sadly they cancelled it [Cancelled Star Wars Mandalorian game ‘was fantastic’ claims insider | Metro News](https://metro.co.uk/2024/03/01/cancelled-star-wars-mandalorian-game-was-fantastic-claims-insider-20377037/)
Blade and Sorcery has a mod to be the Mandalorian with wrist grapple hookshot. There are lots of other star wars mods you can combine with it. One attempts areas that are facsimiles of KOTOR with some models and characters.
Most people like the lightsaber Dojo more than the story. It's like a lightsaber training area with challenges and bots. You get it with any episode, so buy 1 and play. If you think the immersion of the story world is cool, buy the other 2 episodes.
It was kinda fun. If you like pinball. I haven't played with it in a while and no clue if it's still being developed for. I would've suspected we'd hear something if there were new tables introduced so I'm guessing not.
ive had the Quest 3 for under a week and i played a bit of Asgards Wrath 2 and was blown away, but i needed a quicker and easier game to pick up and play when i dont have time to dive into an RPG. plus i wanted a shooter. I saw the sale on Tales from the Galaxy's edge and holy crap. wow. i am well aware i am SO new to VR that my standards are literally as low as they can get right now but I was pretty damn amazed right off the jump. i would say for the $12 price tag its was well worth it.
i hear Vader is pretty much cool to look at but the game play is super basic so i didn't bother with that one yet.
anyone strongly recommend it?
Not a Star Wars game, but Blaston is a fun and free shooting game. You can pick up a quick session for under 5 minutes. I use it as a fitness app too as there’s a lot of dodging and squatting. It has MR mode so it’s really friendly to VR novice.
Thanks!! I am open to any and all suggestions. I got a game for 3 main wants so far. Got Asgard 2 for the real Action rpg experience. Got tales from the galaxy edge for the shooter ( only played an hr but I really like it so far) and I got warplanes over the pacific because I’ve always wanted a flying game in 3D. Like them all so far. Def want a game that gets me really moving too!
Very basic and between the 3 games, it's still sorta short. The visuals are cool, specially on the pc version and standing next to vader is a pretty cool experience.
Yeah that pretty much what I expected. I feel like I can find other stuff to spend $10 on but at the same rate. $10 to hang with Vader sounds like a fair price lol
I strongly recommend Vader, esp if you're new to VR. Interactions are fairly simple but lots of goosebump-inducing moments for Star Wars fans as you play through a legit, movie-length SW story.
Thanks man. I played it briefly a few years ago and was impressed, but I was new to VR then. Worth a go at that price and I’d like to have something to show friends what VR is like
It is abandonware but i played through it on quedt 3 and at times the visuals were still impressive. I wouldn't pay more than5 bucks for it, essentially no replayability, but the story was solid,
The newer starwars game is much more recommended so if you can only get one of the 2, get the new one.
What sort of definition of abandonware are you using…? Whatever it is is wrong, if you think a fully working, supported app available to buy on modern platforms on a working supported store is… abandonware
The problem is software has gotten so f-ed up that kids these days only have any experience with online only software as a service that's released in alpha and fixed only as long as the money keeps coming in. The idea of a finished and complete game that works properly without issue across platforms is just fantasy in their world view.
Ouch my brain but, I think you’re right. Like it was built, it sold, still works but there’s nothing to add because (gestures) it’s complete. Like a PlayStation disc. That’s it, nothing abandoned, just complete.
Wish they’d make a Mandalorian game
That would be awesome!

Not a VR game, but that was an interesting quick read. Thanks. I didn't know about that.

I guess it would be more the story aspect of Mandalorian and the quests etc that I'd want to be playing for. Not simply the combat.
God I wish they'd announce a new star wars release for the q3.
They're too busy milking the other console / pc gamers. See the bullshit $130 price tag for the new game?
Well worth it all of these are excellent experiences and super fun games
Vader immortal actually fun?
If you enjoy being in that universe it is. There’s not that much to do so think of it as an interactive movie.

Helllllla based
Is pinball any good? It's the only one I don't have

I think the devs are working on their other pinball game. I don’t remember what it’s called but it’s ocean themed I’m pretty sure

Looked it up and only VR pinball was on sale? Wonder why that is, I was interested in Vader Immortal.
Vader Immortal is on sale?
Does Vader Immortal hold up on Q3 or is it showing age?
Graphics look pretty basic compared to something like Red Matter, but it's still cool.

They executed 66% of the price
Has it been updated at all for Quest 3? I was under the impression it's essentially abandonware

Which newer one? If you’re referring to tales from galaxy edge, that’s pretty old too. It’s much better though.
It is newer than the cader immortal which came out with the quest 1, the tales from galaxy should be a quest 2 game.
Thanks! Think I'm gonna get the newer one then. Theres a deal with the DLC included so seems like a good deal

Just play the PC version. Pretty sure you get both when you buy it.
I dont have a VR capable PC.
