What's the ROI on this strategy?
Cost of rental, fuel and your time just to steal someones $10 amazon order. They'd make more money getting a job. This is something Ricky would make Cory and Trevor do.
Update, for some reason I can't edit.
The uhaul was found last night up at Crystal drive sounds like it was with a secondary vehicle with Quebec plates.
The power of social media through Facebook people were on the lookout, cops were called due to that girl in the photo being aggressive.
I don't know what's happened from there.
What a terrible misuse of police resources if they couldn't be bothered to send a unit to investigate a crime in progress, committed by someone driving the easiest vehicle possible to tail. This is the reason we seem to be caught in this cycle of escalating brazenness. I guess it makes a lot more sense to let the perpetrators go, and then send an officer the next day to each victim's house to take statements to be filed under "who cares", back at the station.
I had a friend that called a few weeks back when a person was muttering nonsense while holding a large homemade blade outside a bank branch between the main door and outside ATM. If dispatch sent someone to check on it, it was hours later, so just an FYI for how serious something of that nature is taken.
It took long enough, we had people who found the truck on crystal drive and called it in, the cops never showed.
We wound up reporting it to uhaul, that way the cops had no choice but to investigate
If Uhaul is like any fleet in north America they most likely have GPS’s in their trucks. I’d call and find out
Thank you, it's closed now, we will be calling as soon as it's open.
Yan these are lowjacked, i assume.
What?
Fleet vehicles typically have GPS, colloquially known as lowjacking.
Okay, I’ve never heard that term before.I’ve heard of boomerang and Esri systems.
Regardless of the name, OP should have some material to help him out
lojacked, not lowjacked

I wish you could laugh react at comments on here lmao, that’s exactly what I envisioned when I saw this 😂
Where in town was this?
Near Adam Scott north end
Yes I’ve heard a lot of that happening around here!
It’s everywhere they do different spots in different days.

Please tell me you called the cops lol
We did, but as we know the police here don't do much. My husband got in trouble by the operator for following the uhaul

Sorry, the police only care about recovering stolen goods for businesses and not people
Literally.
