I agree with Delimorte but to add that it really nailed the experience of feeling like Iron Man with the flying and shooting, that is why I have high hopes they can nail the felling of Batman as well as the Flat games.
Yup, that first airplane level is still one of my defining VR moments. I had no idea it would make you feel that awesome. Graphics weren't the greatest (on Quest 2...probably a lot cleaner on PSVR1?) but the voiceover work and story was actually quite polished and professional. Probably one of many things that caught Meta's eyes and they saw potential.
This is not even close to being true, and I'm a huge advocate for PCVR being better than PSVR2.
To say standalone Quest 2 looks better than PSVR1 is outrageous.
A lot of reviewers felt the Quest 2 Iron Man VR was better in some things but worse in more. Lower Resolution and aggressive fixed foveated rendering dampen the clarity of the game but it's still a faithful port. The Quest 3 can handle the game easily at both higher resolution and fidelity but you need to use sidequest or Quest games optimizer since there's no official patch.
The Quest 3 is much better than PSVR1 but still a far way from PSVR2 like you said.
It does, and quest 3 looks better than psvr2. The Ps5 can push out better graphics. But the headset itself has better visual quality and clarity on quest.
Yes, the Q2 headset has better specs than the PSVR1. But it cannot render graphics even close to what the PS4 can produce. Anyone who has used both knows this. To say the Quest 2 standalone looks better is extremely misleading, like saying a 1440p monitor playing Oregon Trail looks better than a 1080p monitor playing GTA5.
My friend, I'm 46 and I definitely had a PS2. I played this on the PSVR1 and it was certainly not ps3 era graphics (far too barren in the open world).
Also, it was a fun game. It just could have used a lot more resources in the art department.
It's a surprisingly solid game. The mechanics of flying with your hands like Iron Man does work way better than you'd think. The story and graphics are all quite good as well.
It's easy enough to figure out that my 8yo has made it through half the game but still challenging and fun though that I was smiling the whole time I played it.
Awesome and absolutely worth it. More like the comics/cartoon than than the MCU but that’s ok. Shows the potential of a game like Batman being possible.
Your flying around arenas? You have the ability to go where you want and the levels are pretty reasonably sized. If it felt on rails it probably says something about the combat and how fluid it can be whilst in flight.
You can literally go anywhere, traditionally 'on rails' means there is a corridor of movement in which you can move a small bit ala star fox or you are stuck in a predetermined path such as time crisis. If anything you could call it an arena shooter more similar to doom 2016/ eternal where you are fighting enemies in locked area.
I haven't tried Ironman VR but the fact they made Republique (stealth game) which I did play 2D version and enjoyed got my interest, recently trying it through VR with the commentary if its the same people seems it might be in good hands
I loveddd it and I was sad when I beat it.
Something i don't see in the other comments was that the boss battles, were actually great!
I think I had no expectations, and me saying how great they are maybe might affect someone else's enjoyment of it.. But... I thought they were super unique in comparison to other vr games i've played. They were really engaging and they were also well varied.
I really like the look of the superhero vibe in Iron Man but repetitious gameplay puts me off buying it...
Can anyone who played it let me know if it involves any sort of environmental puzzle element? I only really enjoy action/shooters where you have to stop and think at times on how to progress - perfect examples for me are half life games and Vertigo games...
> Kill TJL
I stopped hearing anything about it like two weeks after release. To think Rocksteady was forced by WB execs to make that dreck and basically ruin the studio. I bet most of the Arkham Trilogy talent are long gone now.
The developers did work on Arkham: Origins, and imho tried to promote it in a way that would lead people to associate it with the Arkham games, but yeah not officially related and certainly not the fault of Rocksteady.
Interested to see what gameplay will look like. Assassin's Creed showed you can have some level of complexity and a proper stealth game can be done. I'm hoping Batman leans towards that direction vs Arkham VR which wasn't all that impressive.
Another awesome franchise coming to VR and a Q3 exclusive at that.
I am looking forward to seeing what can be done with games specifically built for the Q3.
Hope this and the Alien game don't disappoint.
This makes the "nooo Quest 2 isn't dead" discussion from a few days ago even funnier. Happy that devs don't have to limit themselves and get develop with Quest 3 as their target
It kinda makes sense for first party to focus on latest and greatest, unlikely that 3rd party developers will ignore the massive Q2 userbase anytime soon.
Yeah, Meta wants you to buy the newest headset and needs reasons for you to do that.
I read that the Q2 is currently out selling the Q3 by a ratio of 3:1 and that dosent factor in previous sales.
If you make a game the quest 2 can play as well you're getting potentially more than 4x the sales.
If I'm a 3rd party developer, there better be a very good reason why I'm making it exclusive.
Yeah, I just got it on sale, $200 and got a $50 gift card with it, effectivly making it $150. I'd love a Quest 3, but I'd I'm not willing to spend over 3x as much for it right now.
Now if the Quest 3 had a ton of awesome games, then I'd be really interested.
Got mine about a month ago through target. Been wanting one for a while and couldn't belive the price. Been pretty fun, my wife supprisingly loves it too, she thought it would make her too dizy, but she's been able to play for an hour or two at a time with no issues.
Definatly recomend a better band though if you end up using it a ton. Night and day, especially with the battery on the back.
That's a crazy stat, but makes sense given the price difference. Got a source?
I'm guessing this will also be on q3 lite so hopefully more people will get to play it that way.
Here's one, just holiday sales where I'm getting the 3:1 numbers, and that was before the recent price drop to $200. Other sources are estimating around the same.
Hard to give total numbers when Meta dosen't release them theirselves.
I think the holiday sales won't be a fair representation of the sales ratio throughout the year though to be fair. Parents buying little timmy his first VR headset for christmas will obviously just get the quest 2, whereas sales to adults buying their own tech will skew more towards the quest 3
Maybe, but I'm an adult doing well financially and decided to get the Quest 2 over the 3 just last month. I got it for $150 vs the $500 pricetag of the Q3.
Anyone new to VR is going to look at the price tag and see that they could get three Q2s and a few games for the price of one Q3. While the Q3 is tempting, it's just not 3x as good, especially when you're not even sure you like VR or not. Personally I can't see many adults who don't already have a headset choosing the Q3.
Then your logic above also assumes that adults are the main demographic for VR, which I'm not so sure of.
It's really not dead.. the fact that a new gen has exclusives is nothing new.. PS5 generated like 20 exclusives by now, and PS4 is nowhere near being dead
I bet 90% of upcoming games will also be for Q2
Yes, if this comes out as exclusive, it doesn't mean that my Q2 is any less functional or of any less value than it is today. It just provides a compelling reason for me to upgrade.
Why does everyone act like this isnt like every single last-gen console work?
When did Sony last make a AAA game for PS4?
Yes this is how it works.. a company that wants her new gen console to sell, makes exclusives for it. That's how it's been for a decade...
And not just indies, no. There are other studios that aren't Meta.. so if a studio wants more sales, they'll develop for Q2 as well, since there are way more Q2 than Q3 still.. just like many AA and AAA studios still made games for PS4 (and still do)
Yes, 3 years after its release, more and more games are PS5 exclusives, even from non-Sony studios. PS4 is still going strong though
The diffirence is ps4 and 5 are decades apart and ps5 provides huge upgrades from what was capable with ps4. Most people literally wont notice a diffirence. Them making quest 3 exclusives is like sony saying the new GOW is a ps5 pro exclusive. Cant you see how its frustrating for people who just bought quest 2 a year or two ago and cant afford to throw out another 450 for a slight upgrade. Quest 2 isnt old gen it came out 3 years before quest 3 and most people are still buying the "old gen" over new gen i doubt thats happening with any other console
Umm ok, yes it's frustrating, but it doesn't mean it's not to be expected. Be mad they released a new gen after just 2 years.
If the PS5 was released 1 year after PS4 it would be sure to upset many of the clients of course. It still doesnt mean you should be surprised that along with a new gen come exclusives
100% games in the *whole last week*?!?
Dude, when ps5 was *announced*, there were 3 exclusives *at launch*.
It is actually quite outrageous there are Q3 exclusives only *months* after its release
My response is half joking, but in all seriousness, Survios’ Alien game and now an Arkham game being quest 3 exclusives are huge. There might’ve been 10 sort of shovelware standalone indie VR games also announced in that timeframe, but I promise you they aren’t nearly as interesting and potentially impactful to the mass market.
I think you're thinking of games you were interested in. Just in the last 2 months you had Stellar Blade, Rise of the Ronin and Dragon's Dogma 2.
But yes, it's mostly starting now after about 3 years after launch to really feel like ps4 is a bit behind. Over until 2024 it felt as relevant as ever
It really sucks for Quest 2 owners, but if meta wants mainstream adoption and compete against whatever Apple Vision (non pro) is coming next year with, they need higher quality content in the marketplace.
I understand recommending people the Quest 2 due to the price. But it just still never makes sense to me, you’re just setting that person up to be disappointed most the time. Same thing happened in transition between quest 1 and 2.
Everyone saying quest 1 was still a great buy, (which it was) but then by the end of the year, the best games coming out were only for Quest 2 and quest 1 people were upset and a constant spam of threads like “Just bought the Quest 1 and it’s already obsolete?”
Personally I don’t even let my friends use my Quest 2. If anything I’ll use it when playing w them. Just not worth setting that person up for disappointment or the “it’s just not there yet” sentiment when they are already on the fence about VR and wanted to see what it’s all about.
As a Q2 owner that can't upgrade this year, l'll hope for the same situation from RE4, where meta said it wasn't able to run on Q1 but modders made it run just fine.
Oh yea, that would be awesome. I only had a Quest 1 myself back then and was beyond hyped when modders made that possible, a couple of dips here and there didn't break the experience
Quest 2 isnt dead. And it shouldnt die what is the point of upgrading for another £450 for the slightest of upgrades the only people that upgraded from quest 2 are hardcore vr players and people with money to blow. Its like buying a ps5 pro when you have a ps5. Like why them making a pointlessly more expensive headset for diffirences nobody would notice and making games exclusive to that is frustrating and isnt addressing the main problem with vr.
It was more of an interactive experience than a full game, but it looked great! One of my first PCVR experiences. Still remember the moment the piano dropped down into the Batcave and being in awe.
It was one of my earliest VR games so maybe I'm biased but I thought that Batman VR experience was awesome (was on sale for around $6-7 so I also can't complain about the rather short length).
When I saw Robin and Joker life-sized next to me I was in awe and said "This is the future!"
The PCVR game was cool, but it felt like an opening tutorial or first mission only. I was like "I can't wait to do at least 30 more scenarios like this one!" and that's when I hit the game over/thanks for playing screen. There's some replay value in collecting the riddler trophies but to me it was way too short.
Becsuse they are taking massive losses to build a brand and ecosystem. Porting to another OS with a tiny audience that never buys games defeats their entire purpose.
For a lot of people is still cheaper to get a Q3 instead of getting a new PC or upgrading one to be able to play a hypothetical PC version. It's also a lot more easy just playing it standalone than messing around with a PC connection, no matter if wired or wireless.
The amount of people that would actually benefit from Meta releasing this on PC is much lower than the amount that they can convince to upgrade to a new device. It makes no sense for them to do that.
People like you truly don’t understand that meta WANTS you to buy their headset, and use it. They do not care about PCVR, they will not launch content for PCVR, as their focus is standalone. That is the whole reason why they are tanking billions of dollars in losses with their VR department every year, so people see value in the quest, and buy it.
Yikes, looked over at /r/Gaming and /r/Games to see what they think, and lots of general VR hate. Not as bad as the 2017 days (where they said VR would die a quick death) but still bad after all this time. They seem angrier with this Batman VR news than the AC Nexus news.
They seem to hate Meta anything, some just hate VR anything and are mad about this news, and calling this game a waste of developer money. I get the frustration of Rocksteady and Arkham but that's not VR's fault - that's a separate issue. And Rocksteady wasn't going to make a fourth Arkham game when they said they were moving on. If you hate the Suicide Squad game, blame WB for pushing for that.
But VR has been starving for AAA titles so you cannot blame VR for getting something finally when 2D gamers have had endless AAA to choose from.
A $200 headset is "insanely expensive"? Didn't question that with the Switch. Or if we're talking about the Quest 3, I wonder how many people batted an eye when they got a PS5 and Series X. Was that insanely expensive then?
They need to get over themselves.
the inevitable upgrade to Quest 3 is finally nearing
Batman, Alien, probably Behemoth won't come to Quest 2. Plus dozens of games already got some great updates...
This is nuts!! I wasn’t expecting a full Quest 3 exclusive this early after release, I figured they’d try to cling onto the older hardware for a while. And I definitely didn’t expect a whole Arkham game!! I’m so excited for this!
They'll definitely have to lower the enemy count since it would be too hectic in VR, and Batman doing flips probably won't work well in first person (unless everyone has played Sairento VR).
But I'm fine with that. If they can make the martial arts fighting engaging and make you feel badass, but also have a challenge to it where timing is important, this could be a winner.
They probably couldve made up different name. Obviously 1st person makes most sense in vr, but there are plenty 3rd person games and that combat style with Batman leaping left and right would be quite rough. Maybe its both?
More major quest 3 exclusives......wow the quest 2 is being left behind faster than I thought but I'm not really surprised, the power of the quest 3 gives a lot more headroom for devs to play with and that might be more important than shipping a game that doesn't represent their vision to a larger user base.
Also devs might be betting on the quest 3 lite being as successful as the quest 2 (at this point major devs should have access to the quest 3 lite dev kits so they know more than we do and that could influence thier strategies)
Now let us get an Indiana Jones vr game please and thank you.
Seriously tho, having full on popular IP being developed for our standalone VR sets is amazing, and I am so here for it.
POV: you didn’t put the toilet seat down in the restroom.

This is so exciting!!!!! It's about time we got some Quest 3 games showing the headset's awesome muscles without the drag of dumbing down the headset to have the game work for quest 2. Good times ahead. Realy can't wait to c what the Quest 3 is capable of... and even pushing it to its limits..
As for the game... comeon.. who doesn't get excited for BATMAN!
Great news. It was well known that Camouflaj were making a Batman game but i didn't think it would be part of the Arkham franchise. I think there will be a bigger reveal at the summer gameshow thingy (with a small amount of gameplay footage) but a week or so later there will be the Meta Showcase where there will be a deep dive like they did last year with Asgards Wrath 2.
Holy shit, I just started replaying Arkham Knight over this past weekend after a long while, and of course I want a legitimate sequel on console... but god damn am I glad I picked up a Quest 3!
Well, seems like we Quest 3 users are eating this year. Great!
Ice on the cake would be having some news for GTA SA on the Summer Fest showcase, but it's great seeing some exclusives finally to see what that new chip is capable of.
This game will look shockingly good. I mean, this game is going to blow up like no one will believe. Having the balls to show a teaser with pre-rendered video means they are going to try and target that look and feel and I bet they will get pretty close. Holy crap this is exciting.
They should make an Alien: Isolation style game where you’re a lowly crook trying to evade Batman, who’s uncovered your heist and is picking off your accomplices one at a time.
Damn, just bought a Quest 2 for my girlfriend and I, and now I have to worry about when I can get a quest 3. Great stuff though, and I’m sure the Q2 will live a very long and healthy 3rd party shelf life!
cool stuff, I just wish someday on whatever platform people start giving other dc heroes a chance. It's beyond me why we still don't have a proper superman game. There's like 5 arkham games out already... not to mention arkham knights that still lingers to the batfamily.... damn, give-me superman, give me a green lantern game, arrow, flash, cyborg, wonder woman, there's tons of cool chars... but it's always bat bat bat bat bat bat, oh here's another bat game. ugh. Don't get me wrong those are great games and i'm sure the vr title will be great... i'm just tired of the same char all the time.
Let the 'but but no cross-gen' whining begin! 😅
Seriously, it's pretty normal for exclusive Q3 games to be announced sooner or later. Why should devs be restricted to last-gen hardware? It's the circle of console generations. It also shows Meta believes in Q3.
Come to think of it, someone posted here a while ago that we'd be seeing some really cool Q3 games really soon.
Really cool announcement, curious to see some gameplay next month.
> Come to think of it, someone posted here a while ago that we'd be seeing some really cool Q3 games really soon.
Was it an inside employee or do you mean a regular Reddit user speculating?
its sad its only for quest 3. I dont think most people have that and just stuck with the quest 1 or 2 wish it would come to pc. There's doesn't seem to be much of a point to upgrade and these games just arent enough to go out and spend another 450
Ah ffs, why standalone exclusive again? ACNexus was unplayable with the stutter, I was hoping meta was becoming a bit more accepting of PCVR again since the link app updates.
Damn, I saw it in my store and got so excited, I went straight here, but I only have a quest 2. I wish they would have made it more clear it’s only for quest 3 or maybe not even shown it to me since I’ve only registered a quest 2.

How was Ironman vr? I saw it for sale
Pretty dam fun overall. the enemies get a bit repetitive and the city levels look and play terrible but I thought it was definitely worth a buy.
I liked the fact that the voice actor they used sounded exactly like Robert Downey Jr.
That was Josh Keaton
The best part is the prologue with jumping out of the plane. Where the Iron Man VR logo and the suit fly to you in pieces.
How do you buy a game? It keeps saying I need a code from an authenticator app. I don't know what that is.
It’s a Google autheticator
I agree with Delimorte but to add that it really nailed the experience of feeling like Iron Man with the flying and shooting, that is why I have high hopes they can nail the felling of Batman as well as the Flat games.

Very wrong. PCVR is the best, PSVR is second.
It was super fun but it definitely had PS2 era graphics.
That’s why I’m so excited to see what a Q3 exclusive in-house can do. AW2 and AC both look amazing but also run on Q2.
People need to stop saying that if they never had a PS2 I did and the graphics were better than that.

Pretty good imo. It's a more dated game (released 2020) but holds up well
It's easy enough to figure out that my 8yo has made it through half the game but still challenging and fun though that I was smiling the whole time I played it.
I didn’t enjoy it. Very samey and repetitive and it made me feel sick and I have exceptionally good VR legs I returned it.
a ton of fun, get it you wont regret it. If you dont have a coupon that dog meta site for referrals should give you a nice discount too
Awesome and absolutely worth it. More like the comics/cartoon than than the MCU but that’s ok. Shows the potential of a game like Batman being possible.
Keep though the graphics and gameplay were a bit dated, but it’s 4 years old, hoping this game is less on the rails
I like it, it's fun.
Very on-rails like
Ironman VR isn't on rails at all.. you just think it is from the trailers.
It might not be technically on rails but it did feel like that for me when I playing it.

Very nice maybe this will erase some of the damage Kill TJL and Gotham knights did. Assuming it's good of course
> Kill TJL I stopped hearing anything about it like two weeks after release. To think Rocksteady was forced by WB execs to make that dreck and basically ruin the studio. I bet most of the Arkham Trilogy talent are long gone now.
If you look in the comments of the teaser trailer you wouldn't think so lol
It's an absolute shame, so many ignorant comments that are spewing so much misinformation, flatout lies, or overall making moronic conclusions.
Gotham knights has nothing to do with the batman arkham games.
The developers did work on Arkham: Origins, and imho tried to promote it in a way that would lead people to associate it with the Arkham games, but yeah not officially related and certainly not the fault of Rocksteady.
Legitimate use of VR. I'm Batman!
Yeah that's pretty much the best use case for VR I can think of!
Yeah, im man
Interested to see what gameplay will look like. Assassin's Creed showed you can have some level of complexity and a proper stealth game can be done. I'm hoping Batman leans towards that direction vs Arkham VR which wasn't all that impressive.
I'm fairly certain it won't be like Arkham VR only because that was really more of a tech demo/promotional tool for Arkham Knight.

Quest 2 is outselling because it currently costs $199.99 USD. so yeah Meta needs more big games taking advantage of the Quest 3 hardware
This is how I felt at Q3 launch and still how I feel now especially with access to PCVR.
Hey! I just got almost that same exact deal! It actually just got here this morning. I’m waiting until my day off to unbox and try it out.
Got mine about a month ago through target. Been wanting one for a while and couldn't belive the price. 150 bucks for the quest 2 is an absolute steal. Congrats.
Seems like a major amount will be coming in the near future. I'm expecting tons of announcements leading up to and during June.

To 4:1 when the Q2 goes on sale even further this summer?
No when the the Q2 gets discontinued and replaced by the quest 3 lite in just a few months
FYI quest 2 is currently at $150 on Amazon today
Still wouldn't recommend it to anyone at this point unless they exclusively use PCVR in which case it's still a good headset.
It's really not dead.. the fact that a new gen has exclusives is nothing new.. PS5 generated like 20 exclusives by now, and PS4 is nowhere near being dead I bet 90% of upcoming games will also be for Q2
Yes, if this comes out as exclusive, it doesn't mean that my Q2 is any less functional or of any less value than it is today. It just provides a compelling reason for me to upgrade.
The correct mindset
Indie games yes, but Meta clearly wants Q3 to be the baseline going forward.
Why does everyone act like this isnt like every single last-gen console work? When did Sony last make a AAA game for PS4? Yes this is how it works.. a company that wants her new gen console to sell, makes exclusives for it. That's how it's been for a decade... And not just indies, no. There are other studios that aren't Meta.. so if a studio wants more sales, they'll develop for Q2 as well, since there are way more Q2 than Q3 still.. just like many AA and AAA studios still made games for PS4 (and still do) Yes, 3 years after its release, more and more games are PS5 exclusives, even from non-Sony studios.
Maybe True, but 100% of the new games announced in the past week that people will really care about have been Q3 exclusive..
100% games in the *whole last week*?!? Dude, when ps5 was *announced*, there were 3 exclusives *at launch*. It is actually quite outrageous there are Q3 exclusives only *months* after its release
100%? You sure about that?
My response is half joking, but in all seriousness, Survios’ Alien game and now an Arkham game being quest 3 exclusives are huge. There might’ve been 10 sort of shovelware standalone indie VR games also announced in that timeframe, but I promise you they aren’t nearly as interesting and potentially impactful to the mass market.
> PS5 generated like 20 exclusives by now That system has maybe 5 games I couldn't play on my PS4
Yeah, I loved AC Nexus but I'd have loved to see what they could've done with it with more processing power to utilize
I understand recommending people the Quest 2 due to the price. But it just still never makes sense to me, you’re just setting that person up to be disappointed most the time. Same thing happened in transition between quest 1 and 2. Everyone saying quest 1 was still a great buy, (which it was) but then by the end of the year, the best games coming out were only for Quest 2 and quest 1 people were upset and a constant spam of threads like “Just bought the Quest 1 and it’s already obsolete?” Personally I don’t even let my friends use my Quest 2.
Wow! Wasn’t expecting it to be part of the Arkham universe. Can’t wait to see gameplay! Also excited to see more Quest 3 exclusives coming!
That's awesome! Still remember the Batman Arkham VR game that came out on PCVR. Was pretty basic and short (similar to Vader Immortal) but still fun.
Yeah same! I got it on sale for a few dollars in the early days and loved every minute of it. Like being in a live action movie.
I know it sucks for Quest 2 owners but the fact that it’s Q3 only makes this more interesting.
If it came out for PCVR, that can give more life to the quest2
It'd be worthless to Meta on pcvr.
Why? they have a PCVR store/launcher which can stream content to the Q2/3 headsets. It would allow them sales to more headsets than just the Q3.
It's hilarious some of the comments.... coming from absolutely rage-laden gamers... they hate anything VR... ignorance is bliss I say
It's also the fact that Meta quest 2 is insanely expensive and inaccessible for a lot of people.
A $200 headset is "insanely expensive"? Didn't question that with the Switch. Or if we're talking about the Quest 3, I wonder how many people batted an eye when they got a PS5 and Series X. Was that insanely expensive then? They need to get over themselves.
# Yes.
The first thought I had when I first played my quest 2 was "I hope we get an Arkham style Batman game eventually". I'm so hyped for this right now.
It won't be on Q2.
No no, I know. I'm just saying from the moment I first put on a vr system, I wanted to be Batman.
the inevitable upgrade to Quest 3 is finally nearing Batman, Alien, probably Behemoth won't come to Quest 2. Plus dozens of games already got some great updates...
I don’t know about everybody else, but I’m glad to see quest three exclusive finally starting to come out. Let’s see what the hardware can really do!
This is nuts!! I wasn’t expecting a full Quest 3 exclusive this early after release, I figured they’d try to cling onto the older hardware for a while. And I definitely didn’t expect a whole Arkham game!! I’m so excited for this!
Anybody else feel like they should've put "VR" in the trailer title? I can't imagine watching the trailer as a non-Quest owner lmao
Fuuck. I knew that by skipping the Quest 3 I'd miss out on some games, but not an Arkham Game!!
Generation just started, you have plenty of time to buy a Q3 or Q3 lite coming months/years.
But...no Kevin Conroy...
YOU'RE Kevin Conroy now
Alfred. Get me a new voice!
You can't seriously be complaining that they couldn't get a guy who's dead to do the voice
No, im saying - it won’t be the same without him. How was that not clear?
It won't, but whoever did it in Arkham Origins was fine. Maybe get that guy.
I dont like trailers that dont show real ingame graphics but rendered scenes that even nasas computer can not run in real time
Now thats unexpected! Gameplay June 7? Wonder if it will be 3rd person, surely not?
Nah it’s gotta be first person right? I imagine it’ll be more involved and modernised than Arkham VR, but not exactly similar to Arkham series
>Gameplay June 7? Is that official? That may confirm the date of the next Oculus game showcase.
It’s summer games fest
More details summer games fest, its in the announcement. The gameplay part is speculation, but what else could it be?
More major quest 3 exclusives......wow the quest 2 is being left behind faster than I thought but I'm not really surprised, the power of the quest 3 gives a lot more headroom for devs to play with and that might be more important than shipping a game that doesn't represent their vision to a larger user base. Also devs might be betting on the quest 3 lite being as successful as the quest 2 (at this point major devs should have access to the quest 3 lite dev kits so they know more than we do and that could influence thier strategies)
I hope it's better than PCVR Batman Arkham...the graphics are good but the gameplay wasn't very involved.
I needed more Batman in VR ever since Arkham VR. Can't wait for this one.
I really enjoyed Arkham on PSVR and would love a standalone port on Quest as well as the new game
Now let us get an Indiana Jones vr game please and thank you. Seriously tho, having full on popular IP being developed for our standalone VR sets is amazing, and I am so here for it.
OMG Can't Wait !

Alien... Batman.. oh my!
Wow cant wait. Didnt have psvr, so i never played the other one. And being a huge Batman Fan really drives my hype Level for this one.
The other Batman VR experience was like a 90 minute demo. You didn't miss anything. I played it once back in 2017 and haven't touched it since
Nice! I hope it's as meaty as the flat Arkham games.
LFG
Inject this into my veins
This is so exciting!!!!! It's about time we got some Quest 3 games showing the headset's awesome muscles without the drag of dumbing down the headset to have the game work for quest 2. Good times ahead. Realy can't wait to c what the Quest 3 is capable of... and even pushing it to its limits.. As for the game... comeon.. who doesn't get excited for BATMAN!
This game will REALLY make you feel like batman
This looks good!! I want it. Now! I've been waiting for a proper super hero game on Quest.
*lights candles and prays for Insomniac Spider-man Q3 game *

Im hoping we can actually be Batman and not just play in Detective mode like the last VR game. Considering who the dev is, hype is trough the rough.

Really wish is weren't a quest 3 exclusive so quest 2 players could play on pc.
You can imagine what it looks like. Better than Quest 2 and worse than PSVR2.
This game will look shockingly good. I mean, this game is going to blow up like no one will believe. Having the balls to show a teaser with pre-rendered video means they are going to try and target that look and feel and I bet they will get pretty close. Holy crap this is exciting.
The Quest Pro was an absolute waste of money from the start.
Still the most comfortable by far.
People that don't have a Quest are so pissed lol, like they forgot that PlayStation or Xbox have exclusives
Excited to see more Quest 3 exclusives so they can really test how much they can push the hardware.
Super surprising, and very excited for this! Can’t wait to see more!!
Nice
They should make an Alien: Isolation style game where you’re a lowly crook trying to evade Batman, who’s uncovered your heist and is picking off your accomplices one at a time.
Who will be voicing him now ?
LET'S GOOOOOOO
this makes 2 quest 3 exclusive titles now?
I’m praying it’ll be open world like Arkham Knight, drive the Batmobile, side missions etc
Damn, just bought a Quest 2 for my girlfriend and I, and now I have to worry about when I can get a quest 3. Great stuff though, and I’m sure the Q2 will live a very long and healthy 3rd party shelf life!
Looks cool! I hope they port it to pcvr too, then I could still play it with a quest 2.
I understand why it it’s a q3 exclusive but it doesn’t make it hurt any less that I can’t play it in my q2. 😢
I’ll definitely buy it
Harley, ivy and Catwoman on VR?, damn.
My Quest 2 is still fine ರ_ರ
Keep in mind iron man vr was made ages ago and they say this is thier most ambitious games
man i had a quest 1 and upgraded to quest 2 for resident evil 4, and its a bit early for another upgrade. Pc vr PLS
it will be not likely a high res game, but oh well, once the actual gameplay comes out we can say if is worth it or not
cool stuff, I just wish someday on whatever platform people start giving other dc heroes a chance. It's beyond me why we still don't have a proper superman game. There's like 5 arkham games out already... not to mention arkham knights that still lingers to the batfamily.... damn, give-me superman, give me a green lantern game, arrow, flash, cyborg, wonder woman, there's tons of cool chars... but it's always bat bat bat bat bat bat, oh here's another bat game. ugh. Don't get me wrong those are great games and i'm sure the vr title will be great... i'm just tired of the same char all the time.
im really excited for this and dont care thats its only vr, im just pissed that its exclusive for meta quest 3, not even 2 or steam
Really disappointed that they are not bringing this to quest 2.
I hope they do a PCVR version and it's a proper full arkham game.
Nope. Pcvr is a dead space.
Let the 'but but no cross-gen' whining begin! 😅 Seriously, it's pretty normal for exclusive Q3 games to be announced sooner or later.
Sounded like an insider. Also implied that we'll start to see more advanced games instead of the more simple short games we usually get in VR
Fingers crossed this is true. I really would love to see that!
Kinda sucks because I bought the Quest 2 last month, now i see this is a Quest 3 exclusive! Makes me regret not getting that upgrade
[удалено]
The Quest 2 is dead because it doesn't work with one game? Wow.
[удалено]
its sad its only for quest 3.
They should show it to Quest 2 owners so they could upgrade to Quest 3
It would be nice if I could, but I can’t afford it
No ingame capture, no hype for me. We’ll see !
I hope it wont stutter like ACNexus !
