This is technically canon. She does love Baseball and is the ace of her Middle School's baseball team that literally became a unisex team just so she could play for them. The other teams didn't like it but they taunted with "What, afraid you'll lose to a girl?" So technically she does play with the boys. She was literally so good that she could probably beat the rest of her team by herself. I didn't think about the softball thing, but it works.
