Yeah! When they're all "we want you actually, come with us" ~~to a greater or lesser degree~~, he fights them and he absolutely can't understand it. It makes no tactical sense to him at all.
*But then he gives way*—"you're all completely beyond my understanding". You can hear his voice shift somewhat back into the Detective Prince register. He's going to go with them.
And then Cognitive Akechi walks in, of course. If you want more evidence for this one, watch the *start* of the Cogkechi sequence, and how Akechi responds when Cogkechi threatens the PTs (!), as well as vice versa.
