the integrity of your save files.
You did 179 resets for 340 silver, 182 gold, 183 deuterium, and 497 chromatic metal? That seems like a waste of time, if you wanted it that badly, you couldāve easily gotten that by asking for it in the anomaly
Iād recommend people just donāt start.
This is the one thing I find insanely annoying about the game and that āmechanicsā encourage it. When I get to this point with this game, or any game, itās just time to put it down.
Edit: yāall downvoting this as if it isnāt a waste of time and foolishly save scumming for a feature that should be in the game. You can upgrade the class of your ships and multitools, but for some reason not capital ships. Itās just stupid and encourages things outside of the normal gameplay loop. Itās bad design.
Resets as in, going back to the savepoint to have the freighter spawn again? Sorry, im new to the game
Have a save point on a space station, fly out the system then fly back in to trigger the pirate battle, land on the freighter, scan it's rank then reset!
Can you land on the freighter before fighting the pirates?
Yes you can, it'll disable the pirate fight itself, simply land on the freighter, use your Analysis visor on any wall in the docking bay and it'll tell you the class too
Oh no, i fought yesterday against them like 50 times and for 4h. Wish i had this advise earlier
That's good to know, thanks!
Is this new? When I was doing it couple of months back, ppl said I had to fight the pirates each time. Also wouldn't the freighter be on alert on not able to land during pirate attacks? If the pirates disappear, do you just talk to the captain and he gives it to you for free? Like, this works on the free one?
Could be new, not sure! But everything I described in my methods worked as written, I don't belive it was a bug.
But was it still free or did you have to pay as a result of disabling the battle
Yeah Fuck that
Does the system need a certain conflict level or economy rating or sum?
3 star economic systems give the highest chance of getting an S class, I believe it's 2%? Or 1/50 chance.
Alright, thanks :)
Pirate systems are 85/5/5/5%.
Hi. thx for the hint.
I believe that changed. I got my battle on my very first warp, and at the 90 minute mark. Also, got my S class Juggernaught Sentinel as well! šš» Took me about 95 retries to get, but woohoo!
How did you trigger the pirate ? I don't understand. Thanks
Check YouTube "Jason Plays" he has a great walkthrough.
Does this work on playsation because the last time I tried it on ps4 it didn't work and the battle just didn't happen at all
Wait do freighters have a set rating or does it change if you go back to the same system again?
The rating will change so long as you saved prior to the battle starting I believe
Actually distraught right now, I've been switching to different systems each load in and missing out on perfect freighter designs for years
Uhm...save point on a space station? Can you build save points on the space stations!??
Auto save by entering and exiting a ship
Yes but... When you exit your ship aboard the freighter in order to scan it to check the stats, that triggers the autosave too...no? So your autosave aboard the station just gets overwritten
Nope! Doesn't auto save when landing on the freighter, only your own or another players
Aaah! Didn't know that. Thanks!!!
Does this event happen every time you warp into a system?
If you're due a pirate invasion it'll happen in most systems, but not all
Thank you for answering. I'll keep it in mind. On a side note, I'm really, really new to the game so... Would you mind telling me when is one "due a pirate invasion"? Please lol.
Play a bit and warp around a lot, when you get one it'll be 5 warps and 3 hours played
Thanks, you're the best!
I thought you reload the save, not easy out and back in?
Yeah once I checked the freighters class I'd reload the autosave and repeate the process
I see. I missed that part of the JP video then. I didn't realize you had to warp out and back in. Thanks for that.
Congrats. I Just grabbed the first A class frighter. I might upgrade it someday if I ever stumble upon an S.

You don't have to rebuild the base I thought?
Unless it's just a glitch, Endurance does now reset the layout of your freighter.
It says it doesn't, but mine certainly did. I was pretty pissed off. The only reason I upgraded was because I thought I wouldn't have to go through all that customization again, but nope. Oh really?
You never had to before, so unless it's new you don't have to rebuild
Gives you something to do...
I think the outlaws update made it so that the base transfers when buying a new freighter
Base transfers but if you made it before the endurance update it transfers whack AF
Appreciate that info.
Yessir
Be careful, mine didn't transfer at all. Not sure if it bugged out or what, but mine just completely reset on me.
I got mine a while ago but heard from some YT channel that pre-desolation Freighters have much weaker hyperdrives. Honestly, considered going through this again but thought nah. It's so boring and I like the look of my current one.
How is this not considered a bug that needs patching?
Damn, I did like 80 resets and only 2 times A Class Was about to give up and said next time A Class comes I'm sticking with it, got an S Class right after
I did the same thing but an s class never came, but got an A class with 34 slots and 9 tech
That's pretty good imma say
Whatās the difference between an S class and an A class? Is it just number of slots?
It's actually not, slots are random, i saw a C with 34, an A with 25 and my S had 26. Also here's the link to the starship wiki page to learn how clases affect ships if ur interested. https://nomanssky.fandom.com/wiki/Starship
There is a different to the Max slots . . . A class can be 42/14 . . . S class can be 48/21 (not sure about the new cargo inventory yet)
Grats! Got my S class y-day too, same model :) Took me around 1,5h, not sure how many attempts (tho I recorded everything :D). The new method makes it so fast and easy. Now try to find a good method to farm salvaged frigate modules

Mind you it will be a bit more boring without the pirate battle to provide some distraction.
There is something I don't understand. How can you manually save on a space station?
You donāt. You trigger an āauto saveā which happens whenever you exit your ship.

I wouldn't consider it "giving up", at some point I just settled for an A Class.
What was the price for this S-class?
It literally shows on the screen, 178 mil. My S-class yesterday was 178 too. If you already have some freighter (I had A-class) it will reduce the cost.
Looool I didnāt notice that š
So it does, I went from a B class to this S class, not sure how much it knocked off the price however
A max slot A-class lets you swap to a brand new S-class for free, if you settled for an A for the longest time like I did and are looking to finally upgrade.
I think it was around 168 million, highest A class I saw was 145 million!
Thanks for the info Iām all motivated nowā¦ maybe after 200+ hours in NMs I can try and finally get the one I want š
Best of luck man!
Dude! I tolled you I was motivated after seeing your post right! After 300+ hour I finally got my very first S-Class freighter! Itās a sentinel type š¤©! Thanks for your post it got me all hyped š
Congrats man! Dm me a screenshot if you like I'd love to see what you got
This was the death upon me once upon a time lol never again. I have it and shall never have another
I just fought the battle took payment instead if it wasn't a capital S class and got mine on like my third fight.
As someone waiting for the new expedition to start before starting my first play through since i tried the game back at the beyond patch what is it you were trying to do?

Can you find an s in 2 star.
Yes, but the odds are lower.

I cummed my pants after seeing all that free storage
Sheesh I got lucky, I only reset 20 times to get an S class of the same exact freighter.
Too late, I gave up
I never give up people. I don't have people to give.
Congratulations! Worth the effort.
Thanks! Time to spend 7 hours designing the interior
I just went for the class A, might do some S class grinding today
I had around this much resets too and i immediately gave up doing the battles at around the 5th reset because i would lose my sanity to keep doing those every time lol. Congrats on the S class! She looks beautiful.
Jesus, mine only took about 20-30 resets, that sucks man
Sorry to be that guy but I got a class S of this a couple days ago with like 20 resets.
Yeah I've had the best and worst luck with NMS, I got my S class solar ship in about 4 minutes from starting, took me well over a week to get other class S ships!
If it had boxes instead of balls I'd go for it
Took me 40 attempts for my first S class. The very next 2 freighters I saved from pirates ended up being S class as well lol.
I do not have this ship but the Stardestroyer Class A ship on first pirate battle that I encountered. I panicked, docked at station, came back, pirates were gone, landed on freighter (S-class) and got it for free.
I wish we could upgrade our Freighters like we can or Starships.
I still don't get what the class means
Idk if its quicker or not but i think if you just pulse a distance away new versions of freighters appear
The more I see these S class freighter stories the more I realize how lucky I was to get mine on the fourth try.
How do you reset these? I tried and it just disappeared
\#WorthIt
Hey guys, quick question. I have a pretty shit freighter rn and I was wondering if I came across a better freighter like the one OP posted (which is sick), if it works like starships where I can buy It even though I already have a freighter or if I have to not own a freighter entirely in order to be able to buy it
I've been playing on and off since day 1. I've completely given up on getting an S class freighter. Found a nice star destroyer looking A class.
It really is just pure luck, I got basically the same S-class sized dreadnought and it only took me around 20 tries, maybe 2 hours worth of work spread out over a few nights.
What's the difference between A class and S class for freighter?
S class freighters have a higher maximum threshold for things like warp drive distance etc
Must be nice to have that kind of time š
Funnily enough I've got a baby due in a couple of weeks! So it was either farm it now, or never!
I currently have a C class literally just because it looks like The Enterprise. Are there S Classes of the same exterior design?
Yawn, I'd rather have explored twelve systems and jumped to a new galaxy in the same time.
My girlfriend got her very first freighter for free and it was this one.
It can be brutally unfair, some people get it first try, some take a thousand
Does your current freighter's inside layout build with cargo modules, plants, deco, stored resources in main cargo and module cargo, transfer to the newly bought ship?
Nope it completely reset, I didn't touch the new freighter building mechanics until I got my new freighter
Way cheaper than I thought it would be
So Einstein was wrong.
Was this on console by any chance?
Pc
Ahhh ok. Iāve heard thereās a bug for s clas freighters on console and was crossing my fingers š
On my save I have 47 hours but still I can still claim a freighter for free.
Ehhhh I'm just gonna stick with my trusty A class that has watched my back for 60+ hours now
This update makes it worth the wait for the perfect freighter
Or find a style you like and a color, buy it regardless of class. Then use save file editor to make it a s class
Is there any reason to get an S class over an A class? Resetting for hours sounds painful
Had a class "S" once and was about 10 mil shy of the price even with trading my class "A". Still hurts to think about.
I had roughly 600m+ when farming this and even I was worried it wouldn't be enough, that's brutal man
Wicked cool! Congrats! That's a great freighter! So glad you didn't join that cult of losers who settle for an A-class! :)
Nice one! I did similar for my Fully loaded Capital ship.
Why bother with class S freighter? Canāt send them on missions and they donāt really fight do they?
More so for the little bits of my brain that like knowing something is top tier, dopamine and all that jazz
My 3-segment freighter is perfectly adequate, right? Right?? It's not about the size of the freighter, it's about the distance of the warp drive!
I've done this shit once, never again. A-class is good enough :P
I like that design of ship, but went for the Star Destroyer one instead, mostly because whoever came up with this one thought putting tower-like structures with really sticky collision physics on them *right in front of the launch bay!* Seriously, if the update lets us clear the "runway" with base building tools, I might try for one of these again.
I was on the fence with star destroyers, they are a very close 2nd for me
Wow. I bet that took a while
Is having a class S freighter or ship really that important ? I went more than 200 hours with the same class A ship and class B freighter and I didn't notice much change compared to my other saves with class S vehicles. Sure, the stats are slightly better but like it does the job and I don't really wanna reset a 100+ times just for that.
On the grand scale of things no it doesn't make a difference to my playstyle or impact my experience, however I like dopamine, and seeing that little golden S badge gives me some
Oh okay I see, it's like wanting to complete a game at 100% by collecting all the useless items on the map so a number changes in your progression bar, that kind of dopamine ?
Exactly that, I'm the sadistic NMS player who likes to keep full stacks of each item for "emergencies"
I enjoy this
Yes
I saw my first S-rank freighter with that model. I was super tempted since I have never gotten an S rank before, but I had a fully upgraded A rank super star destroyer and passed on it :(
This is basically what I've got planned for tomorrow. For as long as it takes.
Goodluck!
Is the difference between an a and s class that significant?
I started with a c found a b and swapped them, the b was so much worse plus I didnāt know you lose the things that were in it, I ended up loading an old save
Then thereās me who got a class-A dreadnaught (square cargo pods) for literally their first free freighter and never looked back
Nice!
What good is class S anyway? I guess if you want to max out hyperdrive range or something? I have better things to do than spend that long looking for a class S freighter. I like my long class B oculus that I just serendipitously came across one day.
I settled for a small S class cause I didn't want something gargantuan. Upgrading the inventory however has been a pain.
I took over a C class after saving it from pirates. And the second one I saw was this same ship in A class. So I nabbed it up. I don't think I'll ever even try for an S class freighter, maybe if I get super bored down the road. Idk though...maybe if they automatically swapped your entire freighter interior for you.
Sounds SUPER fun...
Is that a bug how is the hyperdrive only 180 my A-class can go alil over 2,000ly
On my Xbox account, got my S class in 9 tries. On PS, the 112th was my S class. 31 A classes popped up during that time.
And whats the price for such a fine freighter?
178Mil
I've only had to reload maybe 5 or 6 times to get an s class.
You talking about doing resets/waiting for an S class ship? This isn't an encouraged mechanic and you don't need to do it at all. Yes the reset will take more time but get you an S class freighter early for free. But you can take longer and continue playing the game to build up the money and buy it. It's like saying PokƩmon encourages resetting to get a shiny starter pokemon. Yes it's a mechanic. No it isn't encouraged. No it isn't necessary.
