Hi, question: I just got the oculus quest 2 and using my Hot spot & it is lagging when I try to play games or even look at basic stuff. Do I need high speed internet to make my quest 2 work perfectly?

When I try to watch anything on my quest 2, for example the IT movie experience, it will play for 5 seconds the those 3 dots appears flashing and the movie stops then 20 seconds later it will play for another 5 seconds and stops again, etc etc etc. What do I need to fix this?
Is there enough light in the room? If you're watching in the dark you can turn the tracking off. If you've put your own file on the quest it could be too big, or it could be that your Internet isn't fast enough for streaming a film.
Turn on lights. Hold powe button for 10sec and reset. And then if that does not work, try games because streaming media may not be optimal from a hotspot.

Not really. It's basically just a thin ass piece of paper essentially. It's not gonna hold any heat.

No, the quest should run fine without any Internet.
Do you mean a smartphone hotspot?
I know this sounds dumb but did you restart it? Sometimes my quest 1 acts up and I just restart it and it fixes it.
