First off, you could dress in a burlap sack and make it look stunning.
Secondly, living in a hot area, maybe you can get some lightweight Bhakti or harem pants. A pair of those would look amazing with that top.
Once I heard this advice and I think it makes sense:
If you are wearing something with a big cleavage on the upper part, then choose long items for the lower part. If you have less skin showing on the upper part, then you can choose something shorter for the lower part.
Its just a matter of not showing everything, everywhere, all at once 😅
I’m from the south and it stays that hot here, but the other comment is still great advice. Where I live, they still keep it very cold inside buildings despite the heat outside (USA, I know not every country does things this way), so when I go to work or on a date, I’m able to wear pants regardless of how hot it is because I’m really only walking outside to and from the car. In places where they try to keep a better temperature equilibrium inside and outside the buildings, this is more of a challenge of course, which is understandable. With the right materials though, pants won’t be as hot. Some are heavy and hold heat in, but many are breathable that you could work with. It might be something to look into if you’re interested! Im not well-versed in fabrics yet, I wish I was so I could make those recommendations.
Regardless, I think the skirt in the first picture looks great! It’s styled well too in terms of placement.
i’m just wanted to add thank you for the compliment, but aside from the heat whenever i here this rule it just feels weird shame based? Idk I have a body, we all have bodies, skin isn’t inherently evil or sexual so as long as my privates are covered and i’m dressed well why does it matter how much skin is showing?
The top has a lot of exposure - so I would opt for something more baggier - like wide leg pants or a full length maxi column skirt with no huge slit. The midi skirt is ok - but still feels like a lot - but depends on context. 2 does not work at all.
I think the top is great and looks amazing on you but I don’t love it with either of these skirts. I like the length of the second shirt with it but not the colour and fabric. A wide leg pant or a skirt with a similar shape and length as pic 2 but with a heavier material in black (with a bold coloured shoe) or a bold bright colour or a metallic would look really good.
I mean it kind of depends on the vibe you’re going for? The first one matches very well, but the second one, the colors don’t match at all and the shape of the clothing isn’t very flattering in my opinion. And if you’re going for a badass look I would think like pair it with some green cargos or black pleated skirt
If I had to choose the first one but I don’t like the colors together because they’re like close but not close enough.
I’d go for dark blue denim, if you’re feeling creative with a green undertone, which typing out makes me realize I don’t see that color these days too often
OR
Dark olive if you’re going for anything else. The top lends itself to a more autumn color palette IMO
Edit: assuming it’s not a bodysuit maybe untuck the shirt with the second skirt. I think the colors go well together, but I’m not in love with the straight line of the tuck with that particular skirt.
I dont like the combinations, first one screams 45y/o divocee to me second one is too much. I would pick loose fitting pants cargo or pantalon. Or jeans.
Ik you are 45 then it suits you, but your knee loks much younger.
The first skirt looks so good as it matches perfectly with the color of the top!
thank you :):)
The first skirt. The second one doesn't work at all.
I would say since the top is on the more form-fitting side, some wide leg pants would look great
i like that idea, unfortunately it’s too hot for pants where i live (90+ degrees every day)
Linen is your friend!

I think the first skirt works! It's a cute outfit.

I’ve also always followed this rule. If I’m going booby- I cover the lower half, if I’m covered on top more, I’ll show soommmeee leg.
“Showing everything” lol, it’s a mid calf length skirt?? This sub is very conservative
Not at all! I didn't explained myself well, sorry.
as someone who lives in 90+ degree weather, that rule is followed by almost no one where i live
Ups, had no idea! 😄 Sorry from Portugal!

are jean shorts or jean skirt an option cuz that would do it. those two skirts are too busy for that top
The first is perrrrfect

First one is so cute
One
Can you keep looking ? Is that a unitard ? What’s the back look like ? If these are the 2 options :: 1.
1st pic is good!
first fits fantastically. (got carried away trying to get that alliteration, but yea, first is good, second doesn't match)
The first skirt!
The first skirt different top no to second all together
I like 1, looks great! 2 the top and skirt just kinda clash in a weird way. I feel like maybe a top with less texture would go better.
1st one!
The top is giving me heavy metal/ goth, and neither bottom matches.
The first skirt 100%, I thought it was a dress at first until I saw the second photo
First outfit!!
I think some jeans would look awesome honestly
That second skirt should be burned. It looks like you didn't have a towel and grabbed a silk scarf and wrapped it around your waist lol
1
2nd one I like the contrast
1st = cute
We need context. Where is this being worn? Then I’ll know if it works or not. I feel just looking at it, the first works best with no context.
The first , the second looks like a tea towel
The first matches . The second looks Luke a folded apron , potato sack or dish cloth
Try it with jeans (shorts or pants).
Both work but I love the first picture way more
First one is ok. Second one has too many textures going on, it just doesn't seem to flow together nicely.
Baggy jeans or long boho skirt
The first one is better for any occasion I can think of.

The top would look better with a flowy maxi skirt, a jean skirt or wide leg pants.
Definitely the floral skirt. But I think it would Look extra cute with high wasted jeans. ❤️
Where is the top from? 🤩🤩
1 for sure
Jeans
I’d suggest wearing black leather pants/leggings, heels and a black blazer over your shoulders for a modern day Olivia Newton-John moment!
If I had to choose the first one but I don’t like the colors together because they’re like close but not close enough. This shirt would look so good with jean shorts
Depends wher u going...., 1 is good for most places. 2 kinda whispers take me off slowly...
Second one! You've got the legs for it. And the lace seems like you're being very flirty and coy. Mysterious and engaging.
I’m really diggin that first outfit.
Nr 1 is nice imo
That top is fire omfg
First one is very pretty
The first skirt looks great with the top. (The second one shows off your great legs but doesn't really work with the top.)
The forest one its a 10
The first one is glorious
Definitely the 1st skirt!
Be better with blue jeans, or black pencil skirt
1st looks best with the top! The 2nd skirt doesn’t mesh as well colour-wise, perhaps if you added more of a gradient colour in a belt?
I think the second one is better. The pattern on the first skirt is too busy with the detail on the top.
Either works, but I like #2!
I think flared jean shorts would also look cute with this top
1st one
If the second skirt was plain it would be better.
First skirt for sure. The second one make you look like a waitress.
First looks good. Jeans would look good also.
You could wear a potato sack and still look fab - but skirt #1 gets my vote
First outfit is super cute!
I like them both tbh.
Love it with the short skirt.
I feel like this top screams for leather pants.
If it’s out of these two skirt choices only - skirt 2. The first one has too much pattern for the texture of the top in my opinion.
