I don't remember much from the ML and FL, but the love story for the parents are so OI worthy. Average, cliche plot tho. But let's just say that the dad gets a pretty good backstory and the mom is an awesome caretaker and they're both trying their best.

They mostly appear when ML and FL are kids. The parents had a conflict, FL somehow helped them reconcile and then they move back to the duchy because they are so in love with each other again. Meanwhile, 10 y.o. FL and ML gotta survive together in the capital against the elders of the family www
I mean, sure, the parents asked if the kids would like them to stay in the capital and the kids refused, saying they can survive themselves. I just find it funny the parents just went "OK!" and actually left 🤣🤣🤣
They do get mentioned once every full moon for sending affectionate and supportive letters. So there's still that ❤😂
Totally understandable, and honestly, can't argue with that. I remember when I was reading that I was thinking "did I see that, right? People just accept it as it is and don't think anything is wromh eith the arrangement?" This is one of those series where if you wanna enjoy it, don't think too much about it and only use your 2 brain cells lol 😂

I really liked the MLs parents and wanted more of them too. But what to do when:
*These full grown adults neglect their son cause of tragedy mix of misunderstandings, and when finally they come together they had to leave away cause of health complications and rekindling their relationship.*
*And ofc its fully ok to leave two 10 yos running whole noble estate and business - while you want to be better parents. Sure your son is genious and DIL has mental ability of grown woman but they are kids.*
I dont think FL calling kid ML handsome is the problem here. I couldnt get past the ridiculous adultification of two 10yos.
Why couldnt the author make them least 14? It would be less weird.
It would depends on your preference really. I personally enjoy it as something light-hearted on my spare time without investing too much emotions—kinda like how I treat My Derelict Favourite.
Some people get turned off in the beginning by how the FL (she's a transmigator) called the child ML "hot". This series is also one of those "oh no, I can't fall in love with the ML because the OGFL will come, and I will be abandoned!" And she goes HARD node in it. Even though ML is literally head over heels for her. Atm, we also have an >!amnesia!< arc.
So yeah, it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I think the slow burn romance is really nice and enjoyable. She actually also has a lot of supportive female friends.
