The only thing that truly helped me is Naproxen. I tried everything for my cramps. Midol, Tylenol, heating pads, hot bath, etc. I used to have cramps so bad that I felt like I couldn’t get out of bed, I was literally crying in pain. Somehow after being pregnant they are way less painful when my period comes around, but before that they were debilitating. Naproxen literally was the only medicine that helped me 100% not feel the cramps. Even with other meds like Tylenol, I could still feel them pretty painfully after the medicine had “kicked in” and Midol really did nothing for me. Heating pads or a hot bath are nice but the relief is very temporary in my experience so for that reason I prefer to take medicine for it due to how debilitating my cramps have been in the past.
Hip stretches/ yoga flows and a heating pad sometimes helps. If they are bad enough I just suffer through work then crawl into bed until it is over.
While it doesn't work for everyone inositol has helped me so all my symptoms are usually more manageable. But it took about 6 months of taking it consistently. For whatever reason my body reactes really well to it. The exception is if I've had a cyst rupture recently my next period is bad no matter what I do.

Pamprin. It has an antihistamine in it & knocks me out. I sleep for a day or two & then I'm functional again.
Pamprin, electric heating pad, healthy cycle tea from traditional medicinals (or raspberry tea if I'm out.)

Ginger. It's not magic, but about as powerful as 2 nurofen. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5356382/
My cramps have improved dramatically since I started doing yoga every day.
Red Boreno kratom.
