Same.
I actually had a dna test that showed a gene that says I metabolize caffeine faster than 95% of the population. I’ve often had a pre bedtime cup.
Pain in the ass on those 12 hour shifts, though. Might need to look into meth.
I’m considering switching to decaf for this reason. I make a mokka pot every morning and it doesn’t really seem like it’s doing much anymore but i do like the flavor of coffee.
This for me. It's the HOT that gets me going. I don't even notice the caffeine unless it's really cold outside and a fourth cup gives me a slight tremble. I really only drink it at work since it's so accessible.
I can drink coffee and immediately take a nap if I wanted to. I need an absurd amount of caffeine to feel much, and at that point it just gives me anxiety.
I would 100% drink coffee just for the flavor
Bestie I wouldn't even eat food if it didn't give me the pleasant buzz of Not Starving To Death. I am motivated, more than anything, by a Pleasant Buzz of any kind.
I often drink decaf coffee. Decaf is far more widely available relative to caffeinated coffee than non-alcoholic 'alcohol' is compared to the good stuff.
Yeah, sometimes the taste does not hit right. The barista explained to me at the coffee shop that even the cleanest processing does something to the taste. I also brew my ground decaf at home and ... yeah...good enough
They even have non alcoholic spirits now.
Decaf I did find useful newscaster it has a small amount of caffeine in it and used it to help me quit caffeine
Non alcoholic items are for sober people who still want to participate and also not be singled out. The worst people to be around, without a mocktail are drunks.
Yes. I like the earthy taste of coffee, and when it’s hot, it’s provides a darker taste to tea. It’s a comfort drink, especially with milk and sugar. Plus it pairs well with some pastries and food.
I drink like 3-6 coffees a day, I might have an espresso before bed if I’ve had a late meal. I like coffee and I don’t get the buzz 🤣 except for my morning early afternoon coffees.
I think Once you acquire a taste for it much like beer / wine it becomes enjoyable and you can tell differences between your dark and light roasts and different regions
I drink bitter AF juices because I throw in there some opioid-like dust. That doesn't mean I like drinking super AF bitter juices, but I'm desperate for a dopamine hit. The same applies for coffee. I don't like its taste nor the short lived weak asf dopamine hit. I drink 4-5 cups of green teas a day because I like their taste.
I was hanging out in the not so long past with a "wise man", = he thinks he knows everything about wines and alcohol in general. He told me, "you don't appreciate this wine's taste, you just drink it to get wasted". I said yes. If I wanted something that is tasty, I would go to a kiosk or somewhere they sell lots of juices, and pick a good one like with tropical fruits.
He tries to convince me he has great knowledge of wine tastes and alcohol as a ... Functional alcoholic, someone who has admitted he's been drinking alcohol for 10 years without a day off.
And tried to excuse his alcohol dependence with the supposed wine knowledge and his special taste buds onto the way to being total wasted. I mean c mon! Admit you drink it for the same purpose like I do. He thinks that I think he drinks that much because he has to taste many different wines to reach to a conclusion and accidentally he gets wasted - every single time. 😂😂😂
I suppose if you dislike the taste of coffee, drinking it for any reason besides the caffeine boost wouldn't make sense to you.
I avoid caffeinated drinks for the most part because it makes me anxious, but I love the taste of coffee, so I'll either drink it in small quantities or I'll drink decaf. So yes, I would, and do, drink coffee regardless of the caffeine and its effects.
I already do. It's hard to find a good decaf though and I have to use way more coffee than usual to make a delicious cup because for some reason decaffinated coffe tastes watery.
I love the taste of good coffee and I only drink it for the taste. I am highly sensitive to caffeine and need to be careful when and how much I drink. If I'm stressed, I can't drink it at all. Unfortunately decaf just doesn't taste as well.
So yes, and I would drink coffee several times daily if it was naturally caffeine free, unlike now where it's a few times a week at most.
I dont get a buzz from drinking a cup or two of coffee. I do drink it to keep my eyes open especially in the afternoon . As with beer, it helps what kind you drink, and the right gear in clean order does a lot. After i quit smoking i drink a lot less coffee too. When Im on travel for instance, i dont always go for coffee at all, as it helps with controlling the bladder.
It doesn't. In Canada they have been messing with everything we ingest. We can't find food with enough salt. Everything is low fat, like it or not. The marijuana is useless here because I have compared with the U.S. We have ethanol in our fuel giving us lousy mileage. And finally, coffee in stores doesn't have enough caffeine. We have limited choice in products now too. Canada sucks.
I drink decaf everyday. I love the ritual and feeling of having a nice creamy iced drink in the summer. When I stopped drinking caffeine, I kept up the routine
I've never noticed a buzz from coffee. The only thing it does for me is occasionally make me go to the bathroom way too much, but not every time. I drink it anyway. I don't completely love it but it tastes good enough often enough that I drink it. Something to drink in the morning or with dessert.
absolutely! I love coffee. Well, I love espresso with lots of milk and sugar lol. But I genuinely do love lattes with all my heart and I would absolutely drink them even if I didn't get any caffeine from them. There's a reason decaf exists!
If I'm eating breakfast in a restaurant I love the bitter flavor next to sweet flavors of breakfast. Same with dessert at the end of the meal.
I usually drink coffee in the morning for the caffeine and it helps me have a BM in the morning. So as long as it helps me have a BM.
I used to drink hella viet coffee in hs bc back then the caffeine just didn't affect me somehow. Now I can only have it once in a blue moon bc it heightens my anxiety but it tastes so fuckin good
I do when around my mum's as she has stocked up on decaf instant / pouches / ground since having a stroke, I tell you what though.. some brands still pack a decent caffeine punch despite being 'decaf'
I barely get drunk and i don't feel any effect from coffee.
I sometimes drink apple cider and occasionally drink coffee. Both solely for their pleasant taste
Never had any kind of a buzz of coffee dont get any energy from it either i just drink it because i like the taste, also i could drink a case of redbull and go to bed
Caffeine does nothing for me. I just drink coffee because it’s a “comfort” drink for me. I started to drink coffee with my Grandma when I was like 6. So, it holds a special place in my heart.
I'm not sure, actually. I've been drinking coffee for about a decade now, and so my knee-jerk reaction was to say yes. I think I would continue to drink it for a while, but then I'd get bored of it without the caffeine. I'd probably end up switching to something else, like a hot tea -- which I do drink in place of coffee, on occasion.
Yes coffee is so good without being overly sweet like hot chocolate or too herbal or watery like tea. I crave it at night a lot when winding down. I just need to buy decaf lol.
Yes!
Coffee is an excellent mixer in chilly weather, a strong 8 ounce cuppa with an ounce of whisky or whiskey of your choice.
I seem to become immune to caffeine over the last 50+ years, and drink maybe a quart over 24 hours.
I'd probably still enjoy a coffee now and then if it did nothing for alertness, but I probably wouldn't drink it every single morning like I do now. I like how it tastes. It's not something I put up with for the effect.
If I had to give up caffeine, no. Decaf is gross.
But the fact that I think decaf is disgusting testifies to the fact that I actually like regular coffee. In fact, I've always drunk it black (no milk, no sugar, no nothing). I really do like the taste.
Also, I don't get a buzz from it. I drink it out at fancy dinners in restaurants, and I still sleep just fine.
hehe i have adhd what caffeine buzz?? i still like coffee and i've got to stay sober so drink alcohol free stuff when i fancy or when im out and i've had the same question but sobriety seems to be an acceptable answer for them but someone just choosing not to drink alcohol is somehow sacrilegious. it's dumb. why is it only acceptable to stop drinking alcohol once it's nearly ruined your life? or being pregnant i guess
I love simple black coffee. Especially when it gets to the perfect kind of savory flavor. Super nice in the morning. Also, if i have allergies going on or a stuffy nose, it melts all the gorp out of my head. A great way to wake up.
I don't actually notice any effects of the caffeine until about 2:30-3:00 pm if i haven't had it and get tired, or if i have too much, i have to go lay down.
Yes, I mainly drink decaf - partly as I have a couple of health issues which tend to be worse if I have too much caffeine.
I still like the taste of coffee.
I wouldn't drink coffee if it didn't have caffeine.
I can't drink alcohol for medical reasons but miss the flavor. The newer NA stuff has been great for drinks.
I would love if coffee had like… 25% of the caffeine it currently does. Caffeine makes me anxious a lot of the time but I loooove the taste of coffee, especially an iced coffee with oat milk
I’m not a regular coffee drinker; we don’t own a coffee maker or keep coffee at home. (I react badly to caffeine and can only drink it if I’m not in an insomniac phase.)
I enjoy the taste, though, when taken with cream. And I also enjoy cocoa without sugar, which is pretty similar.
Decaf tastes like trash, unfortunately, so I just don’t drink coffee very often.
Now I'm drinking like 2 coffees a day. Non caffeinated coffe I'd drink 6 times a day. This has inspired me actually to buy some decaf to drink it in the evenings.
Absolutely. Coffee can be amazing. I think lots of people try some 7/11, Keurig, or gas station slag water and think all coffee is gross... But not so. Get yourself a real coffee maker with paper filters, experiment around with a few different varieties of high quality grinds, try it with different combinations of milk, sugar, cocoa, etc. I'm convinced there is a coffee for everyone.
As far as a "buzz"... Honestly, I can drink a coffee then take a nap.
I don't get a caffeine buzz at all, which is annoying. I can't find anything that will wake me up, or keep me awake. I love coffee, and coffee ice cream, and coffee anything.
I like a good light or medium roast average caffeine coffee to which some spoonfuls of COCONUT SUGAR has been added, but other good quality sweetness are also ok
I do NOT put "creamer" "milks" into my coffee
Yep. In fact I sometimes drink Inka (basically ersatz coffee with no actual coffee in it) that tastes more or less coffee esque, at least with sufficient milk and sugar, but doesn't have a drop of caffeine in it.
I like coffee with my creamer, and I have ADHD, so there’s no buzz to speak of- I actually prefer tea and cream over coffee and cream…so I guess to sort of answer the question, I don’t drink coffee unless there’s creamer to go with it.
Coffee has never given me a buzz. It also doesn’t wake me up or keep me from sleeping. I drink a lot of it. Usually 4-6 cups a day. I take it black 90% of the time. I just like the taste.
I wish caffeine didn't give me a buzz and I wish alcohol didn't get me drunk.
I enjoy the ritual of a hot drink, a cocktail, and everything else but my body can no longer tolerate it. Anything beyond a single weak cup of coffee in the morning and I'm trembling, sweating, and my stomach is off for hours. Anything beyond a thimbleful of alcohol and I have a piercing headache, my skin flushes red all the way down to my chest, and often I'm hungover for 2 - 4 days at a time.
I regularly drink decaf, and I keep a variety of N/A spirits in the house. The decaf is perfectly serviceable, but the spirits do lack that hint of burn that only alcohol can give. I'm sure they'll come up with something that replicates in in coming years.
I used to drink pots of coffee in boarding school and college. I even had a contraband coffeemaker in my dorm room.
When I was working I think it was more like just getting a regular break. Walk to the coffee maker. Make coffee. Take some time off of actually working.
I go months without coffee now. I'm so caffeine sensitive now that even one cup of coffee beyond noon keeps me up at night.
I miss the ritual I guess but I'd rather drink ice water now.
1000%. I drink coffee multiple times a day for the taste. I had to start buying decaf because I was craving it at night. It’s so comforting and tasty. I’m someone who also loves coffee flavored ice cream, and espresso martinis. I love coffee
I love coffee! If I didn’t have a disorder that made caffeine and acidic drinks hard to process I would go back to having it every day! Even decaf if I could
In my culture, coffee is a very social drink. *Fika* - even small children are invited to share coffee with conversation throughout the day, and it's how you welcome visitors and celebrate milestones.
I've therefore been drinking coffee since I was a toddler, and accordingly my caffeine tolerance is such that I can drink several cups right before bed and immediately fall asleep. I don't feel any buzz from it. (Interestingly I also don't seem to have a physical addiction, either. When I am away from coffee for a couple days, like when camping, I feel fine and don't get headaches or feel tired.) Anyway, my point is, I don't get a buzz from coffee. I drink it for the social reasons mentioned above and because I honestly love the taste.
Yes. I keep a bag of decaf around so I can drink a cup in the evenings sometimes, since I am kind of sensitive to caffeine and regular coffee would keep me awake. Sometimes I just really want to relax and have a cup just for the taste of it.
I imagine a lot of other people are the same way or there wouldn't be a market for stuff like decaf coffee and tea.
I don't get a buzz but it does give me a boost and settles my stomach. I think it's actually a combination of all the elements that make up coffee, not just caffeine. But caffeine is definitely an important element. As far as booze goes, if all I wanted was to get drunk I would save a lot of money by just buying the cheapest, lowest grade crap instead of the good whiskey that I like.
Certain coffees yes.
Place by my work called Grow has really delicious mocha frappe that I would definitely keep drinking even without caffeine. The Horchata cold brew from Tierra Mia is also amazing just as a sugary treat.
I have a cup of coffee in the morning because I like the taste. After that if I want more I drink decaf. I have anxiety and react badly to too much caffeine.
I enjoy the process of making coffee a lot.
I don’t even think I get a buzz from it. I can just forget it for a few days with no withdrawal symptoms
Coffee is a fun morning routine and I make some very nice coffee for myself
Yes but not just black coffee, it has to have a little something like creamer. I drink decaf when I don’t want caffeine. I think it’s also a mental happy boost for some. Our brain associates things together for everything. Usually for me coffee is one of two things, a treat (when I get one from Starbucks or somewhere not my house) or it means I’m about to knock a task off my list or do a task that I will be happy I was able to get done (ADHD brain). So when I get coffee, it helps me focus because my brain says ohhhh we are about to DO things that require attention, let’s GO!
Alcohol absolutely tastes nasty to me so I would never drink it for funsies.
I used to drink atleast 2 cups of iced coffee as like a 12-13 year old and it’s been very hard to get a caffeine buzz since then. I stopped drinking it for years after and then started getting quad expresso shots for my morning shifts. It stopped so I started drinking energy drinks and then it stopped pretty quickly after. I now don’t really drink any type of caffeinated drinks anymore because yea they don’t hit. Like last week I bought one cause I stayed up all night and needed to be awake in the morning I think I drank about half of it and was sleeping not too long after lmao
I don't get a buzz or any other kind of awakening effect from coffee, I just like the taste. Black, couple of sugars and I'm cosying up like an old galaxy chocolate ad with my cup, fluffy socks, a good book and a blankie
Do any regular coffee drinkers actually get a caffeine buzz??
And yes. Making my morning coffee and sitting in my peaceful backyard on my day off is one of my favorite things in life.
Yeah. I love coffee and make decaf coffee later in the day when I have a chance to. One problem is that decaf coffees tend to be dark roast, though, so it can be hard to find one that's worth drinking.
I don't think coffee has any affect on me. While i know I'm wrong part of me will always think that the effect is all placebo and in your head. I've always been able to drink a cup of coffee to relax before going to bed. I also like tea, and herbal vs black is no different. I prefer coffee for the mouth feel. I do add milk to coffee, and that counteracts some of the caffine but i don't put milk in my tea. Warm water or hot cocoa both do the poop affect in the morning for most people.
At this point I only drink caffeine to avoid the caffeine headache. It otherwise does nothing productive for me. What a great play, get everyone addicted to a legal drug so they keep buying it
Since I don't drink strong coffee, it does not give me any caffeine buzz. So, yeah, I would still drink it, because its just a habit by now to drink one cup of coffee at lunch.
Nevertheless, if I would drink three cups of coffee per day, yeah, I would have trouble sleeping...
I don't get any kind of a buzz or any stimulating action. I can go straight to sleep after having coffee. I like the taste, so I just like to take the 15 minutes every morning (I only have a hand grinder, so it takes a bit) to make a nice beverage for myself.
Yeah.
I drink coffee for both the flavor and the caffeine. So, even if you cut out the caffeine, I'd still drink it. In fact, I'd probably drink it more often because I won't have to worry about the caffeine. I'd absolutely just drink coffee at 3 AM if that was the case.
What’s a caffeine buzz??? Been drinking it for almost 6 years, and I’ve never gotten something that feels like a “buzz”. I just feel more awake. What does a buzz feel like? Lol
I'll drink decaf, but I like the taste of coffee now. Also coffee doesn't violently destroy your body the same way alcohol does. I'm sure it has some negatives, but you wouldn't have to take a rest long week from coffee to ensure you could eat/sleep/and stop puking.
I don't know what it is, but apart from energy drinks nothing with caffeine has any effects on me.
I'm not an avid coffee drinker, since I don't like the taste most of the time, but when I know the taste is good I'll gladly have a cup.
And WRT the drinking alcohol without getting drunk, I think I'd drink way more in that case! Don't like feeling drunk beyond some tipsy-ness.
I'm pretty sure I would. I like the taste and it's nice to sip on a warm drink in the morning.
I also just do a splash of cream so it's nice to drink something that's not water but that also isn't sweet.
Yeah, I only drink decaf. It's kinda annoying how hard it can be to find. The buzz makes me feel like shit but a nice hot cup of coffee in winter is amazing.
I’d drink more of it! Such an amazing aromatic and lovely flavor, but I stopped because of the buzz. It tastes great but laying awake at 3am trying to fall asleep is a disincentive to consumption.
Yes, in fact I'm not even sure I get much of a caffeine buzz. I like a hot drink in the morning, especially in cold weather.
Same. I actually had a dna test that showed a gene that says I metabolize caffeine faster than 95% of the population. I’ve often had a pre bedtime cup. Pain in the ass on those 12 hour shifts, though. Might need to look into meth.

I genuinely enjoy the taste. Especially a well crafted drink. Same for cocktails
I love the taste of coffee and have never got any buzz from it at all. So yeah basically.
Bestie I wouldn't even eat food if it didn't give me the pleasant buzz of Not Starving To Death. I am motivated, more than anything, by a Pleasant Buzz of any kind.

You don't get buzzed or high from coffee like you get from alcohol though.
Colombian coffee yes, but no for most other coffees. Not all coffee tastes good to me.
Wow, a Redditor that uses Colombian instead of Columbian. They do exist!
There are 3 foods I don't understand: Decaffeinated coffee, non-alcoholic beer and fat free ice cream. /s
They even have non alcoholic spirits now. Decaf I did find useful newscaster it has a small amount of caffeine in it and used it to help me quit caffeine
If gin couldn’t get you high it would be paint thinner.
Non alcoholic items are for sober people who still want to participate and also not be singled out. The worst people to be around, without a mocktail are drunks.
It's delicious
Coffee used to give me stomach pain but decaf didn't.
Yes. I like the earthy taste of coffee, and when it’s hot, it’s provides a darker taste to tea. It’s a comfort drink, especially with milk and sugar. Plus it pairs well with some pastries and food.

Coffee only makes me poop. I only drink it to socialise before work.
he gets it 😂
It doesn't give me a buzz it makes me sleepy. I still drink it because it makes me happy. I have adhd though so that's probably why.
Yeah, I exclusively drink decaf these days
I do every day! Caffeine doesn't agree with me, but I love coffee. I just drink decaf
I drink bitter AF juices because I throw in there some opioid-like dust. That doesn't mean I like drinking super AF bitter juices, but I'm desperate for a dopamine hit. The same applies for coffee. It's a tasty hot beverage. I drink decaf all the time.

oh yeah! It is delicious when made with care :)

I don't get a caffeine buzz from anything ever. I love coffee. Black, please.

Yep, I drank decaf for almost a year after coffee was contributing too much to my anxiety during the 2020 election. Might be time to switch back again
Yes, I love espresso
Caffeine doesn’t affect me, I drink it purely for the taste.
I do when around my mum's as she has stocked up on decaf instant / pouches / ground since having a stroke, I tell you what though.. some brands still pack a decent caffeine punch despite being 'decaf'
Strongly brewed or instant light or medium(-ish) roasted decaf in particular...
I'd probably drink more of it if it didn't have caffeine. I like the super sweet kinds. Ain't nothing better than a good beverage.
I barely get drunk and i don't feel any effect from coffee. I sometimes drink apple cider and occasionally drink coffee. Both solely for their pleasant taste
I eat coffee ice cream so I guess so
yes because it hasnt given me a "buzz" for years lol
Never had any kind of a buzz of coffee dont get any energy from it either i just drink it because i like the taste, also i could drink a case of redbull and go to bed
I tried decaf, it doesn't do much for me. I like my regular coffee in the morning. It helps get me going some mornings.
Yes, I have some decaf in my pantry. It's nice to drink in the evening with a little snack.
We drink decaf at night, so yes.
Coffee doesn't give me that caffeinated feeling. It actually makes me sleepy (I have ADHD, so it tracks.) I just like how it tastes.
Yes but I'd add bailey's.
i drink decaffeinated coffee sometimes, so yes.
Caffeine does nothing for me. I just drink coffee because it’s a “comfort” drink for me. I started to drink coffee with my Grandma when I was like 6. So, it holds a special place in my heart.
Yep, this is why there’s coffee ice cream and tiramisu
I'm not sure, actually. I've been drinking coffee for about a decade now, and so my knee-jerk reaction was to say yes. I think I would continue to drink it for a while, but then I'd get bored of it without the caffeine. I'd probably end up switching to something else, like a hot tea -- which I do drink in place of coffee, on occasion.
I like trying out different specialty coffee for the variety of flavour that's available nowadays so yeah
I started drinking only decaf coffee (and tea) many years ago, and I still enjoy it.
No
Caffeine hasn't given me a buzz in years, and yet I keep drinking it daily
Yes, my ADHD means coffee doesn’t do anything for me anyway so I just like the flavor
Yes coffee is so good without being overly sweet like hot chocolate or too herbal or watery like tea. I crave it at night a lot when winding down. I just need to buy decaf lol.
Yea, caffeine doesnt effect me much anyways (well not in the normal way, in the ADHD way instead), I like the taste and having a nice hot drink
Nope.
I've drank enough caffinated drinks that caffiene doesn't do much for me other then act as a pain reliever.
Yes! Coffee is an excellent mixer in chilly weather, a strong 8 ounce cuppa with an ounce of whisky or whiskey of your choice. I seem to become immune to caffeine over the last 50+ years, and drink maybe a quart over 24 hours.
I have ADHD. It doesn’t give me a buzz. I drink it because I love it
Yes, it tastes good. I don't drink it for the caffeine already, it doesn't work
I'd probably still enjoy a coffee now and then if it did nothing for alertness, but I probably wouldn't drink it every single morning like I do now. I like how it tastes. It's not something I put up with for the effect.
If I had to give up caffeine, no. Decaf is gross. But the fact that I think decaf is disgusting testifies to the fact that I actually like regular coffee. I’ve been a coffee drinker since about 1965. Maybe 5-6 cups a day. I never get any sort of “buzz”.
It works great at suppressing my appetite.
ever heard of decaf?
I love simple black coffee. Especially when it gets to the perfect kind of savory flavor. Super nice in the morning. Also, if i have allergies going on or a stuffy nose, it melts all the gorp out of my head. A great way to wake up. I don't actually notice any effects of the caffeine until about 2:30-3:00 pm if i haven't had it and get tired, or if i have too much, i have to go lay down.
I’d be less inclined, but I do enjoy the taste regardless so yes.
I probably wouldn't have started drinking coffee if it didn't give me a buzz. But if it stopped now, then I probably wouldnt stop.
Have you heard of decaf?
Yes!!!!!
I would love if coffee had like… 25% of the caffeine it currently does. Caffeine makes me anxious a lot of the time but I loooove the taste of coffee, especially an iced coffee with oat milk
Maybe twice a year or something. I’d alternate black/green tea if coffee had no caffeine
Yes, I drink regular in the mornings and decaf in the afternoons. I just like the dark-roasted flavor.
So decafe? Yes
Absolutely–I have to limit caffeine intake due to health issues. So I opt for decaf and half-caff with both coffee and tea
I’m not a regular coffee drinker; we don’t own a coffee maker or keep coffee at home. (I react badly to caffeine and can only drink it if I’m not in an insomniac phase.) I enjoy the taste, though, when taken with cream.
I have adhd coffee id for pleasure, it actually makes me sleep lol its a comfort drink like tea
I’d need to find another way to get caffeine in the morning. But I do drink decaf in the afternoon sometimes.
Absolutely, I often drink decaf.
Coffee does *not* give me a "buzz," never has. I like it, though.
I don't get a caffeine buzz at all, which is annoying. I can't find anything that will wake me up, or keep me awake. I love coffee, and coffee ice cream, and coffee anything.
No. At that point, I might as just drink hot chocolate.
only drink decaf and love it. so, yeah...
Yea because I gotta keep my poop ritual every morning
No Drinking decaffeinated coffee is as logical as drinking dry water
I feel nothing from coffee anymore. I drink it because it’s my routine and I genuinely enjoy the taste of it. And it makes me poop.
I like a good light or medium roast average caffeine coffee to which some spoonfuls of COCONUT SUGAR has been added, but other good quality sweetness are also ok I do NOT put "creamer" "milks" into my coffee
Doesn’t really give me a buzz just more focused and like I can concentrate for a few hours.
Yup. It’s called decaf! I truly like the taste .
I don’t drink it for the buzz. Coffee is delicious
Yes, I drink decaf in the afternoons or evenings, and when I was pregnant. I love the taste of coffee!
Yes because I like the taste
I drink two cups a week (one Saturday morning, the other Sunday morning) and don’t notice a ‘buzz’
Never.
Yea because that already happens 💀 i drink it for the taste or if im cold
Not really I tried decaf it’s ok but not the same just not the same must have real joe
I put butter and sugar in my coffee so for me it’s more about a hot, fatty, sugary drink than the caffeine I get out of it
I love coffee! If I didn’t have a disorder that made caffeine and acidic drinks hard to process I would go back to having it every day! Even decaf if I could
Every single day…..I currently drink 3/4 of a pot and no buzz or anything. I’m just awake
Yes, love that dark roast flavor.
Brother, I can drink a pot of black coffee and then go back to bed Yes I like the idea
I love the taste! When I took a break from caffeine I drank decaf
I drink black coffee in the morning because I enjoy the heat and the taste. I don't do it for the caffeïne.
Yes. Probably not as often, but you can make some darn tasty things with coffee.
I drink decaf coffee most days.
No
I have a cup of coffee in the morning because I like the taste. After that if I want more I drink decaf. I have anxiety and react badly to too much caffeine.
Yes I wish I could drink coffee without caffeine.
i do not get a caffeine buzz ever
Yeah, it’s tasty. I honestly should get decaf coffee for when i crave it later in the afternoon/night.
I enjoy the process of making coffee a lot. I don’t even think I get a buzz from it. I can just forget it for a few days with no withdrawal symptoms Coffee is a fun morning routine and I make some very nice coffee for myself
I drink decaf at night, so, yeah.
Decaf, homie
Nope. I pretty much do it only for that. I don't think coffee is all that tasty
I don't get a buzz or any other kind of awakening effect from coffee, I just like the taste. Black, couple of sugars and I'm cosying up like an old galaxy chocolate ad with my cup, fluffy socks, a good book and a blankie
No. I drink coffee for the caffeine and alcohol to get a buzz/drunk. Otherwise, I’m good with water most times.
Do any regular coffee drinkers actually get a caffeine buzz?? And yes. Making my morning coffee and sitting in my peaceful backyard on my day off is one of my favorite things in life.
Caffeine doesn’t give me a buzz. I just like coffee
At this point yes
I drink coffee to wake me up. It doesn’t give me a buzz or the jitters or anything. It just makes me not sleepy
It doesn’t give me a buzz at all. Sometimes l will have iced coffee before bed.
Yeah. I love coffee and make decaf coffee later in the day when I have a chance to. One problem is that decaf coffees tend to be dark roast, though, so it can be hard to find one that's worth drinking.
Hell no.
Yeah, I like the taste of it. It hardly does anything for me from a caffeine standpoint anyway.
No, I just don't like the smell or taste of coffee.
I don't get any kind of a buzz or any stimulating action. I can go straight to sleep after having coffee. I like the taste, so I just like to take the 15 minutes every morning (I only have a hand grinder, so it takes a bit) to make a nice beverage for myself.
I occasionally iced coffee or a vanilla latte purely for the taste. Caffeine doesn't really affect me.
I get 0 buzz from regular coffee & still drink it. I switched to decaf for awhile & it doesn’t bother me. I just like the taste
Yeah. I drink coffee for both the flavor and the caffeine. So, even if you cut out the caffeine, I'd still drink it. In fact, I'd probably drink it more often because I won't have to worry about the caffeine. I'd absolutely just drink coffee at 3 AM if that was the case.
No, if I don’t have to drink coffee and have the option to have my caffeine fix in something more fruity or just straight caffeine.
It doesn't, I do. Black coffee is delicious
I drink decaf. I’m prescribed a stimulant and my body can’t handle the caffeine jolt.
'I don't think alcohol for the intoxicating effects.' .Have you ever had a non-alcoholic cocktail in your entire life? '...no.' Alright then.
What’s a caffeine buzz??? Been drinking it for almost 6 years, and I’ve never gotten something that feels like a “buzz”. I just feel more awake. What does a buzz feel like? Lol
I wouldn't drink coffee anymore, but I might still drink tea. That said, coffee flavored ice cream is delicious.
I'll drink decaf, but I like the taste of coffee now. Also coffee doesn't violently destroy your body the same way alcohol does. I'm sure it has some negatives, but you wouldn't have to take a rest long week from coffee to ensure you could eat/sleep/and stop puking.
coffee makes me sleepy, but I drink it because of the taste 😂
Yes, I love a good hot cup of coffee! I’ll drink decaf if I have to
I don't know what it is, but apart from energy drinks nothing with caffeine has any effects on me.
Caffeine buzz?
Well that's what people that want decaf do, no?
Seems you are forgetting stores sell a variety of Decaffeinated coffee.
So people actually like coffee for its taste?! Mind blown.
That last time I drank coffee was September 20th of 1984, and then only because my grandmother insisted.
Yes. I often drink decaf at work. Tastes and feels great. Love it :)
I'm pretty sure I would. I like the taste and it's nice to sip on a warm drink in the morning. I also just do a splash of cream so it's nice to drink something that's not water but that also isn't sweet.
I don’t drink it for a caffeine, but I drink it because I like the taste
I drink it for the taste.
I lost the caffeine buzz years ago. I just need it so I don’t get a headache lol but yes I love the taste soo I still would
Yeah, I only drink decaf. It's kinda annoying how hard it can be to find. The buzz makes me feel like shit but a nice hot cup of coffee in winter is amazing.
I don’t drink coffee because of the buzz. I’d love a cup. Decaf still has caffeine, so I don’t do that much either.
Yeah, it still tastes good with a morning muffin.
I might for the premium ones. I had coffee by a roaster, and it tasted chocolatey.
I’d drink more of it! Such an amazing aromatic and lovely flavor, but I stopped because of the buzz. It tastes great but laying awake at 3am trying to fall asleep is a disincentive to consumption.
Yeah. I like the taste of it. I don't get much of a kick from it anyway due to my overuse of energy drinks.
I keep drinking that flavour called decaf. No buzz at all, tastes ok, costs the same.
