I'm using the LG 32 oled and LG 27GN950-B next to each other right now. I've only had it for a few hours so these are initial impressions: Desktop use/video editing in a very bright room: The oled at 100% in SDR is equal to about 50-60% on the IPS, which is a little disappointing but expected, but the glow/backlight bleed makes the IPS look *awful* next to the oled. It looks like there's a haze on the IPS. Huge difference at night but not as big during the day in this bright room. I think the oled just feels dimmer because dark colors are actually dark. Even a grey is way darker on oled. You can turn on peak brightness low/high which helps the oled get brighter even in SDR but I'm leaving it off for now. Matte never bothered me but the coating is better on the oled, reflections are dimmer. Text: A touch less sharp than 4k at 27'' but totally fine both light and dark. I run the oled at 100% scaling and the 27" at 125%. Gaming in light controlled room: The oled has ruined IPS gaming for me. I had to stop playing Alan Wake 2 because the glow was annoying. The oled is much more immersive and cinematic. GP950 looks terrible. I haven't noticed any flicker, but I did have some weird artifacts after alt tabbing once, but AW2 doesn't like alt tabbing in general. Size: Taking it out of the box the oled felt massive and I was concerned but on my desk it's a really nice size. If it's not going to break the bank it's a nice upgrade, but the benefits are less evident the brighter the room. I haven't used one but I imagine the QDOLEDs would be unusable with the amount of light i have coming in. I would still like a bit more brightness in SDR and the high mode may solve that but I still need to do some more research on it.

I have 27gn950-b and had a few 4K 240hz oled The 27gn950-b blacks are grey lol. So much random light coming in from the backlight - it’s all over the place. Non issue with oled of course. Text appeared better and more clarity on the glossy 4K oleds as well

I had the lg 27gp950 but sold it when I got my msi 321urx. The gp950 is significantly brighter but the 321urx is better in every other way

I have the LG 27GN950-B and the 32" Samsung G8 OLED. I used my galaxy S10's back facing camera to take the picture, so it's not the best quality. Left is 4K SDR mode. Right is 2K HDR mode. Unfortunately, there is some light coming in from the right side. I use left monitor for productivity, youtube, etc, and the right monitor for gaming. https://preview.redd.it/zqqsnbre1oxc1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7f773e8b73bbce15c87ec6c159b5852be98a301b

So, I have the GN and GP950's. I replaced the GN with the AW 3225QF. I have to move a few things around so I have room to put the GP950 back on my desk. So right now, the 3225qf replaced both lol.

I have the gp950 and tried Alienware oled 32 and was underwhelmed by loss of sharpness. Yes there is no light bleed on oled however blacks were more black on gp950. Overall it’s not a night and day improvement for me.
