The guy is in Canada, and has no reason to. He is given a list of matches that must happen (Derbies, North Good Friday, Richmond Blues start, etc) and their dates. He does several fixtures for several comps (AFL, soccer, NBA, NFL, etc). He uses a computer program, plugs in the must happen matches and some other parameters (e.g 1 game on a Thursday or Friday, 2 games at x arena per week). Then the computer does its work. It does create oddities like our 2016 season, first 10 games we played 3 top 8 sides and were 9-1 and this season we got shafted with 5 contenders or near contenders.
I'm just guessing and not trying to be a smart-arse. But it's probably designed with a parameter that those clubs get more prime-time games like that
I'm always fascinated by the same 2 or 3 teams getting the Thursday and Friday night games, absolutely not random
People thinking we’re a chance against hawthorn are kidding themselves. They will smash us if we serve up the same shit we’ve served up so far this season
Yeah this isn't uncommon. Every year we're disappointed by our performances against strong sides, then optimistic against weaker sides. I think we're in for a serious reality check this weekend
On the top 10 of today's match in Fantasy points. North had 7/10 players. Just sadly couldn't utilise those stats to convert on the board. For the bottom 10 you just had 4 players and one of them was an injured player.
The list is there but the direction and management. I know Clarke is a massive and probably the most successful coach in recent years but Kangas just need the whole of the board to properly utilise them.
Just thought to share
Look, was it a shit performance? Yes but are we really surprised that we got rolled by 75 points against an undefeated team at their fortress that are pushing for the Grand Final? I was expecting 100+ points honestly.
No but he makes the same mistakes he has been making for 10 years and as captain too, he is open to more scrutiny, as is Jy. Two of our worst captains ever.
afl really dicked us down with the draw we got to start the season, ruined us mentally the cunts
Likely by design.

Have you got a link to that, I have always wondered
There was a 30 minute video published by the AFL a few months back about it
It's not random though, how does it determine that Carlton and Collingwood get to play all the Thursday or Friday games?

Did you see the stats of their midfielders? Their supporters will be thinking the complete opposite to this.
Their midfield got beaten by Witts, Rowell, Miller and Anderson. Ours got beaten by Stanley, Parfitt, Bruhn and Atkins. Pretty big difference
Time will tell I guess.

Yeh and if you played SuperCoach not fantasy you’d see the cats had 7/11 top scorers. They factor in efficiency.
..Yes that's one if the reasons why I mentioned Roos that it was a shame they couldn't convert
stats don’t equal wins
Yeah I realise that mate, that's why I wrote the other half

No im not . But i am suprised we got belted by the second worse team in the comp
Cope
Just think: Luke McDonald is a mult-millionaire, and the club wants you to give money to them so he can get paid for his "efforts"
Yeah the scape goating McDonald doesn't work today Not even close 2 the worst
