if you like the currently available skins, then I say get it, if you just want the mercy mythic, that'll be available again 3 seasons from now so there's not necessarily a rush if you can wait that long for it
No the mercy mythic looks like crap to me so I'm least interested in that. The only thing that looks nice is the life weaver post battle animation thing . Not sure if it'll ever come back

It’s personal opinion, but it seems like you don’t like much in it or the mythic which is the big prize. So maybe skip it, but if anything the prism could be used to get prior mythics if you are missing any you want.
But this one does seem a bit more dull for sure.
You'll get 600 coins on the free pass now so you'll only need $5 to buy the pass for this season or next if that helps. Bing Rewards is another way to earn coins for free.
Also, mythic skins are unlocked with a separate currency now. You get enough to fully unlock a skin in each pass and can bank them for later seasons, which means if you like next season's mythic you can unlock all of it on day one. That said the battle pass is the cheapest way to unlock any given mythic.
From your other posts here it sounds like you only care about the Lifeweaver highlight intro on the pass and not much else, so if that's the case then I guess you have your answer. Regardless there's still the 600 coins you'll get via the battle pass now provided you hit those levels.

Buy the coins/save them and wait for the last ~3 days of the season when they reveal the next battlepass so you can choose

You can buy BP first and save your prism to get next mythic immediately if you want it
