Papa Johns hasn't been Papa Johns long. They (the board that fired John) has already been looted. They need slaves to keep the profit rolling.
Tell them, to fuck themselves (politely of, course)
I’m about to leave for the pay. I’m at $16/hr as a shift lead and was told they can’t afford anymore bumps anytime soon, maybe $0.50 max. $15 is every other fast food place around here’s starting pay. I started at $9/hr 3 years ago. Company can’t afford shit
I'm pretty skittish about hiring shift leads or full time instores off the street too. But I've had plenty of people start at 20hrs and quickly move to full time within a couple weeks if they're good. Promotions come quick if you have good work ethic as well.
I make $15/hr as an MD (assistant manager) in AL. I've been making the same amount the year and a half I've been MD after asking several times for a raise. They really don't care about you. I stopped caring about the job a long time ago 🤷🏼♀️ only reason I haven't quit is bc I'm moving soon anyway
If I were offered a job and I didn't have a job but needed one I would take it, but if I were offered a job right now with that kind of pay? And they said '10.50" when the minimum wage is like 14$ I would ask them if I wrote the word "stupid" on my forehead. Maybe they thought you've never worked food service before 😂😂
Why the hell are they hiring if that’s all they can offer?
That is a great question. Wish I had a answer.

Did you flip a desk back onto your interviewer?

Yeah....then all the employees we do get suck hard. You get what you pay for.
they are hiring but summers are slow? I’d ask that question to the GM. Know your worth! 💪

Min wage where I am is $7.75
All I'm saying is 10.50 seems low and it seems op agreed considering they denied the position. I know minimum wage depends on location in the states
16.00/hr in my area
Sorry to hear that where I live it's about to be 13 an hour
Well I bet your local rent is a lot higher as well
I wouldn't know I own my house and it's been paid off
