Mine jumps on the back of the toilet...then starts chasing his tail. He's fallen off a few times (hitting the handle and flushing the toilet, slamming the seat down, etc), but thankfully not when I'm there.
Me too. I have 2 cats one void and one tabby who is secretly orange and when I go to the bathroom and no one follows I shout into the house “is no one going to keep me company?! Rude!” Usually at least one comes running. If they leave the bathroom before I’m done I usually call after them like “hey! Don’t leave me!”

Mine currently enjoys just checking in on me. Like she'll walk in, look at me, and then walk back out. She'll do this multiple times if I'm taking awhile lmao
my void doesn't always enjoy being held, but we have a routine now that when i'm rinsing my mouthwash, she'll happily be picked up and cradled while i swish
I've got four that I rescued when they were babies. All four used to climb into my pants. Now that they're adults they all want to be pet simultaneously, then one will climb in my pants or chew on or climb up the shower curtain (depends on her mood), another will jump in the sink wanting me to turn on the faucet, one super floof stands up begging to get in my lap and the other will start licking my leg and continue wanting pets and scratches.
My cat is twenty…he may not stay the whole time now but he will force his way in no matter what, then usually leave and sit outside, I think this might have to do with competing with my child who also can’t seem to not come to the potty with me 99% of the time
I remember when my void was smalll enough to circumvent the whole door and just sliiiiide underneath. Then, as he got bigger, he'd paw and meow in pain until I opened it.
At least he gives you space. My void absolutely insists on climbing into my pants when I’m on the can.
