Walkabout Mini Golf is one of the best games ever made, and I don't just mean in VR. Solo or with one friend it's [meditative and amazingly chill](https://youtu.be/Po5bs-gt80E?si=WBQQkNR4yL73TcD3), or with groups it [can get silly and rowdy.](https://clips.twitch.tv/TastyEphemeralPineappleDoubleRainbow-3nis49MI827RZAa7) A true gamut of human experience in one game, and you're in charge of the dial between Zen and [Bachelorette party.](https://clips.twitch.tv/FunnyRoughMallardBCWarrior-Ncl59J3zykkMidEU?tt_content=url&tt_medium=clips_api)
They also base their courses on great stuff that translates really well to hitting a ball around and exploring: They have official courses of Jim Henson's The Labyrinth, Myst Island and Wallace & Gromit, as well as Meow Wolf.
Me and my 2 friends I play this with do the exact same thing. We love ball hunting on a course so even though you don't need to own a map to play it, you DO need to own it if you want the custom golf balls hidden around the course.
I simply cannot be without my ball hunting. Just hearing "I found one" while you're watching your other friend fail miserably feels so good. Lil dopamine hit.
Right now there are at least 3 full price games that you can buy at 90% discount: Max Mustard, flight 74 and Sushi Ben.
Just search this sub for the codes and you can snag 3 games for less than 9 bucks.
I completed it at the weekend. Wouldn't have heard of it without the 90% of deal I saw on here. Legit the best VR platformer I've played, and one of my fave VR games ever.
Honestly was thinking about doing that anyways, I don't quite have my VR sea legs yet and I kinda can't justify paying $20 for a game I'm not sure I'll be able to play.
Is there any guides on games that are good to work your way up with?
i’m into all types of games anything ranging from shooters,adventure-Horror and anything else. Will definitely be buying RE4 aswell i didn’t know it was on vr!
It’s an unbelievable port. It’s proof that AAA games can be made for standalone, even if it wasn’t made for VR initially. Everything about how it controls and feels is just so well executed that it has made some other games tedious and annoying to play.
Into the Radius - one of the best games I've played
Retropolis 2 - one of the most beautiful games I've played, both aesthetically and gameplay wise
Brazen Blaze - my current favorite multiplayer VR game
Beat Saber and SUPERHOT are pretty much quest essentials, I believe both have demos too if you want to try them.
Pistol whip is great
Until you fall is one of my favourites, but I would wait to play that until you’re a bit more used to VR (any game that allows you to move should be avoided for like a month)
For some reason Beat Saber lost its shine for me, but I loved Pistol Whip.
The Room and Red Matter were good puzzle games. Maybe Shadow Point too.
My son loves A Fisherman's Tale - a pretty unique story at the time.
Thrill of the fight was an interesting one - heavy cardio.
Vegas Infinite. It used to be called Pokerstars VR but they’ve expanded to a more full casino experience. Feel free to ask any questions but I frequent this casino game a ton! And it’s completely free ( gambling is play money )
Skyrim VR with Mod Organizer so I can have a full body avatar and other perks.
Wander, just great to pop all over the world.
Full endorsement of Walkabout Mini Golf. An as-yet unmentioned perk: they keep releasing new courses at reasonable prices.
Myst
Supernatural workout program
if you're a VRgin, start slow with Moss 1&2, Space Pirate Trainer, Walkabout Mini Golf, The Room
if you want to barf right away, at least go with the best: Assassin's Creed Nexus, Asgard's Wrath 2, Resident Evil 4, Contractors Showdown, Grid Legends etc
If youre into the looting and shooting genre, Ghosts of Tabor is an incredibly full game for a standalone VR headset.
At this point I've got around 200 hours in it, and more to come. Easily the most engaging and "just one more" enerrgy game I've found. So far nothing has come close to how tense the engagements can be.
Pistol Whip is FAR too fun
Blade & Sorcery is a classic
Premium Bowling
The “I Expect You To Die” trilogy
VR games do tend to get expensive if you get a lot of them but they are worth the price.
Pavlov or onward, honestly I would give gorilla tag a try just because of the good movement. Walks out mini golf. Mission iss is cool. Blade and sorcery
PCVR: Fallout VR with a few mods (automated installation from the top of the mode page). It’s playable without mods, but visual quality is a little bit outdated
Check out the Team Beef VR mods. The original Doom games are great in VR (the mods to turn the gun and enemy sprites into 3D voxel models are easy to use and help a lot with immersion)
FYI I forgot to mention you can use a meta device referral link to get $30 meta credit to buy games. Use the link before you activate your quest 3 and make an account. You can also use the app links to get 25% games. The game links seems to be not working at moment.

I wish I heard about this when I got my quest 3 in April. I missed out on the free $30 of credit.
The only games that I really enjoyed playing are The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners (plus Retribution) and Arizona Sunshine 2. Truly amazing titles. I never tried RE4 since it looks very dated based on the trailer (I wish the new game was available on Quest 3).
For mixed reality games there is not a lot but some nice games like broken edge (sword duel ), demeo (tabletop rpg), drop dead cabin (zombie shooter)
The classic of quest : Moss 1/2 (adventure of a little mouse),
superhot (super cool slow motion fps, stop moving pause the time, the more you move the more it's real time),
I expect you to die (escape game where you need to be quick),
a fisherman tales (puzzle game with intrication of the house ),
pistol whip/beat saber (rythm)
If you have a computer, half life alyx is probably the best vr game ever done. (But you need 5ghz wifi and ethernet for an good computer)
Synthriders is my fave rhythm game and you can download lots of custom songs. I also recommend Pistol Whip. I work out daily around the world with Supernatural.
I started Asgard’s Wrath 2 - very cool but makes me nauseous. I tried the Walking Dead Saints and Sinners but embarrassingly had to get a refund. I am apparently a chicken shit in VR and prefer my zombies on a flat screen.
You can work out your aggressions in Drunken Bar Fight, lol.
I’m enjoying all these recommendations from all of you! I’m going to load up the mini golf again. I haven’t opened it up in a year.
Alyx for the all-round VR visual and mechanic experience
Vail VR for a solid classic shooter if you just want deathmatch games
Walkabout and Beat Saber for casual play
[Brazen Blaze](https://www.meta.com/experiences/6876788115766273/), very fun hybrid shooter/fighter that's free right now in open beta, and the new stage just began 2 days ago with some new mechanics implemented. Hearty recommend
Beat Saber and Golf + for something casual
Superhot for the smooth combat
Mutant Boxing League VR for fitness + boxing
Maybe Pavlov for a good shooter that has lotsa game modes

In 40 years of gaming, it's the only game I've ever bought every single piece of DLC for.
Me and my 2 friends I play this with do the exact same thing. It seems to be the consensus that this is about the best game for the quest.
Right now there are at least 3 full price games that you can buy at 90% discount: Max Mustard, flight 74 and Sushi Ben. Just search this sub for the codes and you can snag 3 games for less than 9 bucks.
Alao max mustard is hella fun! Think mario 3d but vr
I completed it at the weekend. Wouldn't have heard of it without the 90% of deal I saw on here. Legit the best VR platformer I've played, and one of my fave VR games ever.
Zombieland too. And I'd skip flight74 even if it's almost free. It's a mess.
Please explain the discount
Sushi Ben - SUSHI-BDE2EF Max Mustard - R90-96EE80 Zombieland - ZL90-D6423B These coupons are working
At the checkout there’s a space where you can enter codes
My man!!
What I literally bought sushi Ben for $20 yesterday?
Refound it
Honestly was thinking about doing that anyways, I don't quite have my VR sea legs yet and I kinda can't justify paying $20 for a game I'm not sure I'll be able to play. Is there any guides on games that are good to work your way up with?
Resident Evil 4, I expect you to die series, eleven table tennis thrill of the fight
I’m an old boomer, but I’m loving Moss, Red Matter 1&2 and puzzling places.
Moss was an interesting take on things, but I enjoyed the Down the Rabbit Hole, and synergies never finished that...
The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, Resident Evil 4, Tetris Effect, Max Mustard... It's easier if you tell us the type of game you prefer.
i’m into all types of games anything ranging from shooters,adventure-Horror and anything else. Will definitely be buying RE4 aswell i didn’t know it was on vr!

Asgards Wrath 2, Demeo, Dungeons of Eternity
Thrill of the fight 100%, also a very good workout
The Light Brigade
Blacktop hoops is great but hard to learn Another great one is ghosts of tabor very fun
Racket Club
Underdogs
Synth riders and powerwash simulator are a must
Population One, the Light Brigade, and Guardians Frontline would be my top three. All shooters. Two of three play online.
Oathbreakers, it's vr runescape basically.
Shadow point
For some reason Beat Saber lost its shine for me, but I loved Pistol Whip. The Room and Red Matter were good puzzle games. Maybe Shadow Point too. My son loves A Fisherman's Tale - a pretty unique story at the time. Thrill of the fight was an interesting one - heavy cardio.

Half Life Alyx is a must tbh and a great introduction to the world of vr
Maybe not the best intro, since I played it I never had the same feelîg in a vr game. But yhea super great game !
Rookie sideloader is your best friend
Pirate spotted (I use it too)
Green Hell is my favorite
Demeo is my fav game of all time. I play Star Wars VR Pinball daily.
It doesn't get much mention but Resist is a great standalone game
Pavlov and battle talent
Walkabout mini golf Cards & Tankards
Racket NX, Ventures Gauntlet
Skyrim VR with Mod Organizer so I can have a full body avatar and other perks. Wander, just great to pop all over the world. Full endorsement of Walkabout Mini Golf. An as-yet unmentioned perk: they keep releasing new courses at reasonable prices. Myst Supernatural workout program

Onward is a fun first person shooter
I personally really enjoyed Ancient Dungeon and Drop Dead: The Cabin and if you like horror enjoyed playing Cosmodread as well.
IB Cricket.

[this one](https://youtu.be/8-Gh484dH20?si=r9liOYWqsVPO5bTP)
blade and soucery nomad is a great choice if your into fantasy sword fighting and stuff
Losing a TON of time in Powerwash Simulator right now. Really chill way to spend an hour just jet washing everything
ETT, Into the radius. Also if u have a decent PC try out Lone Echo 1&2
Resident Evil 4. It's one of the few rare games that don't feel like a tech demo but a fully fledged campaign.
I think the purchase comes with a free 6 month quest+ trial. Basically gives you access to a set of games and every month you can get two more games.
PCVR: Fallout VR with a few mods (automated installation from the top of the mode page). It’s playable without mods, but visual quality is a little bit outdated
Bonelab- new mods and updates.

After tge fall is a good zombie shooter and has a wonderful community
If you have a strong vr stomach then definitely bonelab and blade and sorcery
I only play PCVR. No Man's Sky, Skyrim VR, Contractors Showdown, and American Truck Simulator (with a steering wheel) have been my main plays lately.
The only games that I really enjoyed playing are The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners (plus Retribution) and Arizona Sunshine 2. Truly amazing titles. I never tried RE4 since it looks very dated based on the trailer (I wish the new game was available on Quest 3).
