(Un)fortunately it's more likely to be here, in the Philippines.
The 26th Cavalry Regiment (Philippine Scouts) was technically a US Army unit but it also has Filipino soldiers (hence the Philippine Scouts designation) - they were the last American force to conduct a cavalry charge against an enemy until the Green Berets did so in Afghanistan in 2001.
If you also read the official military history books from the [US Army Center of Military History](https://history.army.mil/html/bookshelves/collect/usaww2.html) you'll see the passages mentioning the 26th Cavalry have them always outnumbered yet always defeating most of the Japanese - including leading a cavalry charge against a Japanese armored column.
It's going to be a..."return to where it once was" so to speak if US Army Cavalry units ever fight again here. Also, the 1st Cavalry Division was one of the units that landed during the Philippines campaign, even having a flying column to reach the capital as fast as possible, leading to the liberation of the UST prison camp for example.

I came across it while watching YouTube shorts
As someone who lives in Latin America I just don't know what my algorithm meant.
If I am being fair, a disservice to the early bronies, amongst who have literally fought and died in Afghanistan.
That said, these new bronies, I do not understand them.
Oh god okay I’m sorry for the politics, but my brain’s first thought was “since supposedly 3 entire South Americas are breaking into the US every year, the algorithm wants you to spread the word so they all sign up to defend Murica”
Outside of that, I really have no idea how you got there lol
3000 caravans of south americans who are always an existential crisis for the border states right up until they actually arrive and it turns out they're just normal people who apply for asylum through the normal channels and want to become good patriotic Americans who pay their bills on time and file their taxes without errors.
> *and mostly perform jobs Americans refuse to do like picking fruit.*
Yup, and even in case where it’s not the undesirable job they’re applying for, it’s the damn greedy bosses choosing to hire immigrants over native-born Americans because they know they can often get away with paying them far less for much more because they don’t know about the rights & legal protections workers are entitled to in the US, which the Bosses exploit to outright control & abuse them by threatening to have them deported.
And besides, there is a way more effective measure at stopping illegal immigration: Slap the companies hiring illegal labour hard. Give them no reason to hire illegal immigrants.
Guess what never happens.
It's the two buttons meme:
1. Stop all undocumented immigrants by banning employers from hiring them, including employers with shortfalls in critical jobs.
2. Document immigrants in critical jobs.

I saw her billboard outside fort hood. Caught me by surprise.
And yeah, she is an IRL service member because everytime something work related she has ti disappear.
She also has to report other jobs...wonder how her chain feels.
Horses have to be the worst military vehicles ever. They are difficult to transport, fueling takes a long time, and they are ridiculously fragile. Sometimes horses just straight up die for no apparent reason. Militaries all over world ditched horses as soon as they could. Plus cavalry men were insufferable assholes. Read history of any small arms procurement in late 1800's early 1900's and there will be always some horse guy bitching and moaning about how gun doesn't fit in horses ass or whatever they were doing. Fuck horses. But in like normal way, not degenerate bronie way.
Hey, you! That's right, you stupid Kraut bastards! That's right! Say hello to Ford and General fuckin' Motors! You stupid fascist pigs! Look at you! You have horses! What were you thinking?
Hahaha. It's completely true that the wehrmacht was mainly horse driven from the beginning of the war... But come on, Web, they weren't gonna be allowed to drive themselves home in their military vehicles at the end lol
I made my ex-girlfriend watch Band of Brothers (and The Pacific) and managed to keep my quotation urges in check for like ¾ of the series... But then I shouted the **""LOOK AT YOU. YOU HAVE HORSES? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?"** at 100db. Lol
Yes and No
They are easier to transport than truck (they are often transported by one), they refuel slowly but need just some grain and lawn/meadow, but they are fragile and sometimes don't want to work
The hilarious bit was that period in the 20s and 30s where motorized vehicles where developed enough to be practical replacements for cavalry, yet militaries across the world just straight up said “nah, bro, we don’t want your armored cars and light tanks. Just give the horsies towed AT guns and *drive* them to the front line and we’ll be good”.
It wasn't all just old cavalry officers cope though. [Early experiments in motorized units had a lot of problems and were very dependent on good roads.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transcontinental_Motor_Convoy) And there wasn't like a single day when those problems were solved, it was gradual technological advances not a clear break.
Well, horses can have better mobility over steep rough terrain but they are more of a pain logistically for larger armies to deal with. Additionally, procurement is a pain: you can either have too much or too little.
Ah, this is Tomoe Umari, a military tomboy horsegirl vtuber.
She is, according to some sources, she's either in active aervice, or a former member of the military. She apparently also streams from her barrack, or at least did so for a while after her debut.
Just a disclaimer though, I'm not certain that those info are 100% confirmed to be correct, so take them with a grain of salt.
listen you fucking dorks, just sign a 3 year contract with the army that gets you a TS and then get out and go make 6 figures doing cool shit without a college degree. its easy and you freaks would love it.
She ain't got enough tits to justify that amount of wiggle.
And learn to enunciate and project your voice, soldier! Pvt. Potatoe can't hear you from the back!
I tried already in my country, they told me I will be most likely be unfit for duty due to chronic illness (I fall asleep very easily), I’m medicated and work perfectly normal but it’s still there. (I did not take a test, the dude told me what he thought would be most likely be my case)
I don’t think that would be different from the US
Damn, I would be happy to do anything. Even if it’s just as a mechanic or something like that.
dont worry, most jobs help out some in a war, a cashier can help get food to the workers and the workers make ammo, the weapons, the tires and more for the military
behind every good operation is a bunch of logistics, military and civilian

The military doesn't want me. I am a bit of a psychopath, or maybe it's done out of love... but once the switch flips from normal everyday life to completely destroy anything that threatens my family or way of life.... I become a walking war crime.
At least I can rest comfortably in the knowledge that if my inner demons are ever needed, then there is a good chance the US military will just not punish me for unleashing a righteous fury on our foes.
BRB, off to lead a cavalry charge across the plains of Ukraine (we're winning)
That's the *worst* euphemism for edging I've ever seen!
And then... American Calvary?! Arrived!
Fun fact. During the Revolution Kasimierz Pułaski tried to form a Lancer Corp in the US Army. So American Winged Hussars were this close.
Pulaski was gigabased. It's no wonder so many streets are named after him.
Coolest shit that never happened
We tried that once… “Into the Valley of Death rode the six hundred…”

Tbf, modern cavalry is just tanks(heavy cavalry) ans attack helicopters(light cavalry).
The Stryker Battalions need sabers.
DRIVE ME CLOSER SO I CAN HIT THEM WITH MY SWORD!
Engaging fleeing troops with your machine gun is so uncivilized. Charging routing troops with sabers drawn? Never out of fashion.
Have a guy pop out a window to stab people
I will not hear this sacrilege

Uma Musume: Brigade's Pretty Derby
Smh western horse fuckers can't lead a cavalry charge against roman controlled Dacia like us Dobrogean horse fuckers

Another vtuber to add to the collection…
She is super-duper American.

If they're encouraging thirst traps like Lujan, they're probably using it as covert recruitment ads.
I meant her presidential platform but that helps too

Kazimierz woman? Hell nah, give me the golden Polish uncle (all the Nearls are awesome).
Nearl genes are best genes.
Say hello to Tomoe Umari The us army horse girl vtuber
i’m crying rn, this is so non credible
The only non credible part is that the US doesn’t have her as the primary military recruiter

You phrase it like is a con but if you think about it if you run out of food it's nice that your fuel is also edible. Ya know what you can't eat? Oil.
Feeds you for the rest of your life tho
Big Agriculture don't want you to know this simple hack!

She said she is currently in the army during some of her more recent streams so, unless she is lying for whatever reason, she is indeed still serving.
Such a weird avenue of propaganda but I guess it works
She's a buff Vtuber tomboy. She has definitely secured the hearts of some of the people on this sub. >!Not my oshi, though.!<
And is also aggressively American, which is a positive in my book.
Damn, I'd like to hop in her saddle and smack her ass with a riding crop... FOR AMERICA!

> gets you a TS ...top surgery?
Top Secret clearance. It means Uncle Sam trusts you enough to let you know what happens when a mommy and a daddy F-35 love each other very much.
It’s probably just as complicated of a process… 🫡
Top Secret. Clearance level. A lot of places like hiring ex-military with a clearance.
Problem is I'm too old for military service, unless things go completely FUBAR and conscription is reinstated.
I thought she said UwUmerica at first.
Oh good, I'm not the only one.

It’s fucking happening. *Red alert it is not a drill, the Army is adapting!*
*I wanna be in the cavalry if they send me off to war*
Sadly I’m not American
