Hunting on the switch gets easier if you mess with the sensitivity settings, as well as focusing on one animal/type at a time.
Bug hunting on the switch also gets easier if you craft as many bombs as possible and just spam them 😂
Yeah well if I aim on the right side of an animal and it is on the right side of two other animals, it will still go to the left even though I’m aiming as far as I can to the right. Yesterday it bend into the ground before me and there were no animals in front of the muujin I was aiming for and I was aiming up high. I like hunting and I’m doing okay (i can shoot all animals on my own) but it drives me insane that the arrows change direction so much.
Overall level is 370, I have been playing since march 5th Edit: I’m playing on switch

I despise cooking haha takes too long and uses loads of focus
I'm a solo player 😆 I've never seen anyone call out a cake party in chat (I only even learned about them a couple of weeks ago on Reddit ha)
Seems like fun though, and it's gotta be better than cooking alone haha the stress of watching the little timer tick down as you accidentally turn the light on/off instead of chopping veg 😂
Oh yeah people don’t really call them out in chat. They’re posted on the paliaparty app and on the Palia discord, and then a lot of people who host them have their own Discord servers.
It's still super effective for fast gold generation and with grilled fish giving an insane amount of worms and fertilizer (64/64?), the worm farms aren't even bovvered by the 0.180 version nerf. We just switched, lol!
Sell the cakes directly and catch fish and grlll em up!
Yeah I wasn’t in the game before they nerfed it but it is still the best way to make money based on the time spent. That being said I haven’t done a party since Tuesday so I dunno if anything changed again…
I play on switch too! So i recommend using sneaky bombs instead of standard and dispel arrows when hunting azure chaapa, proudhorn sernuk or the invisible mujin though for that i recommend in groups so one uses slow down arrows and the other dispel arrows

Am I the only one with a green thumb?
It’s my fastest growing level it’s 70+ atm, I have been playing for a little bit less than three months, it’s growing way faster after the update though

Overall level is 160. Been playing since switch launch but I took a month break due to burnout
I don't know what my levels are though I did look at cooking the other day and I think it was 28... Something 285?
I don't look at levels because they don't matter in Palia except for your own personal happiness quotient. Since there is no end content or end game I *have* to level up in order to join in, I don't need to chase levels.
Makes me love Palia even more. It's the most non-competitive game I've ever played and I never realized how badly I needed that in my life.
(I just peeked though and it's currently 531 total)
Level 194, playing since Dec when it launched on Switch

The lantern bobber makes it easier to see when you've hooked a fish more easily imo. I have shitty sight and it's helped me catch so many more fish easier. I chose the bobber over the tank first so I wouldn't hate fishing right out the gate lol. Then I saved up for the tank.
Agreed! The visibility of the bobber makes a big difference.
Without TOO much of a spoiler, there's a nice shiny unique bobber that you get at one point. It saved me from having to spend fishing guild medals on the lantern bobber, getting me to that fish tank faster! :D
This is the only picture I have on hand of the lantern bobber, and of course it's in the middle of the day. But still lol.
It's bright as shit.

I’ve been lightly playing here and there since maybe February? I was a little confused at first and just downloaded cuz it was free! I picked it back up when I was having a flare up and now i’ve been hooked. Still have a long way to go!!
I have no friends that play & I know they would love it if they just tried ugh lol

You can tell I have my favorites lol
If I’m not using fish or meat for recipes, I grill it before selling to help level up cooking. Same goes for oyster meat and mushrooms, although I’ve been using mushrooms for worms so I’ve not been selling those lately.
Oh that’s really helpful thank you! Didn’t realise grilling counted, it’s a shame you cant multiple grill things isn’t it. I’ve been feeding all that meat to the worms

lol probably should have just uploaded the picture 😂 I’m dumb
How do you get gardening so high compared to other skills?
Mine is like this too, sometimes during the day I'll pop in just for a few minutes every hour to garden and sell any pickled vegetables.
Yeah, I log in a couple times a day just to garden and load the seed makers and preserves jars.
Hunting on the switch gets easier if you mess with the sensitivity settings, as well as focusing on one animal/type at a time. Bug hunting on the switch also gets easier if you craft as many bombs as possible and just spam them 😂
Yeah changing the camera speed made a huge difference for me.
This might be the setting I need to have set really slow so I don’t trigger (worse) vertigo… The one that controls how quickly it turns/rotates?
Yes!
Can we change the setting that the arrows bend even when you are obviously aiming at one animal?
Sadly no. It'll aim for whichever is closest in your sight line
Yeah well if I aim on the right side of an animal and it is on the right side of two other animals, it will still go to the left even though I’m aiming as far as I can to the right. Yesterday it bend into the ground before me and there were no animals in front of the muujin I was aiming for and I was aiming up high. You can definitely tell who was deep into the cake making craze a few months ago! I wish cooking didn't have a timed element.
Cake making craze as in past tense? 😂 It’s still fully a thing.
I'm a solo player 😆 I've never seen anyone call out a cake party in chat (I only even learned about them a couple of weeks ago on Reddit ha) Seems like fun though, and it's gotta be better than cooking alone haha the stress of watching the little timer tick down as you accidentally turn the light on/off instead of chopping veg 😂

Really?? It used to be a huge source of gold though. They nerfed it pretty hard, and the worm farm laundering, too.

How do you get gardening so high??!
I recommend playing 8 hours a day 7 days a week.
someone in these comments has a gardening 100+ lol
You can tend to your garden every irl hour and get xp for it by harvesting crops. If you build a self watering garden it doesn’t cost much time.
I really like fishing lol https://preview.redd.it/u8h49556en3d1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=833000e571c5780fcc6a8d753138ecb9231d42ed
the way no one has addressed 360 cooking 😂
Well I gotta cook to make worms to fish with 😂
too much work for me, I just feed them mushrooms and sweet leaves 😅 that much cooking is admirable
Level 940? Dayummmm, goals!
I have no life. Don't follow me into the pit of disparity.
*follows you anyway* ![gif](giphy|4CP58gxwbBy2Q) ~~shopping~~...\*fishing
Welp... *slaps knees* Add me and we'll go fishing. (but not tonight. I am le tired)
Well, have a nap.
ZEN FIRE DE MISSILES! No? Anyone? Bueller? ☹️
Fuckin kangaroos..
Jeri Ryan has always been a power fisherman.
Looks like you hate cooking though:/
When I think about the number of idle seconds waiting for a fish to get to this level, I feel so antsy.
Have you tried the major hook time booster? Works pretty well.
This is another one of those moments where I realize I should read more and skip less.
Fish hook booster in addition to the 5x fish together bonus equates to less than one second cast to hook time ;)
It is too early to say I love you?
Never. I love you too.
😂❤️
😂😂 it happens!
🤨😭 am I playing this game wrong?? All my skills are around level 10.
I have played over 1,600 hours. I'm gonna assume you're on target for your time played. ❤️
What does the aquarium look like?! I want it!
