Yeah, mostly the emails are moved to folders after the user has read them. Some are deleted as soon as they arrive in the inbox. Others are a little more complicated, they don't suit rules as far as I know as they process other items in outlook based on their content. Create a number of tasks based on the data stored in the excel file attached, that sort of thing.

Currently your COM add-in is working on the "old" desktop Outlook.
I tried to ask you if you wish the updated add-in will work on the same "old" desktop Outlook or on a new desktop Outlook that does not support COM add-ins at all.
What is it doing with the messages? Moving them to folders? Might be able to do a lot of that just using rules.
