Yep, that's essentially what I opened this thread to type. I use it for whatever I am interested in, in the moment. Sometimes that's MR, sometimes it's VR. That's the best part about the Quest 3. You get both.
Depends what I’m playing really.
For The Thrill of the Fight, Eleven, or Pool, MR is great for seeing the space you can move in.
Chilling out with Puzzling Places or Lego, I can watch TV with MR, or see people coming if I’ve got downtime in the office.
I do still play a fair bit of VR too though.
That's the cool thing about it. It doesn't have to be one or the other.

Op is just wondering and wants to see the difference. This is clear, let's not be difficult.

The thrill of the fight is amazing. You have to try Toy Monsters, it will make you believe in Mixed Reality.
Toy Monsters is a nice example, but tower defence games don't really do it for me personally.
VR. MR is still way too early. Give it another 5-10 years to actually look real and blend with reality properly.
True, it's just cool that we are at the foundational level already.
Movies and YouTube are great with pass through, so I’d probably say 60% MR and 40% VR. But that changes based on the month.
VR I only play MR to play ping-pong and avoid hitting the walls mid-game.
