Yeah, pretty much just makes it light up under and between the switches. I have mine set to a dark orange (bout as close to brown as I can get) and it's not too bad. Could always turn the LEDs off too.
Should be an Asus 40 series Noctua Edition. They started some time ago with the 3070 I believe and they've expanded the lineup a bit with the 4080 in the current gen. They look and perform great but they do cost a pretty penny, I don't know if more than the Strix counterpart but very close to it at minimum.

What keyboard base did you use for the caps? Are the caps themselves comfortable for gaming with their slightly odd shape?
Got them on a Huntsman TE with linear switches. Having gamed yet, but the switches feel great for typing, better than before.
