Work for an investment bank, hindi. Were handling sensitive data so pinagbawal yung chatgpt. Theyre trying to onboard github copilot tho, pero nothing major happening yet.
I do use chatgpt from time to time sa selpon ko πππ napapaisip tuloy ako bumili ng ipad
Working for an AU client specializing in wealth management and trading.
Same with our company. All codes must be kept within company network. All git repositories and CI/CD servers are internal.
Lahat daw kasing taning naitanong na..haha..almost every other question ko sa SO laging tagged as duplicate
Buti pa gpt at may respeto, nag papasalmat pa..hahaha
I tried for a few weeks pero it didn't help much to be honest. I still like the google search route kasi mas maraming realizations along the way. Like how one approach is better than the other or why some of them aren't applicable to our case.
Very helpful for me, may mga times na di ko lang talaga maalala yung syntax or medyo complex loop or regex yung kailangan ko. Rather than thinking about it, I ask chatgpt to do it for me first. 4/5 times it generates the code I need correctly.
not work related but i recently tried using chatgpt when trying to learn something and it really makes everything much easier to understand. Mas mabilis matuto, its crazy compared dati.
Yes sobrang malaking bagay sakin.
Una nakaka guilty pero in the end anong difference noong naabutan ko pa stackoverflow.. as long as i do the job at naiintindihan ko yung code at natatapos ko trabaho ko at kumikita ako. Tapos usapan.
I only use chatGPT to explain terms to me, hindi talaga magamit sa systems namin for practical use kasi sobrang integrated at complex na nung app.
Most of the time tama naman. pero if may mali pwede mo naman sya i ask if there are other answers or other approach etc. or if sobrang laki nung tinatanong mo try to break it down by parts.
Usually kasi nasa structure ng tanong mo yan.
we use AI Messaging software to update the prices of the menu (restaurants) then upload it to their phones. It's pretty nice and fast. Back in the day sabi ng Boss ko, we have actual voice talents na nagrerecord pa nun, pero AI na ngaun lahat
Same with the other comment. Working in finance, blocked ang AI samen.
I don't know about you people, but I do enjoy crafting my OWN solutions. Sometimes I propose at least 2 solutions to a single problem on a different branch.
AI would only help you to some extent, pero kapag maayos yung company nyo lalo na at may mga architects and principals (for big products), di makakalusot yan sa code review dahil need mo ipaliwag yung solution mo especially for situational use cases.
PS: Never used an AI.
My Company uses microsoft ecosystem. Data sa bing AI namin is protected so nagagamit naman.
Our Service Now also uses AI to assign tickets.
We would be migrating some of our business systems to Saleforce with their Einstein, so mejo excited ako kung gaano ito makakatulong sa data quality namin
Yes. I use it if may need ng regular expression sa logic or need ko intindihin yung existing regular expression.
I also use ChatGPT to search for syntax. Before ang default ko is stackoverflow.
It is also useful for creating simple test case scenarios when writing test scripts.
I don't paste real project code pero something similar like for example about employee yung ginagawa ko sa work, pero sa chatgpt i-narrate ko as book object.
I don't copy paste whole block of codes from ChatGPT to editor, it's more of guide/tutor and ikaw pa din bahala sa business logic specific sa task mo.
Changed my life lol. Itβs like Google on steroids, a super smart assistant, and an efficient teacher. Also doubled my already good salary partly bc of it.
It can feel like cheating on exams though - so just know your principles and stick with them. Know whatβs important to you and keep doing them yourself.
For me, I use it for writing unit test because I really suck at it, helps a lot especially when gpt gets it at the first round. Saves a lot of time. Also I do ask it some medium complexity tasks to see who is better me or it.
Yes, specifically the perplexity ai. Mas mabilis sya kesa sa google. It has access to the internet and pino-provide nya din yung mga source nya in case di nag m-make sense para sayo yung response nya.

Try mo integrate sa VsCode ung OpenAI API.
Sige

Bawal na bawal din samin to (Insurance). Kahit copilot.

It's faster than googling, but sometimes chatgpt just doesnt have the right answer and end up googling.
Unlike stackoverflow, chatgpt isnt rude and condescending when you ask it questions. So ive been using it a lot
Lahat daw kasing taning naitanong na..haha..almost every other question ko sa SO laging tagged as duplicate Buti pa gpt at may respeto, nag papasalmat pa..hahaha
Heck pwede ikaw pa magalit pag mali bigay niya π

We are utilizing and creating GenAI in our company and other startups. Personally, it help me clean my code.

Yeah and it laid off a lot of my co-workers especially the juniors.
3 days estimate na work nagiging 2 hours dahil sa chatGPT
ayos sya for documentation(commit message, code comment)
Documentation, translations, formal replies/letters. For code, basic stuff na matrabaho, regex for example

ayt, good for you
Org use starmind and co pilot, and we start a new venture AI/machine learning for health and safety industry regulation. Chatgpt is also helpful

Copilot is greaaaaaat. Reduces a lot sapagttype ng boilerplate codes or pag aautofill niya ng variables since in context naman siya (most of the time)
CoPilot for productivity!!
Really helpful especially giving feedbacks to teammates and rephrasing words for your RFC. My go to for sample code and learning.

Uhh use it for constructing emails
