I used to go to their New Year's Eve shows in the Bay Area, 95 or so. Sucked so bad I kept going back. Les is amazing, and Herb the ginseng drummer is something special as well.
I went to a Rush concert in the early 90's and we didnt know who the fuck Primus, the opening act, was so we took our time and tailgated in the parking lot for a few minutes before show time. I remember walking into the arena and heard the bass. I just stood there slack-jawed for about 5 minutes.
I saw Primus three times between 1990 and 1992. They sucked every time.

From 93-2000 I saw them 7 times. Sucked more and more every time I saw them.

Did they influence Korn much? I've never listened to them, but on hearing this, that bass would fit right in a Korn track.
Since you mentioned Korn, the intro to Blind is almost identical to Too Many Puppies by Primus, the Primus baselines were definitely an inspiration
