Every credible scientist for the past half a century has been warning people that we're fucking up the climate and causing extreme weather, but no. It must be Jewish Space Lasers.

dhkendall

“People are actively creating this weather change!” “Well, yes, but no.”

vxicepickxv

Also, a resounding "Well, no, but yes."

tripping_on_phonics

Maybe they’re referring to unintentional weather manipulation on a longer timescale /s

radd_racer

> Jewish Space Lasers Thanks for the shout out! Our third album, *You Ban Usury, We Get Cash Money* comes out May 1st on Apple Music.

-tobi-kadachi-

Wow so many tornados in Oklahoma and the area north and south of it, perhaps we should give the nickname “tornado alley”. Oh wait never mind we already did forever ago since that area has always had extreme tornados and if climate change would affect tornados somewhere first it would obviously be there.

WTFOver2

Also call this area the Bible Belt. Coincidence, I think not, THEY must be SeEdInG clouds to wipe us Christians off the map. /s just in case.

reDDit-sucksass

I was just thinking there must be a lot of LGBTQIA folks in Oklahoma as I understand they are the cause of natural disasters.

GoogleZombie

Well it is not working, they are all still here ☹️

IsaKissTheRain

Hmmm…I wonder how tornados formed before modern technology. *Weeeiiiird*.

CuriousAlienStudent

They didn't all historical records of tornados prior to the invention of HAARP and chem trails are fake. It was always part of the deep states' plan to one day be able to make destructive weather anomalies but hide their evil plan in plain sight. So they seeded history with fictional tales of tornados and "wild" fires so that one day, when the technology was invented, they could use it, and no one thought it was weird. I mean, have you ever seen a photograph of a tornado from 500 years ago? Though not checkmate 73D chess. Obviously s/

SporesM0ldsandFungus

So therefore The Wizard of Oz, the book, not just the film, which I might add - conspiracy nuts love to applaud for it's satire of charlatans and authoritarians as well as the precious metal monetary policy - is Deep State propaganda because it starts with a tornado. The conspiracy goes so deep! /s

jerrylowe2006

Hey bright boy, have you ever seen any photographs of anything from 500 years ago? No? Thought not. Because photography didn't exist 500 years ago. Are you QANON types simply incapable of logical thought? I think 46 double d chess is more your style, friend.

CuriousAlienStudent

I'm not sure if you're serious or not, but s/ stands for sarcasm on reddit.

MARATXXX

Satanists and witchcraft

volantredx

This is a perfect showing of how and why conspiracy theories exist and thrive. These people are obviously terrified of the dangers of the storms and can't process their emotions fully. Rather than accept the randomness of the world their brains are way more comfortable imagining that the whole thing is a dastardly plot by evil forces. The existence of evil people who have control over the weather is more logical to them than the idea that the world is a random and scary place.

Ben_Pharten

This is right on

Z0idberg_MD

I agree but feel slightly different. “The world is complex and we are facing the consequences of our actions there is no easy way reverse and it’s more appealing for people to deny that and they prefer to believe in the absurd simplicity that a small group of powerful and evil individuals are causing harm and stopping them would stop the harm”.

NfamousKaye

Dude I saw several people in a chat of a chaser I was watching talking about weather manipulation I thought they were just weirdos but now it makes sense where that’s coming from 🤦🏽‍♀️

RogueNightingale

When bad weather hurts us, it's weather manipulation. When it hurts others, it's the wrath of God. Sound logic. /s

SaltyBarDog

Nope, god just hates you.

ObjectivePretend6755

And she's not done yet.

BigBossPoodle

What's funny is that actual tornadoes are either impossible, or so difficult that it may as well be impossible, to artificially create. We can create windfunnels on small scale, because we can temperature control an insulated space and then run high speed wind through it. Tornadoes require extreme temperature differences meeting to actually create, and those fronts must then also create extremely high wind.

XanderTheMander

If we had the power to create tornadoes it would be mass produced and used in warfare

SpiritedRain247

This is my sentiment whenever I see shit like this. If we had half the shit they say we do then war would be so much worse

Vegoia2

"where the wind goes whipping down the plains" guess they forgot

DivaDragon

Thx for getting that stuck in my head today, gonna be a bop alternating that with "I cain't say no!" lol

Vegoia2

what a musical it is, old timey is good.

DivaDragon

ThatSpaceShooterGame

Zarhle is the only voice of reason. :(

Iron_Baron

I mean, technically they are. It's just inadvertent manipulation via climate change driving them to higher frequency and greater levels of destruction. Not that any of those people can grasp such nuance.

whitemanwhocantjump

Because this sort of thing almost never happens in the section of the country nicknamed "Tornado Alley."/s

mykepagan

I thought they were God’s punishment of Oklahoma for voting for Trump. Isn’t that the usual reason for weather disasters?

greatSorosGhost

Oh my god! They have tornadoes in Oklahoma now?!? This must be a deep state plot. (/s for the MAGA lurkers.)

Vegoia2

Oklahoma known for tornadoes in the past but now they are manipulations? how do the magats function daily with mush brains?

CapnCanfield

I'm from NJ, and I haven't heard of any tsunami warning

ParkerRoyce

Vote Hunter and this nados stop plain and simple

Pod_people

Trailer-park uncle went off his meds again and he’s staring through the blinds between his Truth Social posts and chain-smoking American Spirits.

Jvshelby

I thought all these naders were part of guerrilla advertising promoting the film Twisters, in theaters July 19.

ShrmpHvnNw

Tornadoes in the most common area to have tornadoes? MADNESS!

goldilocksmermaid

I thought they were happening because God hates MAGA

Jigyo

Maybe God is punishing you. That's what they come up with when a natural disaster hits blue states.

Solstice_Fluff

If I ‘could’ control the weather.

sid3113

Wow. I’m glad I’m normal. You guys are fucked. Gonna go have a good Sunday. Good luck

Ben_Pharten

It's April and we're entering the warmer part of the year....

adamantsilk

I live in Oklahoma and they were talking about this shit for daaaays.

Arrya

I feel like these are just trolls and bots talking to each other.

mrbigglessworth

None of these morons remember May 3 1999.

Mike_Huncho

Im not saying were the dumbest state in the union; but we are the dumbest state in the union

zeke235

Tornadoes?! In Oklahoma?!😯

snapper1971

It's a long established deeply ingrained conspiracy theory. They don't need to think. They don't have to reason. They don't have to question their opinion. They exist in a state of climate denial and therefore any instability in the climate is obviously as a result of gubmint action rather than collective Inaction.
