4 packs 151, 2 packs lost origin, 1 pack chilling reign for $27.99 - that is incredible value, better than these UPCs even.
And if you are lucky your Sam’s Club might be one of the few that has the evolving skies Pokeballs as well.

Would not collect myself, but curious - what is the most valuable card one could pull from these boxes specifically? It seems they are very popular, so curious if there’s a golden ticket.
Since nobody answered your question, the most expensive card you can get out of these packs is the charizard, which is going for about $100 right now. The next highest is blastoise at $50 and venusaur at $40. There's some other cards that go for the 30s as well. You're considered quite lucky to pull any 1 of those cards out of the 16 packs in this box, so most people don't make their money back
16 packs is a lot and the cards in this set are worth more than most. At $80, you have a higher chance at breaking even. For example, we didn't get a SIR but pulled a full art Charizard and IR Bulbasaur so that's already $50. I think it was another art rare and don't forget the promos. Like close enough.
Besides the size these are a great grab. Many people think the mew promo inside is a top tier mew only underrated because it's a promo. The box is mew a top 3 most popular Pokémon that displays it well even sealed compared to the charizard box only looks good once opened.
Also in the instance of a reprint collection boxes don't follow print run to print run usually. So once print run 1 dries up there will be no more of these but still will be 151 packs.
Also before this there were only 2 places on the net really to find these for under 105 without searching far and wide or ebay deal but usually 8-10 in shipping too

Yep mine too, and ETBs for 151 are $70. But Walmart has them for 55 and you can get them cheaper elsewhere still. I like supporting local business but sheesh.
Call your local Costco and ask if the item # is available. If it's not available at the location you just called, ask them to check other locations. They can tell you the exact number in stock to see if it's worth the trip.
151 is definitely hitting the reprinted to the ground phase of its life. But it's such a fun set to rip because you're almost always guaranteed a good time, like with crown zenith.
That being said, I think 151 will eventually follow XY Evolutions path and be absurdly valued at sealed prices in the future.
Yea I agree. It’s just this UPC product that’s plummeting from the original msrp price. Mostly due to the price per pack being horrible when it first came out. Now it’s reasonable

From that angle this isn’t anywhere near as good as the Alakazam/Zapdos bundle they had a few months ago
The promos are about $12 value and the playmat goes for $10 so you're looking at roughly $4 a pack with the UPC, which is pretty much the same as the Alakazam/Zapdos, even slightly better since there's other stuff that you get in the UPC as well like a deck box ($4), sleeves ($5) and coin ($2).
I have ripped soooooo much 151 in English, Japanese, and Korean and honestly had pretty horrible luck, I ripped 20 boxes of Korean, over a case of Japanese, and hundreds upon hundreds of English packs… I’ve pulled 1 zard in a Korean god pack, in my last 10 boxes of Japanese I got 1 SAR, the venusaur, matter of fact of the big 3 I’ve only pulled a single venusaur in English and Japanese. Best masterball holo is vaporeon, next best is probably haunter.
I have pulled a whooooooole bunch of squirtles tho? And let me tell you about those mimes and jynx and omanytes, oh my!
151 is just not my set to rip man. I keep coming back hoping for better results, no such luck. Doesn’t change my opinions on the set itself though… 🚀🌙
Still investing in 151 sealed, just don’t know how much more I’ll rip. I recently finished my master set, finally biting the bullet to pick up all of the HD Holo Energies. Never pulled a single one, polled a couple LGS and some of my buddies have ripped as much, if not more (one person a LOT more English 151, at least like 500 packs) and not one person I’ve talked to has pulled one of the HDs either. Several of the ones I bought (at least half, if not more) seemed to come from the UK 🤷♂️

Third booster I opened from an ETB had the full full art Charmander, Chameleon, Charizard set.
But I’ve also opened a premium with not a single full art.
I figure the market evens itself out. You can get the 16 boosters plus sleeves, promos, mat, for $57 on TikTok after $25 new account and $8 venmo off $90. Given people can sell off the mat, sleeves, and promos, that leaves maybe $48 for 16 boosters or $3ea.
People are ripping and getting mad they aren’t getting $6-8 median value out of packs that, sure, are $6.75 if you buy 16 boosters and toss the rest at $108. But the market’s settled to $3 packs for people who really game it.
Last 151 UPC I ripped (and last 151 UPC I’ll ever rip) I got 2 hits, the venusaur ex double rare and the pink mew ultra rare, and a couple holo energy… and that was it. 18 packs and 2 hits… my other 2 UPCs I ripped were also pretty awful, but nothing anywhere near that league of terrible. But hey, they’re nice playmats once you can get them to finally lay flat
It’s smarter to buy the cards you want from the set and just hold them or do whatever. Do the math. All that extra $ on bullshit cards adds up. Most of the time you don’t get the pulls you want. I went through that phase too, after spending about 1k and having nothing but mainly shit pulls i thought a few things over.
I hear you, I like to mix it up depending on the set. If there’s a bunch of bangers I’ll get a booster box or two, then singles for the rest. Otherwise I might rip an etb and then singles.
I did a bb case once. It was for a special day with my friends and cousins where we spent a day ripping cards together, over wings and drinks 🍻🍗
For me it's not about the card it's about the feels of the rip.
And 151 kinda hits some nostalgia so it's well worth the price per rip.
