Village is incredible. RE4 is also good. No Man’s Sky, Pavlov, and my personal choice Demeo are all great picks too. Plus many others, don’t believe the lies that there’s “nothing to play.”
Ig ill hav to check this out! Ive been looking for mr games bcause I just got the quest 3. Thanks for telling me because I dont think I wouldve found it on my own!! :D
This is the way! I honestly didn’t expect no man’s sky to be much better, but the first time I put the psvr2 on it felt like what the creators was setting out to do in 2016 make a game that looks like those 60s/70s sci fi films!
You talked me into getting this game last night. I didn’t get a chance to play it because it was late but I’m looking forward to checking it out.
Hope it as good as you say. I know nothing about it.
Not games, but i'd recommend purchasing protective lenses even if you don't have any problem with your eyesight to protect the headset lenses (like the plano option from HonsVR), an extension cable that will allow the headset cable to pop out of it without damaging the console port or the end of the headset's cable if you trip over it (specs matter, i use the 1 meter option of this: https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video\_description&redir\_token=QUFFLUhqbXVoc09DQmlqRXQ1OVprRW1FZzlKRFZPN0pmd3xBQ3Jtc0tscWFsRWRhWkxQVnBmT3pydkpWaEF3NjZfdGRubVVSZk50VkhMWnJuWHZkV25aTHZON2hTbjJ0YWdtNFBHX2lNWTdPV2N1ZWtkd05JUm92dWpPVEtMbHVSWWw0MkliN0hMZ0xZYklUZ2NrZ1JXcnB1Zw&q=https%3A%2F%2Famzn.to%2F3TtIm8k&v=qLAqrnJj9K8), a sports bandana for high intensity games that will get you sweaty and maybe a charging base for the controllers if you find the ports to be too finicky, since you can't replace the controllers individually if you damage them.
By the way, forgot to mention. For the extention cable you'll also need a cable clip to hold it in place so that the end that's plugged on the console's port won't be affected.
I didn't buy them from amazon, but from the official HonsVR site. If you don't have myopia or hyperopia, the plain lens without the prescription is the "plano lens" option. Even if you're getting a prescription lens i'd advice also getting a plano pair for your less careful friends, or the ones that wear glasses. [https://honsvr.com/product/psvr-2-prescription-lenses/](https://honsvr.com/product/psvr-2-prescription-lenses/)
Never tried red matter 1 but 2 is absolutely brilliantly done and probably the best choice to introduce yourself to psvr2.
Had a friend over the other day to check out vr, he was impressed by kayak and horizon but red matter 2 blew him off his socks. He started to say he never really thought vr would be worth it but red matter he had to admit that it was leaving a way bigger impression on him then he thought it would.. he only took the headset off because he was starting to sweat to much.
Other then that, no man sky, RE, pistol whip have been my favorites so far. No mans sky is a real treat!
Yes, if you played Quest 2 on autonome it's a huge upgrade.
Since you like horror, RE4 and 8 are masterpieces and absolute must play, but there are many other games like Propagation or OVRDARK that are really good too, or Saints & Sinners 1&2 that are less horror but with great gameplay and graphics. But the one I'd recommend the most if you really want to experience horror (terror might be more accurate xD ) is Madison VR. I started the game 3 days ago (in hard mode so puzzles are more difficult) and am at 47% of completion, but I can already say for sure that this game is a masterpiece in its genre. The ambiance and story-telling are excellent and yeah, it's scary af, and I'm not impressed easily!
Anyway, welcome to the family and have a lot of fun! :)
Village, RE4 and GT7 worth the price of the headset alone. You will have never experienced anything in gaming quite like the immersion you get from those 3 titles. Anything else is s bonus. There is not a very expansive library of AAA games unfortunately which has been disappointing, but I got the PSVR2 to fill the void in VR of high end graphics that I was missing with my Quest 1 and 3.
Get the Globular Cluster headset mod for comfort. If you never played Walkabout Minigolf and Puzzling Places.. that. It would help to list what games you’ve played on Quest 2
Welcome to the family son. Well, since you already have a quest 2, it's not much of a difference. You can expect games that look closer to PCVR. Since you a seasoned VR you can jump into the big guns like. Both Resident Evils 4 and Village, GT7, no man Sky, Call of the Mountain, Synapse. There is also good games like switchback, Madson Vr, Legendary Tales. The rest of the games are quest ports. Oh, stay away from Firewall ultra that game is dead. One more thing psvr1 games don't work on Psvr2 games.
If you are interested, some games are crossplay with the quest and Pc like Demeo, Arizona Sunshine 2, walkabout minigolf but you have to buy both versions quest and psvr2.
Also, I becareful with the controllers Sony doesn't sell them separately.
S&S 1&2. RM 1&2. RE village and RE4. Walk about mini golf. Vegas casino. GT7. Propagation paradise hotel. Pavlov. KAYAK VR. That’s all you need to get started going for a very long time 😃
RE4 will defo fit your bill.
Arizona sunshine if ya wanna deal with zombies and have a giggle
If on a small budget I recommend no man sky, no a horror game but if you only buy 1 game this will fill HUNDREDS of hours.
For $18 out of the $100 you have for games, get 1 Month Subscription of PS+ Premium to play all of the following:
https://preview.redd.it/u8quzdk2ok8d1.jpeg?width=3840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8bcc4e81d6381ac2814508d3776d79a35a03c839
For the rest, I recommend getting the games you are most interested in and for horror & story your picks should be from:
* MADiSON VR
* Propagation: Paradise Hotel
* Very Bad Dreams
* OVRDARK
* Resident Evil Village
Welcome to the Family!
I personally have been disappointed.
I already played all the games that were cross compatible.
Horizon was neat, but got boring.
GT7 is amazing and the ONE game I still play.
If I NEVER owned a Quest, and never played any of the games that are on both, I'd find it worth it.
But since I have, and other than GT7 and Resident Evil, nothing stands out, nothing planned, etc, and it's expensive.
None of these are on Quest: RE8, RE4, No Man's Sky, GT7, Horizon, Legendary Tales, Synapse, Arken Age (coming), Aces of Thunder (coming). + some others already released that aren't great (Firewall, etc)
And any new multi-platform games that come out are going to be better on psvr2. They always are
Vegas Infinite is way way way better on the Quest though, and he has that. (more skins, more toys, more game modes, more players, more rooms, and even mixed reality)
But since it's free, get it on the PSVR2. It's fun on the PSVR2 as well.
Look into a comfortable head add on, I found the unit didn't suits my head put of the box.
If you get motion sickness I found a fan helps.
For Story games i would say Red matter,Call of the mountain. No man sky, might be able to find a cheap ps4 copy, has free ps5 upgrade and vr.
I don't know horror well but heard good things about Madison and RE4.
I did the same thing. Impulse buy but couldn’t pass it up. $100 off and $275 worth of Netflix credits. So got a new psvr2 for $200. Sucks I just sold grab turismo cause I never played it :(
Red Matter 2 is a perfect Vr game in my opinion. Perfect mix of puzzle and action! Amazing graphics. The story is top notch withakiller ending. Also Moss Book 1 + 2 are utterly charming and a great action adventure games! Highly recommended!

Star Wars - Good
Crossfire Sierra - Good
Paint The Town Red - Ok
Gorn - Ok
Ultra wings - Ok...
Arizona Sunshine - Not Great so far..

Kayak VR - Fucking Awful!!
Haven't started playing Resident Evil village yet - supposed to be sick in VR. Got it but gonna finish re4 remake 1st..
Absolutely cannot wait for Behemoth coming out in October!!!!
Aliens game + Apollo 13 & The Wanderer looking like they'll be good as well.
Sick system mate, too many games to play.
Being in this group is bad for me. You guys are a terrible influence!
After yesterdays discussions I inadvertently purchased and downloaded Red Matter 2, No Man
Sky, and Kayak.
Anddd Lens protectors/Usb Ext😂
Buy Synapse! Amazing game for the psvr2. There's a ton of em available now and more to come. There's several handful physical releases but not many if ur also trying to collect psvr2 games
Hopefully your nothing like me who made the impulse buy only to find out every game besides gt7 makes me sick. Gt7 did the first time, but not after that.
I also have the psvr2 and quest. The psvr2 is such a better upgrade and I recommend both Resident Evil Village, 4, and Madison. These look stunning and damn near realistic when playing. Congrats!
I personally love mine! The controller battery life is terrible but it's fantastic otherwise. Epic Roller Coasters has been my thing lately but Kayak Tour, Beat Saber, Horizon Zero Dawn and Galaxy's Edge have all been hours of fun. Not to mention No Mans Sky, which might look and feel the best in my opinion.
Oh and if you buy re village or any horror game for psvr2 . Would recommend sitting. It feels so real and well jumpscare can be ye ...🤣 ive not gotten to scary part yet. I finished it on xsx but now vr is.... 😅
Oh and if you buy re village or any horror game for psvr2 . Would recommend sitting. It feels so real and well jumpscare can be ye ...🤣 ive not gotten to scary part yet. I finished it on xsx but now vr is.... 😅
Just like others said before me, resident evil 4, resident evil village, no man's sky (it becomes freaking scary when you pop an egg and tall aliens in vr come at you), Paradise Hotel and ofcourse Madison VR...
Enjoy and welcome to the vr family:)
So I did the same thing as a Quest 2 owner a couple weeks ago.
Plus is the headset is very comfortable, easy to get on and off. Controllers recharge via USB. Haptics are also pretty cool. Minus-- PlayStation store is terrible for surfacing VR games... no way to filter them. PSVR1 games are not PSVR2 compatible. No VR video apps for PS5. Looking forward to the PC adapter to fix some of these problems
The PlayStation store has great options for filtering.

Devs have gone on record stating that they cannot feasibly justify the cost to port when there would be such little return on their investment. I’d say return it if it’s not too late. Get a Quest 3 or even 2. Biggest gaming mistake I ever made. There are like 4-5 games worth your time. What a rip.
The headset has averaged 12-13 new games per month since launch and it is not slowing down. Has over 200 games currently and some great games coming soon.
Start here! If you don't have much disposable income, then to make the most of your money I would wishlist games then buy them on sale. Thanks this is very helpful, I'll definitely try Village since the last time I checked it was on sale
Well if you love story driven horror, the RE games are a must! MADiSON is really scary and atmospheric too.
Village is incredible. RE4 is also good. No Man’s Sky, Pavlov, and my personal choice Demeo are all great picks too. Plus many others, don’t believe the lies that there’s “nothing to play.”
Those who say nothing prob looks at game seeing it doesnt say vr but little they know it has 😅
If he already has a Quest and if he doesn't have Demeo, I'd recommend getting Demeo on the Quest.
how is it better?
For one, passthrough mode: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxWzjgoNHl8](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gxWzjgoNHl8)
Quest 2 passthrough is pretty trash though.
Fair. Definitely better on the Quest 3. But it still is a nice feature as I can play at home and see people around me.
Ig ill hav to check this out! Ive been looking for mr games bcause I just got the quest 3. Thanks for telling me because I dont think I wouldve found it on my own!! :D
This 👆
No Man’s Sky. It’ll blow your balls off.
This dude is not wrong. Put on smooth view (I think that’s what it’s called) clear a few hours on your day and it will blow your mind!
It's also insanely cheap. Buy a used PS4 copy on eBay and it comes with all the updates for free
This is the way! I honestly didn’t expect no man’s sky to be much better, but the first time I put the psvr2 on it felt like what the creators was setting out to do in 2016 make a game that looks like those 60s/70s sci fi films!

Thank you I will look into that
20 dollars for non prescription lenses.. take them and gone are the days of worrying about damaging the lenses. 👌
By the way, forgot to mention. For the extention cable you'll also need a cable clip to hold it in place so that the end that's plugged on the console's port won't be affected.
Got an Amazon link for the lenses protectors for psvr2?
I didn't buy them from amazon, but from the official HonsVR site. If you don't have myopia or hyperopia, the plain lens without the prescription is the "plano lens" option. No Man's Sky. So crazy beautiful.
Red Matter 2 would be my pick.
1 and 2 should still be on sale for the bundle. Very good games!
Never tried red matter 1 but 2 is absolutely brilliantly done and probably the best choice to introduce yourself to psvr2. Had a friend over the other day to check out vr, he was impressed by kayak and horizon but red matter 2 blew him off his socks. Other then that, no man sky, RE, pistol whip have been my favorites so far. No mans sky is a real treat!
Red Matter 1 is much more puzzle driven but it’s not bad. Red Matter 2 is the total package.
You...haven't played 1? If you love 2, you must. Of course anyone that hasn't played either should start with 1.
Just downloaded it last night. Thanks to everyone’s comments yesterday. Looking forward to getting started..
Thats also on Quest
Check out both Resident Evil games (4 Remake and 8) If you like puzzle games, check out Red Matter 1 & 2, and 7th Guest.
If you have ps plus premium, there are six games included for vr2. This Includs my favorite VR games, the walking dead saints and sinners 1 and 2.
Don't forget Synth Riders!
Yes, if you played Quest 2 on autonome it's a huge upgrade. Gt7. Only reason I bought it. Get a playseat challenge and a t300 and you'll be in heaven
Get the Globular Cluster headset mod for comfort. If you never played Walkabout Minigolf and Puzzling Places.. that. It would help to list what games you’ve played on Quest 2
If you don't mind rhythm based games. I try Thumper. The game is maybe $10-20
Gran Turismo 7 and RE8 are a must have, then you can work your way through other games
Congratulations, definitely get RE Village, RE4 and Synapse.
Welcome to the family son. Well, since you already have a quest 2, it's not much of a difference. You can expect games that look closer to PCVR. If you want to see some really sharp graphics, red matter 2, if you want to shit your pants, Madison.
I recommend Resident evil village it’s cheap now and very scary good 😌
I recommend resiee t evil 4 and 8 gt red matter 1&2 saint sinners , and online pavlov alvo breachers
Good gut call I reckon. Resident Evil Village. More horror than #4 and most of the cut scenes are in VR also.
S&S 1&2. RM 1&2. RE village and RE4. Walk about mini golf. Vegas casino. GT7. Propagation paradise hotel. Pavlov. KAYAK VR. That’s all you need to get started going for a very long time 😃

I liked it too! Although the menus are a bit clunky but it was fun
Vegas Infinite is free and a super fun social game.
Vegas Infinite is way way way better on the Quest though, and he has that. (more skins, more toys, more game modes, more players, more rooms, and even mixed reality) But since it's free, get it on the PSVR2. It's fun on the PSVR2 as well.

Dig deep into the menu on the ps5 and there is an option that will show tou all the games that have demos as well. Crossfire I absolutely love!
In addition to the great games already mentioned, I really need to recommend Moss Book 1 and 2. Charming games, looks like a diorama.
Like watching a private play.
I did the same thing. Impulse buy but couldn’t pass it up. $100 off and $275 worth of Netflix credits. So got a new psvr2 for $200. Sucks I just sold grab turismo cause I never played it :(

Perfect timing to get a psVR2. Sony just added some great games to Psplus for psvr2. Both walking dead games are free if you got PlayStation premium
Red Matter 2 is a perfect Vr game in my opinion. Perfect mix of puzzle and action! Amazing graphics. The story is top notch withakiller ending. Also Moss Book 1 + 2 are utterly charming and a great action adventure games! Highly recommended!
Oh and I'd recommend Before your Eyes... Might still be on sale. Great story and does innovative eye tracking that the quest can't
Good call, the quest has variety but the psvr2 is way beyond with quality..enjoy
Aces of thunder wippyee
