Yep used to use one of these suckers but I kept it to about 30 max. Any longer and they get a bend in them. I worked at a centre on a hill so many co workers had the long line break and roll down the hill raining destruction.

I've legit seen the dude use a machine that has just been serviced the day before and render it inoperable in one 8 hour shift, half of which was inside. I still don't know how he hasn't been disciplined for it, after watching him do this for a decade, regardless of our union and state worker protections. The worst part is how the load slows the machine so much that you can do two 30 runs in the time it takes to do one 45. Most I've seen this coworker do was 153. No I don't know how the thing was still moving.

I think I counted 51

Cart herder? Yea you can take a lot in with them. That is a bit extreme. Target had them that was awesome but traffic got pissy yielding to you for 2 min. I think the limit was 20-25.

Hmm, at least he has a machine for it. I remember my days as a trolley monkey; we were never given a maximum number to do at once - I think my record was pushing 40 trolleys in one go. The trick was to use the middle as that way you could have a modicum of control over them!

Someone should organize a cart corral contest event. One challenge is the longest string of carts through an obstacle course. Another the fastest gathering and fastest moving (race) to a finish line. Any other events?

CBate

Knew a girl who was leading one of these and got her leg broken by it

ncocca

looks like they're using it to block the lane

"max cart limit: 30" *Pushes 60 with them* Sometimes we push so much that it takes some time for the cart herder to get momentum. We abuse the hell out of em.
