I feel you. Got Skyrim vr all modded to perfection and outer wilds ready to go as well. 0 time to play them. Only vr time lately is in supernatural to get cardio at home during older kids nap lol.
Do what I did. I wanted to start Arizona Sunshine 2 first, but decided to just take a quick look how AW2 looks like, before jumping in AS2... long story short, before I knew it, I emptied Quest3 battery and was hooked. I'm now around 7-8 hours in and it's incredible.
I would say 8, there’s no jump scares or anything but being alone in a huge map with creatures everywhere makes it pretty scary especially in the night. I guess everyone has different experiences with it
Thrill of the Fight 2
Up until my purchase of quest 3 I still played the first game on my OG quest one for the past few years. That kept that headset going even though it takes almost 5 minutes to boot it up.
Awesome. I had no idea they were making a sequel. Let's hope it has a full campaign and voice acting, would love to feel like I'm getting real coaching.
Good point. But if numbers do make them nervous, they could just change the name after the colon:
Half Life: Dog.
Half Life: Weird Science.
Half Life: Gordon.
Would love to see this. Toy Monsters is as close as we got now. Great game faithful to the pvz mechanics but only 12 levels... Plays well in VR\MR like a table to game.
I heard there is a fanmade portal game that takes place between two and one. It was supposed to come out today
"Here come the test results... You are a horrible person. That's what it says; a horrible person.
We weren't even testing for that."
My hope it’s something I haven’t heard about yet. I love new stuff, but I have so many great Questions games already that I’d be set even if nothing was released in 2024.
Already busy with Asgards Wrath 2 and have already played Assassins Creed NEXUS. For this year there isn’t much though I am hoping for GTA San Andreas and maybe a game showcase that will announce other large games.
I'm not aware of any 2024 titles to look forward to. There are a lot of games I wish were getting VR releases, like Demonologist or Ready or Not, but that doesn't seem likely. I've been hoping for a proper MMORPG but I'm not even aware of any in development. (I've played Zenith and appreciated it, just looking for something new).
They’ve been promising an update for ages now and haven’t been giving us much for over a year now, almost 2. Just check out the bonelab subreddit or google it, all I know is something about updating the SDK.
Supernatural VR hopefully coming to Europe.
Underdogs and Behemoth look awesome!
But I'll probably enjoy playing a smaller Indië experience the most. Can't wait to see what hidden gems pop up next year.
Something like tiny archers looks cute, think it's currently in app lab but haven't tried it myself.
Definitely Blade and Sorcerys full release, I'm very hype for it
Only thing is I can't decide if I should stop using certain mods while playing crystal hunt because I have some quite overpowered mods
I...don't actually think I have anything I'm genuinely looking forward to this year.
There are some I'm keeping an eye on - Stalker 2, Homeworld 3, Dragon's Dogma 2, etc. But I can't really say that I'm actually looking forward to them. I'll look at them when they release, read the reviews, see if they sound interesting enough. But I can't think of anything coming this year that's just "OMG, I'm buying it on release!" There's a few games like it, like Light No Fire, but it's unlikely to release this year.
Yeah...sorry about that, I didn't notice the subreddit I was on. I could have sworn I was still in r/gaming. Also...it kinda still applies. Stalker 2 and Homeworld 3 are Unreal Engine games, with the new injector they'll be playable on PC VR with Quest 3, theoretically.
But my position is still the same. The currently announced stuff is more of the same - short, shallow, repetitive roguelites, 3-4 hr "experiences", etc. Nothing special to look forward to. Into the Radius 2 is interesting, but it won't launch this year, except maybe in Early Access, and certainly not on Quest, it'll be on PC first.
I guess if I had to pick, Behemoth looks curious. But we know precious little about it, and the developer isn't reliable. Retribution is a buggy, broken mess and they left it like that, full of bugs, and moved on. So I don't feel like giving them more money is a good idea.
I am kinda curious if Zenith can recover though. The devs have been hyping the upcoming patch pretty hard, though provided literally zero details. They're taking sign-ups for a play test under NDA right now, if anyone is interested.
Ive been wondering that about Homeworld 3.. technically playable.. but PLAYABLE? I wonder if the UI and overlays etc will work well enough in VR.
Ive not been able to try the injector mod yet
Yeah, we'll have to wait and see. Some games work really well with the injector, but some are a bit janky/blinky. But it's been less than week, it's still early days, beta version and all that. So far it's freakishly promising. Someone even managed to get The Quarry to work, apparently, and that means the whole Dark Pictures Anthology (Man of Medan, House of Ashes, etc) is up for grabs. Even Redfall isn't too bad, when played in VR.
Bulletstorm, Into the Radius 2, Wanderer Fragments of Fate, Behemoth. There are plenty of games announced for 2024 that should be good and this is just what we know.
I'm upgrading from a Rift CV1 to a Quest 3 in the next few weeks. I'm just excited to play all my VR games again at a much better level of quality.
I'm definitely going to play Alyx finally. Some Elite Dangerous VR. And a bunch of these cool games like Superhot that were annoying being tethered for. 😀
Weird how 2023 was full of games I wanted to play, but there are 0 for 2024. AC Nexus, Asguards Wrath 2, Dungeons of Eternity..
These are all released in the later half of 2023 weren't they? We're not even a month into 2024.
Yeah, but there is nothing announced for 24 that I am hyped about
I'm excited for GTA san andreas. hopefully it comes out this year
seems like a pipe dream at this point tbh
Behemoth? Wanderer? Probably Firmament... Also that game Vault of the Vampire (or something like that) from I Expect You to Die devs looks great.
I don't even know that many games
I keep looking too and I can’t find shit
Finding the time to play Asgard's Wrath 2
I feel you. Got Skyrim vr all modded to perfection and outer wilds ready to go as well. 0 time to play them. Only vr time lately is in supernatural to get cardio at home during older kids nap lol.
I've got to stop playing skyrim vr and play these other games I bought.
Bulletstorm
Yeah, definitely playing bulletstorm.
Is this the remake of the existing one? "I'll kill your dick!"
It's a VR port of the 2011 FPS of the same name. Less of a remake.
I heard Brainstorm.. or was it Green Needle? 🤔
Definitely into the radius 2, so pumped for the multiplayer and the map looks 10x more detailed in the images
i shit myself so so many times playing that. didn't know 2nd is coming, nice
same man wish I knew going into the game that it would be that scary 😂
[удалено]
I would say 8, there’s no jump scares or anything but being alone in a huge map with creatures everywhere makes it pretty scary especially in the night. I guess everyone has different experiences with it
10 times the detail
Yep
When is it coming?
The full game is early 2025 according to the devs and early access this year
I haven't played the first one yet. Is there any Q3 update coming to the first one? I'm trying to buy games that will have updates.
They have a q3 update out. I didn't play the original first so can't say how different it looks.
I don’t believe so but it is definitely a must play game in my opinion it’s the best vr game on the standalone quest
Yes there is a Q3 zpdate. But if you have a capable pc try out the PCVR Version. It is included for free and the grapics are very good.
What is.free bro
If you have the quest version of the game, you get the PC Quest version for free.
Thrill of the Fight 2 Up until my purchase of quest 3 I still played the first game on my OG quest one for the past few years. That kept that headset going even though it takes almost 5 minutes to boot it up.
Awesome. I had no idea they were making a sequel. Let's hope it has a full campaign and voice acting, would love to feel like I'm getting real coaching.
Attack on Titans
San Andreas 😬
What 2027 games are you looking forward to?
We will hear it’s canned or its release year this year. If the SCVR pattern holds.
Just play gta 5 in vr…wayyyyyy betta
What 2024 games are even coming out?
Taskmaster VR
For real im very excited for this.
I really hope it allows for outside the box solutions to tasks like how the contestants can circumvent the task.
chuffed to bits this is being made, hopefully its a good party game too. next we need a shooting stars VR game....
Gunman contracts
I really wish this would come to Quest :(
Woah I didn't know that was getting its own game very cool
Wanderer and behemoth look the most promising, I just want to see what can be graphically achieved on the quest 3 natively.
Death Game Hotel. Not sure if it will come out this year but this game seems like a fun visual novel.
Underdogs looks interesting. It's a roguelike mech brawler from the creators of Racket NX.
I'm excited for this game to release, I have seen a small amount of gameplay from their yt and it looks amazing, can't wait.
We're coming up on 4 years since Half Life: Alyx was released, so I'm looking forward to the next Half Life game. ... ... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Hey Valve does know how to make at least one sequel for their games so a HL:A2 isn’t completely out of the realm of possibility.
Good point. But if numbers do make them nervous, they could just change the name after the colon: Half Life: Dog. Half Life: Weird Science. Half Life: Gordon.
I’d take all three.
If they are indeed releasing a portable VR headset then a title is guaranteed
You already know that wont come unless its packaged with their own headset, that is supposedly coming some time this century 🤣
They need to make a plants vs zombies lol
Would love to see this. Toy Monsters is as close as we got now. Great game faithful to the pvz mechanics but only 12 levels... Plays well in VR\MR like a table to game.
A game like that wouldn’t benefit from vr imo.
They could make it for AR, that could be fun
Ya that may be pretty cool.
It would be fun tho. There are a lot of pvz fans out there. Just saying I'd love to have that game on VR.
Taskmaster is set to release this year, love the show and think the concept will work great in VR!
Any chance Phasmaphobia will finally come out natively? Iv always wanted to play it but my PC isn't good enough.
I would love that honestly. Ghost hunting on standalone VR? Sign me up!
I kinda can't believe it hasn't happened yet since it's been on PCVR for so long and doesn't seem like much of a system hog.
Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if when it goes to console it gets a vr port for Xbox game pass. We can dream
Skydance's Behemoth!:)
I’m still playing AC nexus and Asgards Wrath.
Into the radius 2
Isn't that 2025 though?
It shouldnt
Fingers crossed
Behemoth all the way!!! I'm so excited!!!
Stranger things. Thrill of the fight 2
Portal 3 ... come on ;)
This please
I heard there is a fanmade portal game that takes place between two and one. It was supposed to come out today "Here come the test results... You are a horrible person. That's what it says; a horrible person. We weren't even testing for that."
My hope it’s something I haven’t heard about yet. I love new stuff, but I have so many great Questions games already that I’d be set even if nothing was released in 2024.
I guess it's not guaranteed for 2024, but I'm looking forward to The Burst.
Thanks! We're working really hard to make sure it releases in 2024, no worries!
The demo I played a couple of months back was already really fun, so I can't wait to experience thee rest of the story!
Contractors showdown
Yep, can't wait. Pop1 is too weird.
What is the release date?
Already busy with Asgards Wrath 2 and have already played Assassins Creed NEXUS. For this year there isn’t much though I am hoping for GTA San Andreas and maybe a game showcase that will announce other large games.
GTA SA seems hypothetical now
wish they would release "the mighty eighth Vr"
Blood trail on quest. Devs said they’d do it
I'm not aware of any 2024 titles to look forward to. There are a lot of games I wish were getting VR releases, like Demonologist or Ready or Not, but that doesn't seem likely. I've been hoping for a proper MMORPG but I'm not even aware of any in development. (I've played Zenith and appreciated it, just looking for something new).
Stranger Things VR.
Ancient Dungeon's official multiplayer release, Blade & Sorcery 1.0 & the big Bonelab update!
Ancient dungeon is the absolute best…until you beat it…than its like…why play more
What's the big bonelab update?
They’ve been promising an update for ages now and haven’t been giving us much for over a year now, almost 2. Just check out the bonelab subreddit or google it, all I know is something about updating the SDK.
Supernatural VR hopefully coming to Europe. Underdogs and Behemoth look awesome! But I'll probably enjoy playing a smaller Indië experience the most. Can't wait to see what hidden gems pop up next year. Something like tiny archers looks cute, think it's currently in app lab but haven't tried it myself.
Tiny archers looks neat, havent seen it. It looks like the tower defense mode in in death unchained. Which i'm addicted to.
Looking forward for the new test drive unlimited
Blunt Force or Unrecord, might be good. We will see.
First half : VRSO Second half: all on board and escape simulator vr
Is Beatsaber getting an MR mode? Meta demoed something like that.
Definitely Blade and Sorcerys full release, I'm very hype for it Only thing is I can't decide if I should stop using certain mods while playing crystal hunt because I have some quite overpowered mods
Help wanted 2 is what my boy is excited about. I just want time to get through assassins creed, asgards wrath, and I want to finish resident evil 4
Thrasher Wanderer Paint the Town Red
Stranger Things
If we are talking about Quest exclusives, I think Batman VR, and new games from Twisted Pixel and Armature will release this year.
I hope bulletstorm is good
Thrill of the fight 2
I'll try to finish cyberpunk in VR by 2077.
mainly wanderer and bulletstorm. GTA SA would be nice, but still getting my open world kicks from Revria on applab
MSFS2024
Underdogs looks pretty cool.
I...don't actually think I have anything I'm genuinely looking forward to this year. Something like Marvel Powers United. Never got a chance to try it, and now I have a Quest 3 and cannot find it.
No games are releasing this year for vr or not vr.
Star Wars outlaws looks really good
Titanfall 3 and sea of thieves 2😭
In VR? I think you misunderstood the assignment :D
Sea of Thieves would be a sick VR game, though.
Didnt see the sub nor read the title well😂
I mean, can you list them?
I'm upgrading from a Rift CV1 to a Quest 3 in the next few weeks. I'm just excited to play all my VR games again at a much better level of quality. I'm definitely going to play Alyx finally. Some Elite Dangerous VR. And a bunch of these cool games like Superhot that were annoying being tethered for. 😀
I'm the most hyped about Bahemoth even tho we haven't seen any ingame footage yet. Also Thrill of the Fight 2.
Mine's already here... PrayDog's unreal engine VR injector.
Bulletstorm ♥️ one of my all time favourite ♥️
Automoblista 2 Career mode update. Even if it's on par with project cars 2 career mode and nothing more id be extatic. Also EA WRC VR support update
